A great tool for any company!
What do you like best about the product?
My review is in the context of a Project Manager. When using Smartsheets I have found it takes the best from Excel and MSP and puts it in a simplistic platform that enables the delivery of a small low complexity project, to the reporting of a complex portfolio of projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any thing its knowing when best to apply and use it. If user access isn't control sufficiently or if users are trained sufficienty it can easily get messy / out of control.
The outlook for the software looks great, however if you are used to using MSP / excel there are certain features that you would be used to that are not available 'yet' (hopefully on the road map). Such as being able to set and apply multiple baselines and track performance again these opposed to just the latest.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to report on multiple projects in a variety of reports and / or dashboards that is set on live up todate data and doesn't relie on manual intervention to produce a report.

What do you like best about the product?
it's quick, efficient and easy and really good for business to business relations
What do you dislike about the product?
The permissions are quite frustrating when completing important taksks, which take a while to fix.

Efficiency of work flow and cohesive communications
Smartsheet has been one of the helpful tools in my daily work tasks.
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet as a collaboration tool is one of the best thing about the application. It's really easy to communicate and share the outputs/sheets to other users, not just the user within the organization but also outside collaborators.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some functions that are limited in Smartsheet. For example, in the Dashboard, the graphs and charts have limited editing options. It can't be manipulated just like in the Excel or PowerPoint charts and graphs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's not really a busines problem, but Smartsheet improves the way we collaborate with other members of the team whenever there are projects. It enable us to communicate easily with each other.

That the plattfrom can be used for multiple responsibility´s..business / private

Find it complicated to access on mobile device

Smartsheet platform is excellent for Teams working remote from diffrent countries...faster & more productive
I find this really easy to use and helps with my job
What do you like best about the product?
I find Smartsheet really simple to understand and use. It assists me with my job as I am shared to the worskspaces and the reports that I need to do my job so I dont have to go hunt for them.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my experience I have found it overall really helpful, the downside is that if i have been shared to a sheet that I require I have to go to my team externally to invite me. If there was an option to ask to be invited if there is a sheet with the name im asking that would be useful.

Smartsheet helps me manage the multiple projects that we have and a timely manner as the information is all in project workspaces and can be sectioned again from there just like a file saver.
Easy to learn, hard to master
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets takes the similar format of software such as Mircrosoft excel and Microsoft planning etc. This allows you to dive right in and make use of previously gathered knowledge
What do you dislike about the product?
Whilst the software already seems to be fimilar, it struggles to hold your hand when walking you through features that would are unique to its own programme. I think if there are more templates available for users to start with, this can inspire ideas and allow users to reverse engineer templates to figure out how things work/what they like,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets allows me to seemlessly create workflows through effective Gaant charts and assign responsible owners to tasks. Previously, I would use insufficient sofware such as google slides or excel spreadsheets that wouldn't offer as much utility as Smartsheets
A solid basis to start a business
What do you like best about the product?
It is a simple system to use for beginners which is helpful, and sharing to the of information to the relavent team members is a really useful feature which we use frequently.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of the functionality which is required isn't available on a standard license and requires costly add ons to get the functions and efficientcy that we require , but unfortunately is not within our budget.

Smartsheets helps with the day to day running of our business, by allowing an allocation of work to team members. It also assists with keeping all ouf our project costs and changes in one place.
Highly customisable and easy to use PPM tool
What do you like best about the product?
My team started using Smartsheet to improve automation for portfolio management reporting a year ago. In this time the functionalities I realy enjoy are the dashboards and the collaboration tools that allow tagging, and creating workflows to trigger notifications and request specific actions. The roll out of the tool has been quite easy as well, as it is based on spreadsheets so it wasn't a steep learning curve. I also found the help center very useful for self-guided learning. As the tool is very flexible, it is easy to customise the sheets to serve different purposes and track different data points. I personally use it for benefits, resourcing and project delivery tracking and it makes it very easy to use and report on. Overall team productivity has increased since we implemented Smartsheet and reporting is much more streamlined which has solved the primary issues we wanted to.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my opinion what is good about the tool, can also be a limitation - it is very easy to utilise Smartsheet for waterfall projects, but I struggle to translate more Agile ways of working within it. The planing/ roadmap functionality is a bit limited and it provides information in a very 'top-left, bottom-right' manner which can be a hindrance to presenting detailed information for a portfolio view. There are paid-for add ons that can cover the need for these but it is a bit disappointing they are not part of the main packadge. Other than the above I find the tool easy to implement and use and to provide a good foundational reporting and portfolio management capabilities.

Collaboration and reporting ease. Before adopting Smartsheet my team did lengthy ppt reports with no easy and unifor way to present data visually. It would take ages to edit a slide. Now, we use dashboards and reporting and all stakeholders have the approvpriate level access to 'self-serve' and interrogate the data independently. And it is much easier for Programme Managers to input the data in the tool by being reminded through the workflow syste. We reduced time in chasing and asking about data and producing report, raising overall productivity and increasing engagement.
Easy and simple
What do you like best about the product?
Can input whatever information we need and set up the sheets how we want them to. They are easy to use and we never have issues with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when you are in the middle of something the sheet will autosave and it wil send you back to the top of the page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everyone can clearly see what tasks are allocated to them. Also we have sheets that pull through reports so quick update with them every morning and everyone gets the information they need.
Nice & easy system to use!

It is very clear, easy to use and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at all other than maybe adding an automatic reload function?

Having all of our stock in 1 place so it can be easliy found is the best benefit to me with using Smarsheet.
