The ability to use across all stakeholders and in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to use create Kan Ban spreadsheets. The function in the Gaant spread sheet doesn't allow for me to account for delays in the project.

Smartsheet struggles with complexity for beginners, advanced functionality limitations compared to specialized tools, pricing concerns for larger teams, spotty offline access, customization learning curves, integration complexity requiring technical expertise, mobile app feature limitations, constrained analytics capabilities, inconsistent customer support, and scalability challenges with large complex projects.
However, the product is continuously evolving, so some of these issues may have already been addressed or improved. Organizations should carefully evaluate the latest version relative to their specific needs when adopting Smartsheet.

What do you like best about the product?
Project management capabilities and the flexibility to create systems that can add value and save time for businesses. I use smartsheet to automate approvals of quality tasks and am a huge fan of the audit trail f
What do you dislike about the product?
What causes me issues the most is probably the consistency of the time taken for automations. Sometimes approval requests, update requests, alerts, etc can take longer than expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has allowed my team to keep their own tasks updated easily. It has enabled more precise task tracking and reporting for me as a project manager. The reporting dashboards being automated is good for vertical reporting also

Gantt view to be presented to management is not sufficiant in terms of visuals.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet Reports with current user filtering makes it possible for users to work though a single report to ensure they see what they need to when they need to. This window into every relevant cell is a gamechanger and allows quick edits of all required fields.
What do you dislike about the product?
With so many features it's easy to to over complicate solutions. We keep this simple by standardizing what we can and ensuring we stick to SSOT principles. Once levergaged to correcty there is very little to dislike. If used incorrectly users will have a very difficult time with spam like emails that make little sense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We run everything though Smartsheet, from Meetings to document management. Smartsheet also continually refines old and release new features which in turn leads to downstream efficiencies. Looking forward to see what the future holds.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to indent and hide sub-information is a very powerful feature, let alone integrate a Gantt chart with conditional formatting makes for a great package.
What do you dislike about the product?
The amount of rows tends to run out a fair bit if you make use of child cells that feed data to parent rows. I believe it is limited to 5k and I tend to hit that fairly regularly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mutch greater power and flexibility than conventional spreadsheets and the ability to break things down with the ability to collapse means you can get an eagle-eye view and then drill down when needed.

I find the Smartsheet mobile app to be excellently designed. It allows us to access our projects while we're on the move, which is crucial because some of our team members are frequently out of the office. This feature has significantly enhanced our flexibility and responsiveness.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the file attachment feature is helpful, it could benefit from some improvements. One specific area that needs attention is the limit on file size, as it can pose a challenge when working with larger documents or media files.
