Good features for the cost
What do you like best about the product?
Generally good for collecting data in form of surveys. Relatively easy to filter required information and build charts off of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not easy to copy or manipulate data. For example, if I filter a selection of data and want to put it into excel, or even just download all the data into excel, this is often not doable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
General data collection and aggregation.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that different team members can collaborate in real time and give updates globally

It falls short at times with ease of use at times where different sheets from different users can work together.

bringing multiple parts of the business together and having our data complied in one area for a source of truth regarding open positions.

What do you like best about the product?
Automation in the form of notification and reports. Also, real-time collaboration with features for adding comments and adding files directly to tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Multiple tabs not available on the same sheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By automating repetitive tasks like notifications and reports it allows us to focus on more strategic work.

Sometimes it can be a little slow when there are many rows or big projects. But overall, it’s still helpful for organizing work.

Putting the "Smart" in Smartsheet - Great Product!
What do you like best about the product?
I would highly recommend Smartsheet to anyone running a business that needs a smart, flexible spreadsheet system that goes far beyond what traditional programs can do. It combines the familiarity of a spreadsheet with powerful project management and automation tools, making it easy to track workflows, manage teams, and visualize progress all in one place. The collaboration features are excellent, and the ability to integrate with other platforms makes it even more versatile.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike about Smartsheet, and I am excited to see what new features they continue to add!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our organization uses Smartsheet to manage the entire invoicing and billing process from submission to approval and tracking. Invoices are submitted through a central form and automatically routed to the proper approvers, with real-time updates providing full visibility into payment status. This system has streamlined our workflow, reduced errors, and eliminated the need for multiple spreadsheets or email chains, making our billing process more efficient, transparent, and organized.
Great feature and definitely makes business management easier.

How organized and detailed it is, as well as, how easy it is to navigate and use.

There is honestly nothing I dislike about smartsheet

Keeping our referral patients organized on a real-time system that enables a smooth workflow and that referrals are always properly in place.
I've enjoyed Smartsheet for it's ease of use, however there are areas for improvement.
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Smartsheet is easy to use for those that are familiar with Excel/MS Project as it has similar functionalities. It's nice that there are different types of sheets that can be set up for different purposes, so I do use Smartsheet for tracking various items and workflows often.
What do you dislike about the product?
Project Plans on Smartsheet are not good for supporting very large projects. Me and some of my colleagues have had to move some of our larger project plans to MS Project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to track tasks, workflows, resources, team rosters/PTO calendars, budget, amongst other items. This allows for an all-in-one tool for project/status reporting.

Smartsheet makes it easy to manage complex projects with customizable sheets, automated workflows, and real-time collaboration. I appreciate how user-friendly it is for both beginners and experienced users, and how well it integrates with tools like Microsoft Teams, Slack, and Google Drive. The dashboard and reporting features are especially helpful for keeping stakeholders updated and making data-driven decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Smartsheet offers robust capabilities, its pricing may be somewhat high for smaller teams, particularly as you try to scale. Accessing advanced features such as resource management or certain premium add-ons often requires purchasing extra licenses, which can strain a limited budget. Additionally, there is a noticeable learning curve when configuring more complex automations or formulas.

This tool makes it easy to get an overview of all the projects currently running within the team. The filter option is especially useful, as it allows me to quickly view running projects, delivered projects, closed projects, and several other categories.

Smartsheet offers an excellent balance between flexibility and structure. The ability to customize sheets, automate workflows, and integrate with other tools makes it incredibly powerful for managing both day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives. The collaborative features, such as real-time updates, comments and alerts, help keep everyone aligned and accountable. I particularly value the dashboards and reporting capabilities, which allow me to visualize progress and communicate results clearly to leadership.

While Smartsheet is very versatile, it can feel overwhelming at first due to the number of features and setup options. Some automations and cross-sheet references can become slow when managing very large datasets, and the mobile version could be more intuitive for quick edits. Additionally, advanced permissions or formula-based configurations sometimes require extra training to use effectively.

Smartsheet helps keep everything organized in one place, so our team doesn’t have to rely on scattered spreadsheets or long email chains. It makes it easy to see what everyone is working on, track progress, and stay on top of deadlines. The automations save a lot of time by reducing manual work, and the updates in real time keep everyone aligned. Overall, it’s made our projects run smoother and improved collaboration across teams.
Great software Thats user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Great software Thats user friendly for all computer level users. It helps our business in many different ways. Our organization uses it for 10+ forms between 300+ locations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like it logs you out on one sheet, but not on others. It also looks basic and a little outdated
