Handy, Useful, My Go To Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Smartsheet is its ease of use and how simple it is to share projects with my CEO. The number of features available allows me to stay organized and manage a high volume of necessary details. It’s a tool I use frequently throughout the week, and it’s been incredibly helpful in making sure I don’t miss a step. The ease of integration with our existing systems has also made it a seamless part of my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
One challenge I’ve experienced with Smartsheet is that when I’m typing a label or question for a survey, the system occasionally jumps down to the value line. When this happens, I’m unable to input the question unless I log out and reopen in a private tab, which adds unnecessary steps and time to my assignments. While I appreciate the tool overall, I believe improving this would significantly enhance the ease of use and user experience. I rely on Smartsheet frequently, so consistent performance is important to my role.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is helping me solve the challenge of staying organized across multiple projects, teams, and deadlines—especially while supporting an executive and managing deliverables for different departments. It provides a centralized space to track tasks, share updates in real time, and store important project details all in one place.
The biggest benefit for me is the ability to collaborate efficiently, reduce the need for back-and-forth emails, and give my CEO quick visibility into project progress. It’s also helped me prioritize and manage my workload more effectively, which is essential in a fast-paced environment.

I have used Smartsheets for over 10 years and it is a very intuitive PM tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the collaborative features the best allowing me to easily share sheets with others on my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The project schedule sheet is not as intuitive as MS Project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used it as my primary PPM tool. The dashboards functionality allows me to provide real-time updates to leaders.

Smartsheet has been a very helpful tool with automating certain tasks

smartsheet is easy to use and set up. it is nice to have an option to streamline certain tasks without having to use the company's IT department

some times it can take a while to see updates implemented that is seems a lot of customers would like to see

it makes sending information to customers where we need a response fairly easy

What do you like best about the product?
Able to in real time see allocated jobs. Ability to add percentage allocation to each and total commitment.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times it can be a bit slow not sure if this my a personal computer issue but it seems to take a lot of horse power. As an end user not a manager I don’t get alerts quick enough when assigned something.

Ability to see overall work commitments and employee commitments. Able to organize dates and have predecessors to them. Overall able to easily see who is available for a job and easily organize dates.
Impressive Spreadsheet Tool That Covers the Essentials
What do you like best about the product?
The real-time collaboration feature was incredibly smooth and reliable- it made team editing and version control far easier than in Excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Advanced data visualization options felt limited - especially when trying to create dynamic charts or dashboards beyond the basics

As a project and work manager, this software helps streamline how my team tracks timelines, budgets, and task dependencies across multiple projects. It reduces the chaos of version control by allowing everyone to work in the same file simultaneously- which is a huge time-saver during fast-paced planning sessions. I also rely on it for centralized data management and quick reporting, which improves transparency with stakeholders and helps me make faster, data-informed decisions.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has allowed us to automate our internal business processes, from new account onboarding to the creation of new project plans, allowing all parts of the business to focus on making decisions rather than what is the next part of the process.
Its easy to use interface and recognisable formula structure has allowed people to move from using standalone spreadsheets over to an inter-connected and open tool with few problems

What do you dislike about the product?
People with lower computer literacy can be overwhelmed at first when presented by the vast number of uses the tool can be put to, but with a little time and support they can make use of Smartsheet increasing their efficiency.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a solid tool that we use for project management in our company. I work with it on a daily basis and appreciate its simplicity and ease of use. While it may not have all the advanced features of some other platforms, it does a great job covering the essentials.
What do you dislike about the product?
We’ve faced some challenges with its add-ons. We use Resource Manager, but in our experience, it still feels underdeveloped and would benefit from additional polish to be truly solid.
We’ve also tried the Jira Connector and Data Shuttle in the past, but both lacked the flexibility our team needed to integrate them into our workflows.
Additionally, it's disappointing that EU users don’t have access to the same range of templates available to users in the US. This limitation feels unnecessarily restrictive and unfair.

Smartsheet helps us manage multiple new product development projects across our company. It allows us to address resource allocation challenges, stay organized, and keep track of timelines and deliverables. The platform also makes it easy to provide clear, up-to-date data to stakeholders, which improves transparency and decision-making.
Small but Powerful

Great for registers, forms are good, not to hard to learn. excel for words basically

complex formulas are a bit rough, app is clunky. cant zoom on sheets ?!?

Register such as HSE, Business Risk, Training Matrices, smart sheets can send you reminders which reduces mental load

the licensing structure is very confusing and customer support has been challenging unless were at a top tier license. All customers should be able to talk to a person when experiencing tech difficulties
