Streamline Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
There is a low learning curve and high reward with Smartsheet. It is a great organization and project management tool. The interface is aesthetically pleasing and easy to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
More organizations need to be aware of and accustomed to the program so there can be more cross-collaboration with outside agencies. This would be particularly useful for AEC firms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps me with task management, project tracking and general organization. It is a great visualization tool to keep projects on track.
Excellent Platform Experience
What do you like best about the product?
My experience with this platform has been nothing short of exceptional. Its user-friendly interface, extensive features, high-quality content, and excellent customer support make it a standout. If you're looking for a platform that goes above and beyond, I highly recommend giving smartsheets a try.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not dislike anything. Smartsheets truly works for our event content needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets allows our company and colleagues to work efficently. We usually say smartsheets is google sheets and excel on steriods. It truly allows to plan, capture and execute our events in an organized and collaborative way.
Intuitive tool to keep our team organized
What do you like best about the product?
It is intuitive and requires minimal training to get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the more advanced functionality requires training for our project managers. This makes sense, but there is a learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps our whole team connected and organized utilizing a single source to avoid version control.
Helpful, but has room for improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is most helpful for project planning and tracking - from large organizational projects to smaller workstreams across teams. It's nice to be able to switch between different views and collaborate on one sheet together.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside I found when using Smartsheet was working to create dashboards or report out on the information within a specific project. The dashboard capability could use some investment and improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is working to help keep everyone on my team on the same page, up to date with where the project is at, who the owners are, etc. This makes it easier to give timely updates when requested by leadership.
Smartsheet has made a great improvement for our company in many areas.
What do you like best about the product?
That it shows a date and time when something was uploaded. Good for quality control

What do you dislike about the product?
It does not have resource budget sheets like Microsoft project does that would calculate variance on the basic version so as a Project Manager I still use Microsoft Project for our planning and Gantt charts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The search grouping feature that was added was a nice benefit because we use a lot of sheets and the search bar is my most common go to so having the relationship listed has been helpful.
Endless possibilites
What do you like best about the product?
There are so many possibilites and it is fairly intuitive to use. The workflows are a great idea and can be very helpful to automate data with minimal user involvement.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there's many things that could be helpful that I don't know about and I find the workflows can be confusing and don't always work as expected. I find that formulas are not very intuitive to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A lot of data can be automated and it minimizes the time spent looking for data. Information can be easily found especially when formatting is used to color code the data.
Smartsheets has done wonders to make our processes more efficient.
What do you like best about the product?
The automations are amazing. It is easy to set up a form or grid without no code and to create using automations using simple logic. The output is a process and workflow that we can trust and build into functional parts of our business processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the exporting pdf function within reports can get better. The reports themselves tend to be beautiful but the pdfs that we export tend to not be as visually appealing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets helps us keep track of certain transactions so that we can keep our processes moving from one step to the next. It's also a great repository of data for us to query from.
The most Advanced Spreadsheet Designed for the Purpose of Managing Project!
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet provides a highly sophisticated analytical reporting feature. This allows for the easy consolidation of vital data from numerous sheets into a single report with just a few clicks. Smartsheet reports work both ways, so any modifications made in a report are instantly reflected in other linked spreadsheets. Also, it's level of customization is remarkable. I appreciate its user-friendly point-and-click interface, and I'm also fond of the fact that there's a community where I can seek assistance.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Smartsheet fulfills all our requirements, it lacks the built-in-functionality of automatically saving my modifications or updating my sheets in real-time to immediately reflect the edits I make.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us to manage our project management and collaboration effectively and also tackles a wide array of challenges and issues across our organization and operational areas.
Not extremely user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
How organized it can be, you can choose differnt drop downs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is glitchy, doesn't automatically save, and when you copy and paste it can be very easy to mess up the endtire thing with no reliable undo button.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is allowing me a way to plan out our content calendar with useful dropdowns.
