Smartsheet helped me learn how to manage my tasks better
What do you like best about the product?
The visual dashboards provided by Smartsheet have been incredibly transformative for us. They provide a clear and visual representation of our project's progress, revolutionizing the way we monitor and understand our workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my personal experience, I've noticed that Smartsheet could improve its alert system. Sometimes, the frequent notifications can become quite bothersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By utilizing Smartsheet, our team benefits from seamless real-time collaboration. This fosters a culture of prompt feedback exchange and facilitates more efficient decision-making processes. Consequently, we establish clear alignment among team members and promptly tackle any challenges or concerns that may arise.
I started smartsheet as a tool for creating dashboards and today it is my project management tool.
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of using spreadsheets and the ease of creating dashboards.

There are limitations regarding editing reports and graphs.

Smartsheet met the need for a project management tool and became the solution for presenting data (dashboards) in a simple and practical way, with user-friendly navigation.
Enhancing Productivity with Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet grid view is similar to spreadsheet and provide a familiar interface for work management, which assist to create, manage, organize tasks and data. It provides card view to visualize tasks and projects as card, which is helping for managing and prioritizing work, especially for team using agile methodologies. Smartsheet includes GANTT Chart facilities for visulaizing project timelines, dependencies and critical paths, its usefull for project planning and tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up and managing integration with third party applications and services can some time be challenging, this requires technical expertise to deploy tool on all organizational system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet excels at project management. It helps team plan, track and execute projects efficiently. We can use it to create GANTT Charts, set dependencies, allocate resources and ensure tasks are completed on time. You can also set priorities, assign tasks to team members and track progress in real-time, ensuring that every one is on same page.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has helped us to centralize our project management data into one location and through that we have created operational consistency and better predictability.
Smartsheet has reduced time spent on re-creating schedules. It has also allowed us to provide visibility into project information for project teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
Other teams we work with have also adopted the tool, so now we are able to leverage shared data and learn from one another.

What do you dislike about the product?
The tool is very robust and it can often feel overwhelming.
Formulas and metric sheets for reporting can feel cumbersome and time-consuming.
The graphic interface can sometimes be a deterrent to creative teams; it's not as sleek or visually pleasing as competing project management tools.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows us to document our project schedules and resources allocated to the work. It also provides us with a view of all projects on deck, in-progress, and completed. It also serves as a tool for stakeholders to brief in new requests.
Great for teams who need more than Excel and are on the go.
What do you like best about the product?
We needed something team members could access on the go, with real time updates. It has so many more features and options than we use, but as we grow our builing company we use more and more features. We can create folders and fiels within keeping each job clean, separate, and organized. We love it!

It does not have a keyword search button for just the file you are in. It searches all files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed something sharable in real time, vs.Excel where you have to eamil attachements. We can share this easily with subs and it has great features for tra king each builds To-Dos, progress, and budgets.

What do you like best about the product?
That it is the perfect marriage between excel and project management softwares similar to Asana. It allows for you to view a dataset from multiple lenses and extract insights that you wouldn't likely see through Excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
One dissapointing thing is there are several functions that we would like to implement that Smartsheet does not implement. For example when you export a grouped report, it sends in a dataset rather than grouped like it is before you export.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows us to have multiple construction schedules that pull into one report. From that report, it is easy to modify each of the individual datasets that make up the report.
Smartsheet does make it much easier for organizing multiple projects and teamwork!

I like the user interface and the easiest way for managing multiple projects and keep everyone in the same page!
What do you dislike about the product?
For editing part, I hope it will fully inline with the setup of MS office. The current version is not providing enought.

The smartsheet make it much easier for managing multiple projects with enhanced efficiency. Sharing information become much easier than ever!

What do you like best about the product?
First and foremost, It is easy to learn and use. It is a fabulous tool for oganizing, tracking progress and survyeing for various marketing and event projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't one thing I dislike about Smartsheet. I've been using it in a marketing capacity/team enviorment for the past ten years. It is a wonderful tool no matter how large or small your marketing group is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Oranziation and communication. It allows our marketing team to better support sales with developing materials that our within brand guidelines. It allows us transparency with production timelines. It is a meaningul tool with project collaboration and visiblity. We also use the forms capability for events and surveys.
I love SmartSheets and all of the capabilities.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how everything works well together. Its simple to pull data from other sheets to provide outcomes into one sheet and love the summary option. I also really like how the summary will show in reports for the Dashboard options.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how in reports it will not automatically update the columns if a name is changed or data option is changed for example if a dropdown seleciton changes from drop down to text. You have to go in and remove the previous column set up and reselect it from the show columns option in order to update it. It makes for a lot of rework. I also wish there was an option in the workflows to customize the text like bold, italic, strike through, font color, size, highlight.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its solving the need to do a lot of manual work within other applications. It helps reduce the time needed to create a report when requested with data that already exists in smartsheets now with any intake process.

What do you like best about the product?
As long as the right information is input, the smartsheet runs like clockwork.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes loads slowly, hard to copy information out of cells to another document.
