A flexible, collaborative planning platform
What do you like best about the product?
It's flexible and reasonably intuitive for meeting many planning needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been some constraints that prevent developing the toolset needed.

What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful to have a few more similar features that excel has when using the graph section. For example, freezing rows or columns and allowing scrolling from those sections, formulas being easily transferable between the platforms if possible.
Extending the limit of spreadsheets, minimising the need to have multiple spreadsheets to include large sums of data. Can unforuntately make it more complicated when going in between a few different pages.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to share monthly data outputs to a large variety of stakeholders in the business. It enables the end user to select the relevant data to themselves and can retrieve purposeful information, while excluding unneccessary information.

What do you like best about the product?
Finding a useful project direction tool proved challenging for me until Smartsheet. Automated functionalities help identify and simplify resource-intensive activities in workflows. Made easy thanks to its natural intuitiveness, adjustments can be performed with ease. For those familiar with the steep learning curves of alternative technologies, SmartSheet has much broader appeal.
What do you dislike about the product?
The weight of Smartsheet's responsibility can be taxing at times, likened to being constantly forced into 'babe-like' poses. Unfailing maintenance guarantees its functionality and efficiency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Digital project management has received a considerable boost from Smartsheet. Streamlining our operations has resulted in less human intervention to a substantial extent. Efficiency growth enables broad strategic thinking.
Great for database and automation

Automation is awesome, reporting part and dashboards are nice

Becomes a bit slow when using long database

What do you like best about the product?
The way you can create reports so easily and turn those into graphics without taking a lot of time. The dashboards have been so helpful in making decisions regarding our finances and other KPIs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike not being able to copy and paste more than 500 rows since most of our databases have more information than this, the same happens whenever I want to copy and paste more columns, the limit for references, also, I am not able to calculate time which for my reports it's very necessary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By letting me know when something is wrong using automation, it has helped save a lot of money by being able to know the information daily since there's a lot of data that we wouldn't have been able to know that fast.
SmartSheets manages my daily tasks
What do you like best about the product?
SmartSheets allows me to take all my data and merge it into nice platforms that are viewer friendly. It is easy to use. If you can work excel, you can work SmartSheets, but you get better benefits and more capabilities. I use reports to help manage my tasks, see where I am within a project, or to view my sheets in specific formats.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how you cannot create stored contact lists or drop down lists within an entire workspace. It would be time saving if you were allowed to store lists you use for multiple worksheets instead of having to add contacts in every sheet or copy and pasts dropdowns for every sheet when something changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business is in the process of merging systems and SmartSheets has allowed us to take different information from different platforms and merge the data so that our account managers and sales reps can easily see their account overviews and keep them on track with spending opportunitites and payouts.
Great platform for multi corporation collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Multi-organizational collabortation. Smart sheet is very intuitive and has been instrumental in tracking and keeping up with concerns for large data gaps. I find smartsheet much better than the google suite because of its collaboration ability.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont have many downsides but one would be the calendar view data entry. When in calendar view it would be helpful to be able to enter an event without having to switch back to grid view. We use this for a team calendar of PTO and switching to the grid view to add an entry can be lost or not easily manipulated from the calendar view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of ongoing deficiencies identified in the field that our team and contractor can see. This helps productivity and allows for direct and simple communication.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the user friendliness and the ease of the go between the app and the online portal. It's easy to train new users as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could receive specific training on the best way to submit our non profit donors year end giving statements at the end of the year.

Smartsheet is a Game Changer for Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet allows are team to collaborate in real time and provide key metrics and progress to our most important clients. Accurate data in the procurement and logistics field is crucial and Smartsheet solves the problem of quickly outdated Excel reports.
The dashboard functionality ensures that our data can then be easily digested and actioned upon and has increased our efficiency and productivity tremendously.

What do you dislike about the product?
We love the ability to upload documents to various lines in the sheet, but if the same document needs to be attached to multiple lines there isn't currently a way to do a mass upload. This can sometime be time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a medical equipment planning consultant we are working with vasts amount of data tracking all equipment going into hospitals and medical office buildings. Smartsheet allows us to create room by room reports to manage the process flow from PO issuance through deployment. Since this often requires a team effort, Smartsheet is the perfect tool for multiple users working on the same project.
Good Product but can use some improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Great product to keep everyone involved with projects. Easy to use once sheets are created for the end user. Once you learn the back end, its simple to create a sheet but took some time to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
Needs some help on the automations, if there can be a test section that get sent to the emails, that would be very helpful. Currently, I try to see if i get the right email notifications, but have to wait until a certain time inorder to see if it worked or not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communications within inner departments. I create sheets to make sure all departments are aware of the project, timeline and tasks needed to be completed. This helps all department heads aware of the tasks being completed by their department.
