Okay, but took away some tools that made things easier
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can look thorough all of our sheets by searching, and can find LOT numbers, article numbers, and find it quickly. I love that our whole team can access all the files, and more than one person can make adjustments or additions to the sheets and everyone can see the updates in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the things that was taken away was the always open search bar. Something that I used every single day, extensively. It now adds significant time to my work that I have to click the looking glass emoticon on the right side of the screen to get the search bar open. Also, when I do search within the same Smartsheet, the Smartsheet then brings me to what I requested, but doesn't keep my place on the actual smart sheet. My company uses Smartsheet extensively, and me after looking up what I needed to has to scroll all the way back to get the data I needed. These updates have made your software less useful and more time consuming. Let alone the ease of use has become less and less.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our office manager and our sales associate are trying and testing out more features to see what clicks best with our business and what additional features we can add to make our work day more seamless.
Good platform for collobration
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to use an input form to populate a spreadsheet & have controls on who can make changes to a variety of cells/columns.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is less user friendly in for formatting than other similar products for filters, searching and formatting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing different teams to work on the same item and collaborate better without duplication of work. Allows for tracking and approvals prior to moving on in the process.

It helps keep projects organized, tracks deadlines, and improves team collaboration. It makes it easier to manage workflows and see progress in one place.
Easy to implement and exchange over entire organization
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is fantastic at being able to complex items like request trackers and makes it easy for company wide access and utilization. It's easy to see the entire workload of teams and requestors and manage teams through smartsheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's simple interface is ideal for most items, but as dashboards and requests increase in scope, the ease of use diminishes and overly complex items can be extremely difficult to build out in Smartsheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With an analytics team that has to support the reporting needs, ad-hoc and general questions of an entire organization, Smartsheets has been very instrumental in making easy ways to monitor workflows, efforts of the teams, scales and scopes of requests and prioritize the teams work.
A Powerful Platform for Work Management and Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Built-in automation lets users trigger alerts, reminders, and workflows based on conditions—no coding required. Integrations with tools like Microsoft Teams, Slack, Salesforce, and Jira extend its functionality even further.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the interface is familiar, advanced features like formulas, automations, and dashboards may require training to master.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides one shared, cloud-based platform where everyone can see project timelines, status updates, and responsibilities in real time. Dashboards and reports give leadership instant visibility into progress without chasing updates.
Great for manufacturing
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use for the most part. I also appreciate the ability to have multiple sheets within the workplace to be able to reference different parameters and information for our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slow to load. I'm also limited on my knowledge of formulas within Smartsheet so I wish there was a way to just have the formula created for me.

Project management, parameters for production, inventories, etc.
A Versatile and Powerful Solution for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
It is the combination of flexibility and automation. It offers the freedom to structure projects like a spreadsheet, but with much more robust features — such as automatic alerts, custom forms, dynamic reports, and visual dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I like least about Smartsheet is that, despite being very powerful, some advanced features require a steeper learning curve. For those who are just starting or coming from simpler tools, it may take some time to understand how to set up automations, dynamic reports, or detailed permissions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows me to automate repetitive tasks, such as sending alerts, status updates, and approvals. This has reduced the time spent on manual processes and minimized operational errors. With just a few clicks, I can set up workflows that previously required multiple steps and involved different tools.
Smartsheet is powerful, but it could improve by increasing the cell limit.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few areas where improvements could be made. For example, it would be helpful if Smartsheet allowed for multiple line requests when entering purchase orders, as this feature is currently missing. Additionally, I have encountered issues when using multiple workflows, as they can sometimes conflict with each other and cause problems with automation triggers. Another limitation is the 500,000 cell cap, which restricts the platform's usefulness for large-scale data reporting.

For me, it’s been a game-changer in managing vendor setups, GR requests, and milestone tracking. I can automate approvals, monitor progress in real time, and collaborate across teams—all in one place. It’s made my work faster, more organized, and easier to report on.

I find Smartsheet to be a great tool for tracking project details and monitoring progress. It is intuitive, making it easy for me to use even without a project management background. The vast resources available helped me learn quickly. I particularly enjoy the project tracking and budgeting features, which are essential for my work. Smartsheet helps prioritize organization and execution
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is an excellent tool for project management. In the AEC industry, we work with many consultants and manage a large volume of documents, and Smartsheet provides a central hub to organize, track, and collaborate efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet can feel cumbersome when managing large design teams and complex document sets. Tracking drawing revisions, consultant updates, and RFIs is not always seamless, and setting up sheets for AEC workflows often requires extra customization to fit the way architects coordinate projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps centralize project schedules, consultant coordination, and document tracking in one place. For architecture projects, this reduces email chains, keeps everyone aligned on deadlines and deliverables, and improves visibility for clients and team members, ultimately saving time and reducing errors.
