Very powerful tool
What do you like best about the product?
I think the formatting rules allow for very easy data visualization. The fact the colleges can collaborate in real time is great. I find that people who struggle with Excel can easily use smartsheets as an alternative
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there are some very basic features missing such as applying formulas to only children rows

What do you like best about the product?
Easier to use than Excel and I can use it for shared forms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at all so far, but I have only just started to use them.

The smartsheet forms are being used as a live document so that we can perform AP duties.
Smartsheet: A Great Collaboration Tool with Significant Advantages Over Excel Sheets in OneDrive
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet offers ease of implementation and seamless integration with ETL software. It’s a reliable platform that supports efficient workflows and collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing content with individuals who don’t have a license can be challenging. Unlike MS Excel and OneDrive, Smartsheet requires a license, which limits accessibility for non-licensed users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have developed a tool that retrieves daily information from our TMS stored in an MS SQL table. This data is processed using Alteryx Designer and updated in Smartsheet through Alteryx Scheduler. Smartsheet automation helps streamline workflows by sending email reminders to users when specific criteria are met. Additionally, we use a manual tracker in Smartsheet to efficiently register extra information that isn’t available in TMS.
To integrate Smartsheet into our workflow, we built a custom Alteryx workflow to update Smartsheet data via its API. This was relatively simple, thanks to Smartsheet’s easy API access to its tables. As a result, this workflow and Smartsheet have allowed us to save 10–20% of our daily time, which can now be allocated to other tasks. Moreover, Smartsheet provides a more professional appearance and better archiving capabilities compared to Excel sheets stored on OneDrive.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the features in Smartsheet that help me organize data and make it easily accessible. Additionally, it serves as an excellent collaboration tool for different teams within my organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't see any significant drawbacks to using Smartsheet. I have no complaints about the software.

it's very excellent product to keep on data for our customer details and easy to work environment

Solid, with customisation in workflows. Automations hold a lot of operational potential.

What do you dislike about the product?
Auto-save feature can be glitchy causing issues when updates don't save. Functionality is extremely limited on the mobile app and even on a tablet.

We're able to outsource reminders and nudges thanks to automations. For instance, remembering the date that a license expires and needs to be renewed by is easier with smartsheets sending automated notifications to the relevant team members
Enhances Communication, Needs Interface Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I find the shareability feature of Smartsheet incredibly useful, making it easy to communicate and receive real-time updates as people work on tasks. It effectively solves communication issues, especially with shared workspaces, helping us quickly resolve any miscommunication that might occur over email.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find some aspects of the Smartsheet interface to be clunky and difficult to interact with. Additionally, there's an issue with the system where users might forget to save their changes on worksheets, leading to potential errors in data.

I use Smartsheet to streamline sharing information and communicating with customers, preventing email miscommunications, and receiving real-time updates, which enhances our workflow.
Practical and versatile work tool
What do you like best about the product?
The creation of workspaces and the establishment of links between the workspace and the worksheets are done very easily. This tool is really powerful, and we still have many features to explore.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since I started using this tool, it initially offered free licenses, albeit limited, but still functional. Now, this option is no longer available and one is encouraged to subscribe to a paid license. Regarding the features of Smartsheet, I find that creating filters is not as intuitive as on an Excel file. Moreover, the dashboards are not interconnected, or their connection is complicated to set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The robustness of the links between the files (sheets) is really efficient and reliable. Moreover, the file search function proves to be very effective.
Intuitive and Robust, But Needs Bug Fixes
What do you like best about the product?
I find Smartsheet incredibly easy to use and share, and it helps me stay organized with action items, project plans, calendars, and risk logs all in one workspace. I appreciate the comment and dependency features, and the ability to tag people in specific rows. Smartsheet's simplicity and robustness make it a valuable tool for my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the copy and paste features are kind of buggy. And I don't like that you can't hide rows.

I find Smartsheet helps me stay organized with logs for action items, project plans, team calendars, and risk logs all in one workspace. It’s easy to use, share, and track things internally.
Great Step in the Right Direction for Spreadsheets
What do you like best about the product?
The most valuable feature is being able to use the information across various dashboards. This makes implementation much more effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, transferring information into maps or other applications can be challenging.

Its helping me take equipment requests and put it into data for end of year purchasing decisions
