User-friendly and robust tool for accessible project management
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has a simple set of tabs and functions that can be easily grasped by the general public yet it is able to perform complex tasks that project managers need on a daily basis
What do you dislike about the product?
There are programming limitations in this tool and resource management and budget calculations require additional tools on the side

Task management, deadline tracking and adapting workflows

Smartsheet is very limited in its charts options. Also, its a bit difficult writing equations for calculated fields

Smartsheet is a smart and easy-to-use spreadsheet tool with a user-friendly interface and strong capabilities for managing various scenarios and projects. The Smartsheet is designed for versatile collaborative use, optimized for cross-company collaboration. This enables smooth cooperation across companies within a project.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sharing functionality could be improved. It would be beneficial to have options for restricting access to specific parts of the workspace, so that users wouldn’t need to share each sheet individually with large groups manually.

Very efficient and quick way to communicate and like the fact that it updates changes immidiately. Easy to share live project updates with team.

Nothing , all great about this programme .

Its Great But Has Limitations
What do you like best about the product?
Its very practical and effective for updates etc from your team without having to have an account. Forms and submissions are easy to manage as well as update requests and reminders.

The formatting to format a cell if difficult and over time consuming - it doesnt make sense

We started using Smartsheet for the IT project management team, and it has been a game-changer. For anyone who relies on multiple spreadsheets and emails, Smartsheet is the perfect solution for transitioning to a more real-time collaboration, offering numerous features that you may not have known you needed.
The implementation of Smartsheet was straightforward and detailed, with the program tailored to best fit our needs. We can now track department budgets on projects and set realistic timelines for projects.
We use Smartsheet every day, and if someone is on vacation or decides to change departments, a new project manager can seamlessly take over where the previous PM left off, with no questions asked.

What do you dislike about the product?
I couldn't find anything I didn't like about Smartsheet. Smartsheet has given our team the visibility and efficiency we need to succeed.

Smartsheet's versatility enables you to tailor it to your specific needs, whether you're managing complex projects, tracking resources, or planning events. We have created custom dashboards and reports that provide leadership with a high-level overview, while also giving team members the detailed task information they need to stay on track.
Smooth event and project management
What do you like best about the product?
I frequently use integrations for event participants management and to track deliverables as part of project management. It's very easy when it comes to events to send reminders when we need to ask for information or documents (instead of 50 individual emails, I just need to draft a template, and Smartsheet does the information collection for me).
What do you dislike about the product?
I have never used customer support, so I can't talk about that in a positive or negative way. I think as a guest user, the limitation of what guests and administrators/business accounts can do is a bit frustrating: e.g. the name of the smartsheet sheet is wrong, I need to ask one of the business accounts holders to change the name of the file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the main problems is event management (managing registrations, participants lists, their additional information like arrivals, departures, needs,... all in one platform). Another problem is task management when it comes to big projects wil different deliverables and workpackages, allocating who is in charge of producing what and being able to create automations with deadlines as we assign tasks and projects to colleagues.

Takes time to save changes once too many users have same window open also when a lot of data gets piled up.
