Smartsheet: The Backbone of Our Productivity
What do you like best about the product?
What I really like about Smartsheet is how it brings clarity and structure to my day-to-day work. It’s incredibly easy to collaborate across teams, track progress, and stay organized - especially when juggling multiple projects. The customizable dashboards and automated workflows save time and reduce manual follow-ups, which helps me stay focused on supporting sales without getting bogged down in admin tasks. It’s a reliable tool that keeps everything moving smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Smartsheet is a powerful and flexible tool, there are a few areas where it could be improved. For example, the UI can feel a bit cluttered at times, especially when managing large sheets with many collaborators. More intuitive navigation or customizable views could help streamline the experience. Additionally, while automation features are helpful, they could be expanded to include more advanced logic or integrations with other platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is solving several key problems that come with managing complex workflows and cross-functional collaboration. For me, one of the biggest benefits is how it centralizes information—no more digging through emails or spreadsheets to find updates or track progress. It also helps automate repetitive tasks, which saves time and reduces the chance of errors. The ability to create shared sheets, reports, and dashboards means everyone stays aligned, and I can quickly provide visibility to leadership without extra effort. Overall, it’s made my sales support role more efficient and less stressful.
Smartsheet keeps us organized
What do you like best about the product?
We use smartsheet for our company because it allows us to create a system that fits our needs exactly as we need it to be, and it was very easy to set up. It is a very clear and concise method for showing our cleaning list, and staying on top of it. We are able to see when tasks are completed, near the expired date, or past expired. It also allows us to input and track who did what, so we are able to hold each other accountable. Its an amazing system that keeps us organized between a group of about 15 of us.
What do you dislike about the product?
When there is a few of us using it at a time, consistently inputting data, and constantly refreshing the page, sometimes the data thats supposed to display in our pi chart (that shows the percentages of our clean to expired tasks,) wont update or show at all. Its not a deal breaker because we can easily scroll down and still see which tasks need to be done, and are still color coded as need be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is allowing us to stay on top of tasks that need to be done weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. It gives us a color-coded visual on these tasks so we are able to see what needs to get taken care of.
Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to utilize and understand. Was able to pick it up quickly my first day using the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be nice if it had compatibility in its function with excel. For example, adding rows with shortcut ctrl+ +.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Smartsheets for the GAANT Chart feature. It is much easier than using a template in excel or creating it from scratch. It also gives a platform for all the projects to sit in.

It's very easy to use and is a great help in my daily routine.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ease of implementation and the wide range of features make this product stand out. Integration with other systems is also straightforward.

This product is easy to control and simple to use, while also feeling very professional.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that we are able to use it company wide to communicate in real time while also using it to keep our projects organized. We use Smartsheets for multiple different things from trackers to planners, it has it all. It is very user friendly as well which is one of the reasons I use it everyday.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main complaint is I personal have issues with the using the date boxes. For one of my sheets, I have to put the date of the next day in order for it to put the day of the day I am needing it to. Multiple others use the sheet without this issue so it is just me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives us as a company a way of seeing real time updates from coworkers company wide. We also use it to send automated emails to our customers when our tasks are complete which saves us a lot of time.
Daily user of Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
I like the collaboration aspect where all stakeholders can converge on one platform to work and comment on a project. Others platform do it but I wouldn't invite our corporate clients to a Google Sheet. I see Smartsheet as a more reputable tool to share with clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like we are not using the full power of Smartsheet and I would like a more dedicated account rep. to show us some features we're not using.

Our team is 100% remote and Smartsheet is solving the issue of easy collaboration for a dispersed team
Somewhat clunky experience with potential for better spreadsheet facilitation.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can select data points somewhat simply between multiple / many different data sources to create very dynamic worksheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
The linkage interface is not very intelligent, the link updating is slow and can make it difficult to identify issues, and not all traditional excel formulas are functional (especially being able to use a spreadsheet in a time-based format).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can link together many different datasets and visualize them more simply and centrally than a traditional excel model.
Smartsheet for Efficiency and Communication
What do you like best about the product?
I like the communication aspect of Smartsheet, which takes away reliance on Teams and Outlook, for clients and users that do not have Microsoft. I am able to track the status of projects in real time, receive email notifications when someone tags me, and attach documents as needed. It really helps my team be efficient, stay on track, and be held accountable. I use Smartsheet daily for multiple aspects of my job, and it has truly been a game changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more customization capabilities and possibly some more user-friendly ways to access chat and attachment features. The form generation is great, but some users are still able to manipulate fields they otherwise should not be able to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows my team to better collaborate and re-assign tasks as needed. Since it is online, we are all able to access Smartsheet from anywhere.
Its a very useful IT tool for increased collaboration and data collection and analysis.

What do you dislike about the product?
At times, it can be somewhat challenging to cross-reference formulas and similar elements. It takes a little time to get accustomed to the interface before you feel comfortable building your own worksheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The software offers useful features for inventory and stock management. It also supports procurement tasks, such as handling requests for quotations, as well as tracking orders and expenditures.
New to Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
Easy of use and very flexible to many different uses. Right now we have replace a OneNote notebook that was being used heavily for PMO work and now standing up a ticketing system for another department with a very small volume of tickets.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can take some time to become familiar with the icons on the side and to distinguish between a sheet, a workspace, or a report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we encountered was that our OneNote files became corrupted. When we attempted to restore them, we discovered that backing up OneNote files is essentially ineffective unless the files were backed up locally on the computer. This made the recovery process very frustrating.
