What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I have not yet experienced a that much of a difficulty or dislike that needs addressing. Smartsheet is productive.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is an excellent tool for collaboration. With its ability to enable multiple users to work on a sheet simultaneously, managing projects and sharing information in real-time becomes a breeze. This feature significantly enhances communication and efficiency within our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet provides mobile applications for iOS and Android, however, I noticed the functionality of the mobile apps is not as extensive as the desktop version. This can be a disadvantage for teams that heavily depend on mobile devices for their work.

Smartsheet provides a flexible and customizable platform that allows me to customize everything according to our specific requirements. This ensures that the tool perfectly aligns with our organization, ultimately enhancing overall efficiency.

What do you like best about the product?
That it shows the timeline of any task. This feature makes it better than Excel for time tracking

The space in each cell is very sacecoius. It doesn't have Autosave, or at least the sheet I was working didn't have that.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and share projects. It has made the proofing process much quicker and much easier to manage. Having a central place for people to provide feedback has really been a game changer for reviewing and approving collateral.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little complex and difficult to use. It's not always clear how to do things, so you really need some training before you can use the tool effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to using SmartSheet our marketing team would email assets back and forth with changes and edits and track approvals via email. Things were always getting lost, missed, or forgotten, and our email inboxes were always getting full. SmartSheet has centralized that entire process and eliminated most of the friction we experienced, making those reviews much quicker and more effective.
Better than regular spreadsheets!
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of creating forms and automation with spreadsheets. I am able to utilize the workflows in SmartSheet and outside automation vendors like Zapier to have rows auto fill or e-mail other people.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a manual task to create relationships between multiple SmartSheets. The formulas avaliable are not nrearly as complex as what can be done for other spreadsheet software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped our HD team ensure they have setup a machine properly. It helps management by letting them know whether or not the HD team has performed all required tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to have different views from the data input (ie. Gnatt charts) and the ability to have sheets feed other sheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
The funtionality to have sheets feed bi-directional. Wish there were some more filters around color coding column backgrounds.

Solving tracking and management of projects across multiple departments in a locked down confidential way.
SmartSheet: The quality option for moving to online data handling
What do you like best about the product?
SmartSheet provides a quality transistion from excel-based data storage, handling, and analysis that is easy for users who are familiar with Excel to transition to and intitvely understand. It's still familiar enough for users to quickly get the hang of using the tool, while offering enough new features (and avioding the problems of passing around excel files over email) that it make it a worthwhile alternative.
What do you dislike about the product?
SmartSheet lacks some of the more complex visuals availablein products like Power BI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SmartSheet helps with a myriad of issues, particularly when live online colloboration between peers is needed.. Some examples I have used it for include: creating project managament tools for diffrent teams that allow quick access for collegues and leadership, repositories that allow multiple teams to easily store and refrence business critical datasets, and task managers that dicdate a team's weekly work schedule and prioritization.

What do you like best about the product?
We were able to build customized solutions that best fit our organizations needs, for various departments. Each sheet we were able to assign to individuals across multiple departments & georgrahpic locations, and build out reports based on their work loads.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the visuals and dashboard designs could be slightly more user friendly. Our ELT doesn't need to see all the day to day low level issues, just the highlighted ones that require decision making on. Also ways to present trends and graphs in a more user friendly way
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
being able to connect numerous departments, by assigning daily activity and taks (especially with a hybrid workforce) has been critical for our companies success.

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Smartsheet: its adaptability in overseeing various projects and comprehensive portfolios. Using the program, I am able to use a wide variety of pre-existing templates that I can tailor to streamline my workflow. Enhancing process assignments through effective monitoring, it can oversee tasks with skill. Robust and providing real-time data, the dashboards are essential for informed decision-making. By streamlining project management with Smartsheet, we can free up time to concentrate on high-level objectives.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet struggles with complex formulas. Large datasets may exceed the data sheet's storage capacity, requiring regular refreshment to display the data accurately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improving work processes within fragmented job environments, Smartsheet acts as a seamless integrator. Efficiency gains result from having all tasks and projects integrated into a single system. Eliminating manual processes through automation allows the team to reallocate time productively.
