Great tool for managing our month end close
What do you like best about the product?
When dates pass the email feature knowing that your date has passed and needs to be updated
What do you dislike about the product?
Shutting off notifications after the months are over

We manage our month end close with this tool every month
Good for what it does but I do wish some things were different.
What do you like best about the product?
It keeps track of documentation and I can see in a nutshell what each row is.
What do you dislike about the product?
It loads slow and is slow to capture changes/automation. I also do wish there was a free training on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keep track of data all in one place.

One feature that would be useful is ability to link sheet summary fields to other sheets.

Overseas Accounting in multiple currencies as well as project planning. Only solution we’ve found that does exactly what we need.
A useful Tool for Project and Work Management

Unlike traditional spreadsheets like google sheet and excel Smartsheet allows for dynamic collaboration between coworkers, outside partners and stakeholders. It's easy to use in therm of user f

In the company I work we use Smartsheet to collet information from our partners, track daily and weekly task, as well as change and addition to the website we are designing. Used daily it really helps to track down what it's still need to be done. It's a 360 degree tool super easy to use, I highly recommend it. It's fast to implement new sheets on a daily basis, form catalogue important information to write down your to do list.

What do you dislike about the product?
As a graphic designer I wish I could edit more the visual while creating a form. Smartsheet only allows me to change the background picture and I would love to be able to change font, size and color to make the form as much close as possible to the brand identity of the project .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet solves the need to store different type of information and content, form the social media planning where you can add the images you want to show to collecting the information form different partners. It also helps to track down the workflow and really helps in the collaboration between the company and external workers.

Wish it had more proofing built in features
What do you like best about the product?
I like the automations that can be setup and the customization of them. Dashboards are a good feature once those get built out for the use case. I like that the sheet can hold lots of tasks but which there was a better way to group them. The indents to a parent task could better. It'd be great if you could create independent and dependent tasks that then notified the next in line once those are completed.

I wish you could copy a task and it would copy the attachments and links or ask if I'd like those copied as well. Click Up had this and I loved it. I wish there was an auto reminder for reviews. To reminder approvers of a review pending their approval.
I wish an emailed report could send more than 50 rows.
I wish assignees could view info on a parent task. Have a link on their sub task to view all the attachments and info that are on the parent task.
I wish there was a better way to cell link and easier way to get sheets to talk to each other.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Assigning tasks out in mass to several designers. Work is being tracked and documented. Artwork goes into proofs where we can track the comments for asset delivery.
Smartsheet is Intuitive and Well rounded
What do you like best about the product?
The multitude of different functions and ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system can be a bit convoluted and a bit confusing when integrating new feature into projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is great at being a one stop solution for multiple issues facing the management of a project.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about SmartSheet is the abililty to collaborate in real time with my coworkers. My favorite function is the 'proofing' function where a user can upload a document for approval and we can all provide our feedback in real time. This saves us going back and forth via email and ensures none of our edits get missed. Using this function we have caught many mistakes before the asset went out to our client. It also allows for us to collaborate and make our assets better by asking quesitons and making suggestions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing I dislike about SmartSheet is the formatting/creating templates fucntion is not the most user friendly. I am not able to edit templates that I have already created, if I have an edit to a template, I would need to create a new one which just creates more work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SmartSheet allows us to collaborate on our marketing assets in real time with multiple users. This creates more efficient proofing, reduces the amount of revisions that get missed and opens a door for more comminication and enhancements to our projects. We also use this to manage the timeline of projects. SmartSheet ensures that everyone who is assigned to a task is notified, has all of their relevant details and keep on track with our deadlines. Any project or task that is assigned is added to SmartSheet, it is our source of truth to manage our projects.

Multiple people cannot use the sheet at the same time like Excel or else it will mess up. I don't know who is in which box and if they hit save, I may loss my data

we can keep track of work by the report and also, use the sheets for minutes and archiving.
User friendly, fun to use
What do you like best about the product?
I've been working with Smartsheet for 3 years, and my team and I rely heavily on Smartsheet for most of our work. Here are my favorite Smartsheet features:
- It's simple, but I love being able to just type "t" for today's date and have it auto-populate.
- Creating reports, dashboards, and forms is streamlined and easy to do.
- It is so helpful to have the comment and attachment features.

What do you dislike about the product?
We manage large databases on Smartsheet, and saving our data on those can take a little longer than I would like.
Formulas can be a bit challenging to write since they aren't quite the same as Excel, but ChatGPT has been a huge help with that.

We are able to automate licensing requests and our overall workflow. I can easily hold members of my team accountable for their work.
