Huge Fan of Smartsheet!
What do you like best about the product?
I was a hard convert, Smartsheet was recommended to me by a peer, but I took a couple year to adopt it. I've been hooked on the product ever since; the sharing and collaborative capabilities make communicating and keeping the team(s) across multiple organizations up to date so much easier. I don't send a sinlge email, yet everyone on my team knows exactly what they are accountable for 24/7. A few years ago, there was talk of moving to a different platform, I offered that I would pay for the Smartsheet account personally if they would allow me to continue using it, but thankfully, that never became necessary!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like easier ways to aggragate the information across projects and across open item sheets. I would also like to see what changed on a sheet and what the value was previously. I would like to be able to enter a buget on a row and then be able to track change request revisions to that row and see the hostory over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to connect multiple resources across multiple organizations on a singe project greatly streamlines my communication requirements and there are never misunderstandings becuase someone is looking a tthe wrong version of a plan. Dozens of emails are emliniated each week just by training the team to review their sheets.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a great all around tool for automation, data collection and visualization, as well as team organization. Forms and sheets are intuitive to build. Converting between different views is a huge strength here, grid, calendar, cards, etc are all flexible depending on what someone wants to see.
What do you dislike about the product?
The chart building in the dashboard builder is not as intuitive as other systems like Adobe Workfront. It should be more drag and drop and flexible with how you arange the groupings of the data. There are not great resourcing and capacity management options for teams that do not use Smartsheet to project manage all work. From Demos of Smartsheet Data Shuttle and Table, it only seems to be able to add new data but not look out for any data that was removed in an upload.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is solving the need to be more automated in our communications across an internal digital product development agency. As a central operations team, we use Smartsheet to automate reminders, obtain request approvals on various processes (travel, training, language translations) as well as track our team's work and plan communications/deadlines on a collaborative calendar. Smartsheet has saved us time in sending out manual reminders and allows us to be more transparent in our workflows.
Streamlining Workflows
What do you like best about the product?
When the systems are set up correctly it is a very powerful tool to move information to the places it needs to go. It has the feature set of excel while having the collaboration features similar to google sheets. The workspace features are especially helpful where you can build a file structure to organize your sheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be very finnicky at times. If there was an easier way to set up references that would be helpful. Also, pulling in more excel-like features would be helpful. For example, having XLOOKUP formula in smartsheets or having "Find/Replace" features would be helpful.
Also, I think having template workspaces for different business workflows would be helpful instead of the current template folders that focus on only a specific type of sheet

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping our lead in the light on what is happening in the 40-50 projects we have going on in our region. Also standardizing how we manage projects to ensure information is where it needs to be on each project instead of scattered in different places. This has really helped push our team forward.
I love Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
I find most helpful that it's an easy place for my entire team to track metrics on the projects we work on. I am able to create Dashboards for management.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way our space is set up, I have limited control on how much I can do with Dashboarding. This isn't a Smartsheet problem though, more of the way my organization has our space set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us track the hours worked in each project.
It is a great tool for PM with an traditional methodology, but not so much for agile aproaches

I can have all the information in one place in terms of the tasks that need to be executed

That task requiring long and elevated timelines are simplified because of the way dates are cascading when you modify one, no matter at wich point you do it in your work back schedule
What do you dislike about the product?
It usually means it's an additional tool, that clients do not always have access to. Also, the fact that you have to manually save your edits before someone else could see it complexifies the "same time" work you do with your colleagues
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its a visual way (many visual options too) to see what the next months in your life will look like, lol. I espacially appreciate the fact that you can put tasks under others.
Solid experience with room to grow
What do you like best about the product?
Love the ability to see what my team is making progress on in real-time. Cleaner interface and syncing than something like Google Sheets, with a lot more customization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the downloadable templates are too specific and not easily changed to fit our business' needs, though they do give you a good starting point to make something yourself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us manage our workflow when it comes to accounting, month-end closing processes, and creating and updating KPIs. It does this all with multiple users logged in to the same interface.

What do you like best about the product?
I highly recommend SmartSheet to everyone! It is a highly useful tool that is perfect for receiving, analyzing, and presenting information. I love how easy it is to customize formulas and automated workflows. It is extremely user-friendly and easy to learn. I also value the ability to create visually appealing dashboards that automatically update with new data in real-time. I have found a multitude of uses for SmartSheet in our team's office. Thank you, SmartSheet!
