What do you like best about the product?
The templates available allow for an easy and fast business tool creation,which improves my team and my efficiency.
The automation and the forms really changed the way I work these days, automatic process filled in on a simple form is the best thing I could impleemnt with Smartsheet so far.

What do you dislike about the product?
quite frankly, I believe the tool is great, perhaps improve the Smartsheet window app ,making it faster loading the contents and being abler to create user views.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tickets submission, we have developed our own tool for that purpose.

Several functionalities ought to introduce more interactive explanations into the mix.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This document assists me in effectively tracking information across various programs and projects, empowering us to maintain a firm grip on critical operational data. By doing so, we ensure meticulous oversight and prevent any potential pitfalls down the road.
Very useful tool that easily extends the capability of a normal spreadsheet
What do you like best about the product?
I find Smartsheet extremely user friendly and it allows me to perform tasks easily that are not that simple to achieve ina spreadsheet. It also allows be to perfom the basic functions required of a project management tool, providing me with the required views and reporting capabilities without the complexity of regular project management tools. It is an extremely versitle tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that when using Smartsheet to build out a schedule I am provided with most of the functions I require. This may just be my understanding of how to use the product, however when I have predecessors established, inserting or deleting tasks breaks the logic of predecessors/successors and the taks don't automatically keep their order Iand I need to manually create the links again. For this reason I still use MS Project and have not fully migrated to using Smartsheets. If this issue of resolved (or I am shown how to do this), I would have no reason to continue using MS Project.

Easily create and share project schedules and associated reports and visual aid that are required for Executive.

What do you like best about the product?
THe most helpful part of Smartsheet, is you can easily link sheets together, so you can have different information from a variety of sheets all entered into one sheet, without needing to manually add the data in.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike much about smartsheet, it is great to use, and I haven't found any down sides to using it.
The only thing, i dislike is how sometimes it takes a while to save all your data, this may not be a problem you can fix, but just one dislike.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using smartsheet solves many problems, as it allows everyone in our team to edit the same sheet easily. This is greatly benefitted how way of storing data, and information on tasks and projects.
Powerful Too for Business
What do you like best about the product?
Love the features, including commenting, attachments, tagging, automatic emails. very powerfull tool. We use this for multiple business systems, with automatic reminders & follow ups etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
painfully slow loading times in Australia. Forms are troublesomely slow to the point where they are almost usless. we have good internet facilities i would love to see smartsheet get their act together on speed. Paid users only can edit comment etc, makes it uneconomical to use for alot of businesses. please cosider adding users within the organisation that can comment etc on a free account & limit functionality to them

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is not only powerful but intuitive - long time Excel users would definitely have an advantage in understanding the basic capabilities of the platform, but even those with basic to intermediate understanding of logarithms and programming logic would find that this tool breaks the barriers that usually hold people back from working with data.
Smartsheet is not just an online Excel-type of platform - its templates allow for users to create multiple reports, dashboards, and trackers that would suit almost any professional and/or business owner, regardless of the size of the company. Automation is also made simple and is no longer a word to fear among its users.
The online Smartsheet community is also very straightforward and comprehensive - there wouldn't be a need for people to sift through help sites that end up offering third-party software or solutions that aren't relevant. Real users share real solutions, and that's what matters when creating an online help community.
Lastly, Smartsheet listens to its users and subscribers, building on ideas and suggestions. Not all are captured with each update, but the transformation from how it was in 2017 (when I first used it) to where it is today in 2023 is astonishing.

What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest difficulty in using Smartsheet is the stigma around most decision makers being used to Excel. As such, encouraging Smartsheet in the workplace, or even using Smartsheet in presentations (i.e. sharing these with stakeholders) usually involve exporting the presentation to PDF and/or XLSX (which, thankfully, Smartsheet is capable of).
There also are limitations for advanced Excel users who migrate to Smartsheet, such as VLOOKUPs as the methodology is different in the platform. Other logarithms will also need to be learned, so a learning curve is expected (i.e. not recommended for people who want a plug-and-play, out-of-the-box solution).
Lastly, real-time syncing between the browser version and desktop app seems to be a work in progress. The desktop app is relatively new, so there is an expectation that this will improve in the near future.

Data capture and tracking - even more so analysis and visualization - are problems that exist in my role and industry. Professionals typically take reporting for granted due to its manual nature and, consequently, the time related tasks consume. With Smartsheet, data is not just fully captured, but it inspires users to think of other data points that may be analyzed for future reference and strategy-building.
Manual triggers and data manipulation also poses a problem as this type of approach sacrifices data integrity and leads to tasks slipping through the cracks. Automation, as a solution, used to be limited to companies with resources to partner with solutions companies and/or employ their own engineers to do so. Smartsheet was able to bridge this gap, even at least for the recurring and common tasks, by making automation simple and intuitive, i.e. designed for non-IT professionals. As such, data has always been ready in real time and can be presented with full confidence due to its accuracy.

Scalable and efficient
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is intuitive enough for our non technical users to make use of what they need while still having the complex backend reporting capabilities that management require to inform their decision making.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't seems to allow for sharing resource views between even licensed users. Each user must figigure their own resource view which seems redundant when the design has already been done by other users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can have hundreds of projects with pipelines out to 2 years or more so resource planning out that far along with the flexibility to adjust project timelines easily when materials are delayed or other circumstances dictate means the production line can be kept at capacity far more easily than our previous experience. In fact our previous system could never have kept up with the new demands.

The dashboards features has helped me to graph montly variance in budget vs actual hours used in our factory.

There is no settings to back up smartsheet. In case if I loose data there's no way I can track them back. There should a data reset point in smartsheet.

Easy to use. Engages team members. Actions and accountabilities are easy to track. Templates are wide and varied, with everything I need to keep my projects on track.
What do you dislike about the product?
People still don't know about it even though I've used it for quite a few years now. More visibility in Australia, in the manufacturing sector would increase users and make it easier to onboard my clients into the platform.

Keeps progress visible and workflows automated, individual and team accountability, client engagement and involvement. Helps me track progress and keep everything in one place.

Very intuitive user interface that makes it very easy to use the software; also a very dynamic development and R&D team that consistently improves on the features
What do you dislike about the product?
Desire for Enhanced Control: Need the Ability to Specify Sender's Email in Automated Messages. Currently, there is no way to change the sender's email, not desirable.
