Excellent online based database with advanced access controls
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has a fantastic and simple user interface whilst still providing a huge amount of functionality meaning it can most likely achieve the results your organisation is looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
There only limitation I have discovered so far is with formatting cells, where the entire column needs to remain consistent - fine for single table structures but not ideal when multiple tables need to be placed on the one smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All project reporting is now completed and stored on the one system enabling quick and easy access for senior management to review each month. Dashboards are also used to quickly summarise and highlight the most important pices streamlining the review process and saving everyone time.

HOW EASY IT IS TO USE .vERY QUICK AND SIMPLE ASWELL . eVERY TIME I FORGET MY PASSWORD I CAN EASLIY GET BACK IN WHERE AS IN THE PAST WITH OTHER DEVICES IT WAS A STRUGGLE TO GET BACK IN.

iT HELPS ME SEARCH UP PALLETS THAT ARE ALWAYS MISSING . a GREAT TOOL TO HAVE ON SMARTSHEET IT TELLS ME IF MY PALLETS ARE ON SITE OR AT OUR DEPORT READY FOR SHIPMENT
A great collaboration system for both our internal business and with clients
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is great in that we can share sheets and workspaces with our clients and we can all contribute to the one document. We use smartsheet to track project Risks, Actions, Issues and Decisions with our customers and everyone can populate the sheet. We also use the high level timelines and dashboards to display project status and budgets.
Internally I use smartsheet to track my to-do list and trigger off reminders to myself to ensure that I am getting tasks done on time, or I also use the form functionality to capture attendance of events we are hosting internally. (eg registration, dietary requirements).

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Smartsheet would link directly to Autotask. We use Autotask for our internally timesheeting and billing, and it would be awesome to pull this data directly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is helping us to manage the full project with our clients. We are able to track risks and actions much better and bring these into our daily / weekly standups to action. I also find using Smartsheet for my to-do lists is helping me manage my own work.
Great Tool for Customer Engagements
What do you like best about the product?
Formulas work similar to excel. Single pane view for internal and external contacts providing all users with the most up to date information. Pre-defined templates give you a good jump start. Easy to use functionality and integration with forms makes this my preferred collaboration tool for groups.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited chart and layout options in the dashboard. Reporting feature pulls formatting from sheet and can't be customised.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has allowed me to create a framework for my customer health reviews. The master template is shared with my colleaues making it easier for them use it. It has also improved my customer enagagements becasue external contacts don't require a Smartsheet license to colloborate on shared content.
Very helpful PM Tool - Does the job well but can be tricky for more sophisticated portfolio
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and user friendly interface. I like the ability to synchronize everything real time on my Project Status Dashboard (Project Plan & RAID) to bring up an insightful high level view. Massive step from when I was using MS Project (or Excel). Nice Dashboard to circulate internally and to clients.

What do you dislike about the product?
It is complex to link together a portfolio of projects to have an aggregated Dashboard view. It should be technically easier for the user and with less glitches.
There are some limitations on the layouts of Dashboards not all information are clearly readable.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real time sync of my updates on a Dashboard. Aggregate view of project portfolio. Elevated governance via insightful Dashboards. Less time spent on weekly updates and less prone to manual errors.
Not user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
The timesheets are easy to use but I don't like how it puts in estimated time for hours you haven't worked yet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Finding documents is not easy and the user flow is poor. I don't have any solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It consolidates work across teams in one place but the UI is messy so it can feel cumbersome at times.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to set up sheets and automation and share them with team members and external parties.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is somewhat limited in terms of screen layouts so it doesn't lend it self to more complex processes such as scrum management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is facilitating the application of 'Level 10' meetings capturing all tasks and automated follow up which is making our meetings very effective and agile.

What do you like best about the product?
The most useful thing in smartsheet is the simple way to change the dependencies, somo other plataforms are very complicated to change this part of a gantt table.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we´re not able to change dates, because it´s blocked by the admin of the task, if the person left the company it´s imposible to change the date, so we need to create a new activity
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The simple way of telling the things, when you make a Gantt you need to be very specific to tell what you want to communicate so Smartsheet helps to ve very clear in the comunication.
Very Flexible, but steep learning curve
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create dashboards and automated workflows set up however I like without being limited to a template or pre-defined process. There are also templates if you do prefer to have things pre-set or to create your own templates to pass on to your teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not always intuitive, setting things up requires a lot of upfront time, a lot of searching in the help articles and online community or calls with support staff, which are very helpful, but still, would be better to not need so much hand-holding to get things going.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us automate our reports, and automate reminders for recurring events/tasks, they also allow us to collaborate on events and marketing. I use it for both personal to-do projects and for managing my team's to do and required work.

Collaboration, automation and ease of basic data collection

Used to use Monday.com which had a better UX but was an inferior product in terms of features and integrations

What do you dislike about the product?
Only one form allowed per row, why oh why can't I have multiple forms to collect data per row. I know there are workarounds,but they aren't as good and slick as forms
