My Smartsheets Experience
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the structured design and the integration with forms. The Excel-like format is particularly helpful as it provides a clear list view of tickets, making it easier to prioritize requests based on their importance. I also love the flexibility to customize the interface and options to suit my needs
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing stopping me from the 10 is how the system is down and unavailable at times .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They offer seminars designed to help users navigate the product effectively. I’ve noticed that, after updates, significant effort is often put into making the interface more user-friendly

I like how I can customize and manage my projects with ease.

Unfamiliar interface especially when you are used to using excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It improves how we organize tasks and helps to track key performance indicators, keeping all team members updated.

Record keeping and tracking, task management, audit trail, and can be shared amongst users.

Can not access it offline, it needs the internet always. Had a challenge to recover deleted data.

Record keeping for audit trail and task management - especially during integration.

* Great user management and the ability to share both within and outside of the organization

* Very easy to generate forms and use them in order to dynamically fill data in sheets

What do you dislike about the product?
* Some things that are easy to do with Excel formulas are hard (or impossible) with Smartsheet formulas.
* There is no internal scripting engine so if you want to go a bit "out of the box you have an issue". One workaround to this is that the data can easily be accessed with the API and from there you can use any scripting language you want.

We manage various aspects of our training business with smarsheet. It is used for quite a variety of fields:

Post course surveys (using the smartsheet forms)

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Smartsheet due to its resemblance to an enhanced version of Google Sheets. The establishment of a single repository for project information, calendaring, and task assignment proves to be quite advantageous. Furthermore, it is noteworthy that the platform possesses the capability to do data analysis and present it in a graphical format through a dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
One aspect that I find unfavorable about Smartsheet is the considerable amount of time required to acquire proficiency in utilizing its full range of functionalities. This is mostly attributed to the multifaceted nature of the subject matter, necessitating a considerable amount of time and effort to acquire optimal proficiency in its utilization. Furthermore, a notable drawback is the absence of an automatic saving function, akin to the one found in Google Sheets and Docs. In the event that one neglects to save their entered data, they will unfortunately face the consequences.

Within my firm, we utilize Smartsheet as a unified platform to consolidate project information, manage calendars, assign tasks, and gather content.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet allowed our volunteers to connect with several documents, spreadsheets, and forms all located in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one downside was how some of the sheets communicated did not meet our needs. Also if the form could include more than 1 attachment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is removing the human error in our project. When there are so many different variables having everything in one place allows for accountability
Easy to use Software
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is an incredibly amazing scheduling tool with industry-leading Gantt charts, excellent reporting capabilities. Additionally, it has a user-friendly interface. Also, it is great for collaboration among users.

By far from our experience, we have nothing to dislike about Smartsheet.

It helps us to manage and keep track of our projects and manages our tasks accordingly.

Colors and formulas, make it easy to track activities or items for a better follow-up of the daily work

The number of rows per sheet since at some point you need to migrate to a new one.

I really like how you can customise your smartsheets experience.

It would be handy to have the ability to save sheets offline for those moments when a connection isn't available.

Smartsheets helps us to manage all of the projects in our organisation. We benefit from the customisable dashboards which help with monthly reporting and sharing of information to wider stakeholders.
