Nice easy tool between complex project management tool and Excel
What do you like best about the product?
It is really easy to build a project schedule and also change the view type from table to Gantt chart. It is also easy to collaborate on the same project and share the informations.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is sometime hard to move line where you want, to order the step in your project. But you get use to it and at the end you have a nice results. Would be good also to have more formula options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a easy tools for collaborate and share informations. Also a nice tool to follow a schedule and make sure the project is right on track. Could also be use as a simple to do list.
Better Version of Excel in some ways and not in others
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to put notes on specific rows and add documents to rows as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
When pulling down to copy, it doesnt give options like Excel does. So far that is my only complaint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to attach PDF's to rows has been very helpful in keeping things organized.
Smartsheets is a great tool to use!
What do you like best about the product?
The Smartsheet Representatives are very helpful and will become involved in your projects if you need support. The online videos are very helpful too. I've used another tool which is good, but I prefer the user interface of Smartsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't been able to successfully create a meaningful Summary Report of my data. I'm not sure if there is a way to do it or not, based on the tools available to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for Field People or even Customers to use to get a process done, and to track the data to completion. The Project Managers Love it!
User Friendly with Frequent Updates
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Smartsheet is an online platform with multiple ways for others to contribute to sheets you build. Creating a dashboard, report, and other functionalities are very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more fonts and color customizations for all components of dashboards and sheets. I also wish you could embed a sheet on a dashboard without seeing all of top ribbon functionalities of that sheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet keeps all of my important files in one location while also allowing others to easily be shared to documents they need access to. It also has many functionalities for formulas that help to automate some of the work I do. In return, I get time back in my day.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the straightforwardness presented by Smartsheet. The test I have with cutting-edge project devices is that frequently they eliminate with their size—only one out of every odd undertaking is a billion-dollar drive. That is where I rest on Smartsheet - when I want to adjust individuals about a drive, to follow and relegate liabilities, we work with Jira tickets and I can undoubtedly glue related connections to the arrangement - this in an easy-to-use way.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm going to have to investigate the tool to its maximum capacity by adding mechanization work processes that will save loads of time. In any case, without the extra time, learning extra features is extremely difficult. The main genuine explanation I am changing to different tools is the point at which I want to follow spending plans and oversee assets in my task (basically I found no device that would permit me to do that in Smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like that it is a 360-degree application. You can gather information through structures, and afterward, the framework tells you of changes or requests for an update or endorsement. And afterward, all of the information is in one spot, so creating dashboards for some significant level administration overviews is exceptionally simple. We as a whole are utilizing Smartsheet. We get the caution and have visibility on what's occurring on other sites, and we have a dashboard for the board to check at whatever point they need with no requirement for various messages and unending correspondence. That is one issue, and I can go endlessly on another issue that Smartsheet is settling for us. It's a strong choice and the same as success. The commonality helps in completely figuring out it. Creating an excellent resource of collected Team Data
What do you like best about the product?
The aspect of sharing/organizing of collected data upon multiple variances and aspects with the ability to include automation when compared to old processes my company used... MS Access, as an example. The learning curve also seems faster than when using MS Access for the multiple pieces of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sole aspect of multiple users updating data at once in a short period of time. And the limited ability to see when updates were done, or when other users update data, which I know can be done by row, but by the overall smartsheet (i.e. deleting columns, deleting rows). Also the limitation of data allowed per smartsheet. specifically the 500,000 cell limit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The added benefit of automation in comparison to old processes my company used (MS Access or just using a bunch of random Excels which result in the difficulty of knowing which data is correct) has resulted in much time saved for routine updates so then I can actually focus on my normal work.

Its assisting me in arranging my day to day task in a proper workflow, without any bottlenecks. my files are nolonger easily accessed by just anyone but those i would have given access to.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is easily customizable and transparent. It also helps with accountability issues which drive efficiency in our organization. It makes the team more productive, unlike other apps/systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheets it difficult to learn and need vast experience to understand. It takes time to master. Smartsheets can and should introduce courses to help users understand it more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has helped us streamline our project management and this has helped us centralize our projects, creating accountability and order in operation. This has increased our project success rates by over 50%

In the majority of cases, we use this software for tracking documents related to ongoing processes and occasionally for task management.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is incredibly user friendly; it's the standard anymore for all projects at my company... small to large and everything in between. Tech support has been pretty great to work with as well, when going through various issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the account management functionality is not great for an enterprise company, but I believe it is getting better. I think if they continue to mature that side of things, it will only get better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing our project work is the primary function we use Smartsheet for.
