Great UI and experience, its very easy to use for newbies

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet allows you to pull together project data from all aspects of the project and present them in easy to interpret reports and dashboards customised to reflect the needs of the client, project team and management.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some limitations including the inability to write report results to a sheet dynamic drop downs based upon a source list, etc. These gaps are regularly addressed via updates to the product but still need more growth. Integration to power platforms is almost non existent and the documentation around power automate is very poor. Integration with task management tools needs to be improved and expanded to the office 365 platform. It makes no sense to offer teams integration but not offer planner integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping project managers and clients informed on progress and status and getting customers actively involved in the project.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is honestly an incredible piece of software. We use it to run all of our emergency restoration jobs as well as reconstructions. You can use it to build any type of form, template, spreadsheet etc. It is literally how we keep track of absolutely everything, and we use it all day everyday. Our director/project manager has managed to create a system, using Smartsheet that really just works so well for our company. Once you get comfortable using Smartsheet, you realize how easy it actually is to use. It was a learning curve when I first started, but I love it now.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only major dislike I have about Smartsheet is that is can be so easy to accidentally change or delete a cell. However, luckily it is fairly easy to catch because of the cell history. Although if you delete a cell that triggers another function, those are hard to catch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is helping us solve the problem of keeping multiple restoration projects organized and on track. In this industry, we’re often dealing with a lot of moving parts—insurance adjusters, property managers, homeowners, and crews all need updates. Before, communication was scattered across emails and calls, and it was easy for things to get delayed.
With Smartsheet, all project information is centralized and updated in real time, so we can see exactly where each job is at without chasing people down. Automations like reminders and approval workflows keep things moving, and dashboards give both our team and our clients instant visibility. It’s improved accountability, reduced delays, and made our overall process much more efficient.

Great tool that require some learning curve to create powerful tables and tracking

The possibility for automation and sending automatic email to add data (and do it directly from email)

Need someone very knowledgeable to build the initial system

Great Tool for Tracking Data Across Teams
What do you like best about the product?
I use Smartsheet every week. I love that multiple people across teams and companies can work in Smartsheet and it always stays updated. It makes organizing data, workflows, and checklists easy - much easier than excel or sheets. The filter functions are a dream! Everything is super customizable, as well. I love the option of creating forms. Forms make collecting data so much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet is not as user-friendly as I would like, sometimes. If I am trying to do something specific and don't yet know how, I often have to look up a tutorial rather than just clicking around until I figure it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is solving the problems of multiple people being able to share data in an organized way and standardized data collection that can be readily analyzed.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets has provided us a simple way of streamlining processes in our dealership. It has solved communication issues and provided us a way of putting details into an accessible format for all involved. Creating the form took some time, but once published, implementing the use of it was near seamless. We now use smartsheets daily for a number of different applications. The more time I spend exploring it, the more I realize there really are endless uses for integrating it within our dealership. Although I have not had to contact customer support directly, I have used the help menu quite a bit and have found all the resources I needed there quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish there was a simple insert method for formulas. I find it a bit tedious to manually type them in each time. If there was a menu for preset formulas you could just click and add in to save time that would be super handy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has solved a lot of communication issues for us. Instead of hand written notes, emails, printed out forms, we've been able to add all that into one place. This has made it easier to track and look back on to save time on back and forth within the dealership. Time saving is definitely the biggest benefit to us.

Smartsheet Workflows are intuitive enough to create even without coding background.

Report formatting has been difficult and not as aestetic as id like

Internal approval of equipment movement across different locations/owners. Historical tracking to include attachments and revisions.

What do you like best about the product?
Important documents and links are at your fingertips. These links are used on a daily basis and easy to access.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not customized to each location but does not give option to put N/A or not used. So sometimes you don't know if you should be using certain things or doing certain tests.

Organization. Keeping crucial documenting in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most about Smartsheet is that you can create several sheets that will cross reference with one another, and it makes reporting easier for many areas. In our company all we use is Smartsheet's for reporting as well as conducting our scheduling.
What do you dislike about the product?
What i dislike the most is how slow it refreshes at times
