Incredibly effective and easy-to-use project management tool!
What do you like best about the product?
When it comes to project management, Smartsheet is an extremely valuable tool with endless possibilities. From building basic project trackers, to generating reports and calendar views, Smartsheet provides everything you'd expect to need and more. And the best part is that it's completely intuitive and easy to use. Similar to excel, Smartsheet allows you to automate, filter, and sort your data, but in a much more simplified way. You can also use the dashboard and calendar functions to create a "one stop-shop" space for your team like a Sharepoint site, and to capture an at-a-glance view of all current projects or items on your radar. Smartsheet has definitely improved the way my department operates and manages projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
If there's anything I'd like to see improved with Smartsheet, it would be it's compatibility with Outlook. It's possible that I just need to do more research and experimenting, but I have yet to figure out a way to connect my Smartsheet calendar to my Outlook calendar in a way that is organized and displays the information I am looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to using Smartsheet, my team primarily relied on Microsoft Excel as a project tracking tool. While Excel obviously has it's strengths, it wasn't the most helpful for project management purposes, mainly in that our information was not readily visible or easy to see. By transitioning to Smartsheet, we were able to solve this problem by utilizing the different views and creating subtasks in the grid view to create project trackers that provide that at-a-glance view of all the essential project details. We even have a way to pull project details/information from across various different projects, via Smartsheet's reporting function. Being able to organize our information in this way has been an immense help, especially when work is busy and we have numerous projects to oversee.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Smartsheets supports and ease of real time collaboration, template creation and customization, and automation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up the formulas is definitly a bit complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Smartsheet primarily to record our monetary deposits and relevant infomation as well as our in depth finanical information on our Private Revenue Tracker. Smartsheets benefits us because there are multiple individuals within seperate divisions who need access to our financial infomation and the collaborative ease of Smartsheets allows us to communicate and keep information up to date without any hassle.
Great tool for managing a variety of Projects across a varied team
What do you like best about the product?
Setting up sheets is easy an intuitive and the ability to create links between sheets to create interlinked projects is great. One feature that we have used is the ability to create dashboards to get larger views of progress and give stakeholders a greater understanding of current progress and any delivery risks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some basic formatting options are missing. Being able to controll the color and thickness of the grid lines would be a great feature to have. Reports are nice, but having to use the formatting from the sheet(s) it references can be a problem if there is not a consistent setup across any reference sheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to have visibility of the entirety of a project and other tasks that are assigned to people, as well as utilizing the forms to allow people outside of our group to request work from us has greatly enabled us to provide updates and results to all of our various stakeholders.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the abililty to make dashboards and show my team all of the information they want to see.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet can be a little finicky. It's challenging at times when a link gets broken and you have to go back and find where that happened.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest probalem it's solving is by being a project management software we can use organization wide tha we didn't have previously.
Smartsheet is a solid tool, but could use improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to have mulitple collaborators working on the same document, allowing for real-time updates and efficient workflow, similar to other organization platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I will say, one thing I think could be improved is the saving feature - I wish this was automated like Google Docs and Sharepoint rather than having to manually save.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps my organization maintain a centralized database of assets that can be shared across different teams, i.e. Product, IT, Marketing, Finance, Legal, etc. It helps us be more efficient and productive as we can always count on our collaboarative smartsheets to be updated without the process of manually requesting access.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and simplicity. Creates very visually pleasing reports. Automation feature is a great asset but could use more features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some functions are just too rigid. Some formulas are not available that are common in Excel. Filter function gets confused sometimes. When I track something in a sheet, the rules are too restrictive to allow me to highlight multiple values.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating shipping request functions into one location instead of a bunch of emails. RFQ tracking is a great tool that helps capture all the data I need to keep track of costs.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked how everyone in the team can access the platform and edit their relevant tasks rather than the burden fall on one individual.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pulling the gant chart into a shareable document/visual can be difficult as they have to spend a while playing around with different formatting options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me to track the delivery of workstreams happening across the team, highlighting the critical path and showing where resources are being used most intensively.

What do you like best about the product?
That it is online, that it can show what has recently been modified, that it has options to change appearance based on status of issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can grow complicated quite easily and you have to with all users agree on, and stick to, the Rules of Usage"
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rather than exchanging "issue lists" in Excel having the list online helps a lot. And the option to share images in issues, and attach files to the issues is also useful (although using attachments too much may be quite dangerous and require proper management)
Newly-known and super effective software to solve manual and administrative tasks
What do you like best about the product?
Although I am only a collaborator, love the all the automation festures this offer, reminders sent to my emails that requires actions and notifications on the progresss where someone else in the team give input.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes this sheet take a whole to load, or could not load at all, so I need to clear cache in the browser and restart so it could work again.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This helps remind me to actions, i.e. when other team members finish their part, the software will send me emails to notify, so I could go and start working on my part. It also often remind me to do the task as well when the task sliped my mind during peak period.
The software also has mobile version so I could work flexibly even while I am on at my desk.

helpful, user friendly, better workflow
What do you like best about the product?
it is webased and has the main project management tools that are needed for better planing, executing and monitoring a project. It is also very helpful in organizing workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
The baseline function has be luckily added to smartsheer however it isn ot yet clear on the gant charts how to visualize the drift in case it happens. Many steps seems to be still manual and cannot be automated.

Smrtasheet is allowing me to bild, rveiw and import gants charts. it helps me planing the project and also keep track of it's execution. Smartsheet is also a helpful tasl management tool, helps me team getting organized and is being used during our regular tasks calls.
