Smartsheet modernizes and removes the frustration of Excel.
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful features for me are the sort and filter options. They allow me to easily find the information and rows I need when searching through very large documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
The current process of viewing and sending/receiving attachments from Smartsheet to other services leaves something to be desired. I'd like better integration with services like Box.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to create custom forms and box labels through the Generate Documents function. I can run my whole inventory system through Smartsheet and have a form create a box label automatically.

What do you like best about the product?
The project scheduling is the best part of the process. Would say that the it's easy to share data among users. I think I like how you can save multiple templates to each other
What do you dislike about the product?
Linking in smartsheet, sometimes you can customize the views. I wish you can disable the arrows, or have a feature that you can turn them off. The Mile stones can be better a;sp

Tracking Contracts & Safety Data Across Multiple Divisions
What do you like best about the product?
I use this to track contracts we have with vendors across our companies many divisions throughout the US & Canada. Having the ability to easily share this data with all my colleagues in real time is a tremendous time saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love for forms that are sent out via Smartsheet to be able to populate specified rows/cells and not just create a new row. Being able to trigger forms to send anually and update that vendors row as opposed to creating a new row would be an amazing feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to have everything tracked and attached in one place, that gets updated in real time that everyone else in my company can view has drastically cut down the need for call/emails to check to see if we already have a contract in place with a vendor or not.
Excellent work management platform
What do you like best about the product?
My organization relies heavily the add-on features Dynamic View and Datamesh.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no foldering system within Datamesh add-on, which makes it extremely difficult to stay organized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Smartsheet for a number of very different processes in our organization from workload assignments to financial reconciliations. The system and its add-ons allow us to be very flexible in our solutions.
Projects & Tasks Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is brilliant. It allows for project planning, task tracking, dashboarding and so much more. It is like Excel on steriods.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to create complex dashboards takes some time to understand, but once you grasp how to do it, it is extremely valuable and fills most dashboarding needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Smartsheet for Project Management, Task Management and to create dahsboards primarily. Smartsheet helps our team be more productive and allows for a streamlined approach.
Superb Project Management with Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet promotes collaboration by allowing multiple users to work on same sheet simultaneously comments, notifications and alerts to keep everyone in loop. Smartsheet allows you to create interactive reports and dashboards, providing a visual overview of your data and project status. You can attach files directly to your sheets, which is helpfull for keeping related documents and resource in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Despite its user friendly interface, beginners employee's may find it somewhat complex, particularly if they are not familiar with project management and spreadsheet softwares.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet time tracking feature is usefull for tracking project hours, task duration and resource allocation. Smartsheet offers an API for custom integration and has a developer friendly eco system.
A perfect Solution for anyone who is a beginner, or advanced and anywhere in between!
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has so many automation features that really just take the manual work from tasks that take up time an eliminates them. Many of the features found in Smartsheet have truly made our teams lives so much easier!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is limited coloring options, and while that sounds small, when you use the dashboards and reports for buisness use, we would like to align them better with our brand standard and can't. In addition, having the ability to only have one sheet at a time is kind of a pain. In Excel, you have the workbook which can have multiple sheets in it. With Smartsheet they are each individually their own so going back and forth can be a little cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is helping with Task automation. We have Medical practices that need to receive information based on their patient panel for example, we can set it up to automatically inform them things have been added, without having to send emails!
User friendly, appealing presentation
What do you like best about the product?
I like how it looks. Plain and simple. It's just clean, more visually appealing. I also love the automation tasks and the different cell format options. It is also quite simple to use, which is great for someone like me who is not a spreadsheet guru.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some automation tasks that aren't available that, in my brain, seem like would be simple to include. But I don't really see this as a "dislike" more as a "it'd be nice if that were available".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is allowing my team to actively keep track of processes in real time, in a shareable format. It is a quick and easy tool to see where we're at with certain steps and allows us to quickly identify if something has been missed.
Very effect and the App is great
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet allows me to organize my day and create documents with live updates. I am allowed to share my documents with multiple people for collaboration, but I am also allowed to restrict levels of access.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much I dislike with smartheey. The mobile version has limited viewing, but that could be the device I am using.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overseeing 65 technologists throughout the NYC region, having access to their assigned locations in the palm of my hand is crucial. I am able to manage their schedules and they get the update live is extremely helpful.
