Smartsheet Software- Excellent Tool
What do you like best about the product?
For me one of the best features is that it is user-friendly, if you know Excel this is just a version of that just fancier. I love that you can create dashboards and customize them to fit the branding and that it is simple to do this. We have been able to incorporate Dynamic View which has been wonderful to have groups work from it but yet control what is visible. Customizing reports, linking data from different sheets, and I absolutely love the Calendar App. We are currently using all of these tools extensively and it has transformed not only how we report but how we make decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont like that I still have to use a different software to create for example QR codes, or that it doesnt send out invites like you do with Outlook. If the sofware would be able to do these two things alone would completely make Smartsheet our main software for most of our business meetings. There is very little I dislike about Smartsheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Incorporating smartsheet has improved efficiency, productivity, decision-making, and reporting, and more than anything it has helped staff take the initiative to create their own stuff to help them on their projects because its so user friendly. They provide videos, one one-on-one consultations, community blogs just a lot of support to gradually become an expert in their software. Automating has made our work so much easier, tracking tasks, process improvement and project management has absolutely changed our areas.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, collaborate + attachments can also be added. In addition, automated notifications/reminders and the ability to tag a colleague to a message/action item is helpful, rather than exiting the application and sending a separate e-mail.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many notifications. Once I mentioned this to the PM, I was working with they were unaware of this issue and were able to adjust it, so seems like a simple training issue
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used it for two different projects: One was typical Proj Mgmt - so report/dashboard was a great benefit to show management for executive updates; Second was using it as an interim contract management tracking tool - ability to add attachments and add workflow here was a great benefit.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet helps me a lot to perform my daily obligations because of its flexibility and variety, cooperation and communication, and, notably, automation and integrations. The platform provides a wide range of customizable templates, making it suitable for a variety of industries and project types. The ability to create Gantt diagrams, Kanban boards, and dynamic calendars provides a complete general description of the project progress and assists the equipment in remaining organized. Furthermore, smartsheet's integration features with other popular applications boost workflow efficiency and data management speed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet sometimes takes a long time to charge or is very slow, the program is not updated, and I have to close and reload it multiple times throughout the day. One part of smartsheet that I dislike is the lack of flexibility in its online form function, which makes it difficult to create several rows from a single shipment. This constraint might be aggravating when dealing with huge volumes of data or attempting to capture several entries in a single form shipment.

Smartsheet has helped our organization manage activities, schedules, and projects successfully by making it easy to do repetitive operations, monitor projects, and integrate third-party apps. Smartsheet solves the problems of efficient project management, collaboration, and data organization; their versatile functions and customizable templates speed up task monitoring, improve equipment coordination, and provide a comprehensive general description of project progress. This benefit enables me to keep organized, enhance productivity, and successfully manage tasks, resulting in better efficiency and success.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating a live and collbartive timeline that can be viewed in all its fanstaic detail, or as a snapshot for higher level stakeholders.
User Friendly and Powerful Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I am able to keep track of my whole project lifecycle and in a single platform do multiple things which reduces alot of repeated manual process and allow me to manage my project effieciently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the things are hard ro understand and take a steep learning curve to undertsand. Also, was trying out one feature document builder but apparently it did not work and keep showing error.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managent of flow and smooth interaction between different parties. It automates alot of my things in the project and make a good summary of all the works that i have been doing.
Useful Tool for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
We have found that the card feature is very helpful for organization within our projects since it is very easy to reorder and reclassify each card. It's also very useful to be able to attach documents to each row.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sheets do not allow for tabs within a sheet. You can group sheets by workspace but have to exit the sheet rather then switch between tabs within a sheet. The navigation within Smartsheet took me a little while to get used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows us to move cards around to different assignements and within different orders very quickly and easily. The ability to attach supporting documentation to each row allows ease of reference when issues or questions arise.

What do you like best about the product?
What's not to like about Smartsheet. The ease and versitilty of Smartsheet makes this product the best. I love that you can convert your old excel sheets over to Smartsheet. Dashboards make viewing the data a must have for data and metric collection. I also love the rersources provided to help you learn how to use the product. Smartsheet University is amazing because it walks you through from beginner to expert.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure there is anything that I dislike about Smartsheet. The only downfall would be having to learn new processes. But the resources and Smartsheet University makes learning easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problems that Smartsheet is helping me solve is project management. Smartsheet makes it easy for multiple people to collaborate, make updates as needed and we are able to keep track and on task with our projects.
Solid software with valuable enhancements beyond Google Sheets & Excel
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to attach documents and have conversations pertaining to just one row in the spreadsheet

There is no tab functionality for workbooks
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Smartsheet primarily as a contract tracker as well as a project/task tracker. For these things, it far exceeds anything Excel or G-Sheets can provide.
A great alternative to MSProject
What do you like best about the product?
It's a thin solution that is easy to learn so we can share our project plans with team members quickly and easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up assets with Control Center is a little challenging. We have several complicated templated and hope global updates become easier to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is removing some of the complexities that MSProject has making sharing robust project plans more feasible.

What do you dislike about the product?
Basic graphs for analysis, limitations to automation, copy pasting between sheets is very difficult, no archiving option, limited customization of forms
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Offering centralized and shared inventories that the team can colloborate and maintain simultaneously. Compliance plans, contract management, asset management etc.
