Overall, a very powerful and capable project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to build out multi-layer, complex project plans. Smartsheet provides a simple but very effective way to document tasks and sub-tasks that all roll up to a larger effort or project and also provides a super simple method of document storage/management.
What do you dislike about the product?
From a project management perspective, the most apparent capability currently lacking is a streamlined method to set "dependencies" for various tasks that will show users what tasks are ready to start vs. those that are waiting for another task to be completed "at-a-glance." It's very easy to set up a field where you can designate a task as "complete" and even have Smartsheet notify the person who is "next up," but creating that "at-a-glance" view of tasks that are ready to start requires a fair bit of manual configuration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smarsheet helps our business solve cross-collaboration difficulties. We work very closely with another business on behalf of clients, and we needed a single, centralized platform that all members of the project team across both companies could utilize. Smartsheet has given our company the adaptability needed to easily share project plans and documents with our partners instead of relying on email to send documents back and forth each time there are updates made.
Smartsheet is a must-have in my daily toolkit for collaboration and planning.

No matter what task we're working on, Smartsheet is a versatile tool that effortlessly adjusts to our company's needs. It helps ensure a smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
A great way to share data within a team
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to share sheets and be able to work on them at the same time is invaluable. There are a plethora of different sheet setups that one can create to tailor it to a project of your choosing.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a high learning curve to use some of the more in-depth features and take full advantage of all of the abilities Smartsheet offers. It's also more tailored towards a business setting as opposed to a laboratory setting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is allowing our team to be able to track the progression of project implementation very concisely and well. We are able to store all of the relavant information in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a good timeline management tool for groups. I like that team members can be assigned to different tasks and everyone can view progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I have to manually save changes often as to not lose any information. An auto-save feature would be great! I also wish there were different ways to view the timeline and tasks as they are completed vs. a list.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Smartsheet is how it streamlines the treat of managing single projects as easily as total portfolios. The program is simple to deploy, making it convenient for teammates who may not be tech-savvy. It allows us to prepare tasks, deadlines and yet attach files too right in the program, which is really handy for very warm access to vital info. Smartsheet is specially efective for keeping track of our sales metrics, so everyone knows where we stand against our targets. I also apreciate the templates, which yield us a honest starting point and preserve time in scope up new projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike most Smartsheet is the very steep learning curve it presents. Even though the programme is well-designed, the background knowledge required to full utilize its features can be a barrier, especially when we are talking almost preserve money without hiring an outdoors company to learn the team how to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has been instrumental in solving the issuing of project direction scattering. Now, all relevant info is centralized, leading to less confusion and faster decision-making. This very straight benefits me as it simplifies coordination, so I can focusing on strategic initiatives instead of getting bogged downward in administrative tasks.

Everything, with Smartsheet I've been able to follow up on projects, show information to our superiors, and collaborate with different teams across the company to get tasks done quickly
What do you dislike about the product?
We're very pleased with Smartsheet, I think there is no issue at the moment we dislike, maybe some functions that are restricted (because of the plan we have), but would be a nice way to have those tools and maybe upgrade our plan
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The possibility to work together with different teams, upload documents, and know precisely when someone makes changes to the spreadsheet, Our performance has increased dramatically after we started using Smartsheet

The only negative point is that it is not so easy to sue, you need to se some tutorials or have some time to dig and get the tool that you are looking for

The reminders that smartsheet sendd for each of the pending activities for the project team are a bonus and the automatic gant chart creation is excelent for every project managment

What do you dislike about the product?
Not everyone loves having to log into a web-based platform to perform their work.
I really don't see many other downsides, I have used SmartSheets on all of my projects and even in partnership with external vendors on large projects.

Smartsheet allows my teams to access real-time data and relevant information at their convenience.
Any updates I make are immediately viewable to the entire team, I don't have to constatntly be sending updated versions or projects plans, dashboards, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the simple design as well as the user-friendly dashboards and menus. They really make it easy and simple to find your way through the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
The formulas are a little difficult to master, but once you do things go a lot smoother.

It allows our company to keep a collective of all important spreadsheets and information all in one easy and accessible place.
