Full functional, incl. integration
What do you like best about the product?
integration is key for Skillsoft... due to it’s huge inventory of course content... incl. categorization.. it has continued to expand overall content, so key compliance, basic skills, etc.. are offered, thus eliminating local development and maintenance.
What do you dislike about the product?
S9metimes slow to support unique tech integration.. for older platforms... also, base full functional package is more expensive that other offerings

Key content... quick offering... detailed tracking and notifications

Awesome Platform for e-Learning Management
What do you like best about the product?
It gives a single portal where you can summarize all the training planned and completed, at the same time it has all information related to your performance & certificate earned in those training. Training may contain presentation, Video & audio. best feature of training session is that user can listen as well if required .
What do you dislike about the product?
As such nothing , it fulfill all the basic requirement. Sometime finding out completed training is quite difficult ,may be it is organization based setting . Improvement can be done on the view of the window. It is little bit in old fashion . So giving an exited view to screen is somewhat good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solve the problem of training management for all employee and it can give a summarized report about the progress of any online training conducted in organization. It gives employee wise list of status of training so follow up with particular employee is easy also it generate reminder mail automatically .Also nomination of training can be done department or region wise . Since every region has little bit different requirement and timeline.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a good portal for eLearning for employee and progress against those also can be monitored. It help to manage online training in the organization.
It can have video , audio and presentation on the same platform , user also can read or listen .I think it will help in e-learning a lot also to track the performance against those training . it can be implemented in small organization as well.

Intuitive and easy to keep the learning flow on track
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoyed its easiness to be used, I mean it is very intuitive for the learner that has specific learner goals in mind, or even if you’re on an exploratory mode, Percipio felt very friendly to discover new learning paths in which to embark.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it’s UI/UX could be a little more modern or follow more of the trends that are currently in the digital market, A great example of this would be the Digital Fluency app from PWC.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Developing individual skills and organizational capabilities as well as upskilling and reskilling forman organizational growth mindset could be potential uses of the tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have clarity on what and how you want to develop on your workforce and that Percipio serves the 80-20 of their needs

Ease of use for individuals to pick courses and set a learning plan with reminders

It would be great to have integration with our HRIS and welcome emails sent to new employees explaining what Skillsoft is.

There are easy to use pre-built courses that managers can take that provides them with learning opportunities for softskills such as persuasive communication skills.
Skillsoft Percipio Advantage
What do you like best about the product?
Skillsoft Percipio is super user friendly and makes it easy to locate hundreds of training topics from professional development skills to IT specific. I love that it provides a variety of learning options (on-line courses, books, audio-books, book summaries, learning channels...and ability to use mobile devices!)
What do you dislike about the product?
With Skillsoft 8.0, I struggled with the Search engine and courses seemed old and outdated. We recently converted to Percipio. The Search capabilities are fabulous and I no longer struggle to find something relevant to my topic. Course content is more current and up to date. Would be nice to have a user dashboard that provide more time tracking, so I know how long I spent on something and when
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working on professional skills like Emotional Intelligence and sharpening technical skills. For Professional Skills, the videos are nice for quick hits and books are great for deeper dives. The Learning channels make it super easy to find the topic I'm looking for and narrowing down relevant options by courses, books, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the attention to detail and willingness to work with our team. We always receive Prompt and concise responses via email and phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the integration between Sikksoft and SumTotal is clumsy.

Percipio-A Must Use Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the Ebook function--I can learn while I drive to and from work!

Useful for automated training
What do you like best about the product?
We use Skillsoft modules for biohazard training mandated by government agencies. It's useful because it allows each employee to be trained at their convenience. Its varied structure includes short videos and pullouts, as well as quizzes and exercises to make sure users are engaged. It saves time for employees because they don't have to attend an additional biosafety seminar at an inconvenient time or location.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the modules are a bit too easy or simplistic, but they almost have to be because not all users have similar levels of experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The best thing about Skillsoft is that it allows us to schedule training at times and places that are convenient for us. It also allows new employees to be trained immediately, instead of having to wait for the next scheduled seminar. Finally, it does a good job organizing and documenting legally-required training for our institution.
Great Product for Extra Training
What do you like best about the product?
Skillsoft is a great product with a variety of topics one can learn on. It allows you to build up your skills and resume with the variety of courses one can take. It also has test one must pass to make sure that the material was learned from the course. Upon passing you are given a certificate of completion which is great to store and have on file in case ever asked. Its great that it shows all courses in your profile that you have completed and it allows you to save courses to do at a later date. this allows me to construct my own path of courses I want to take. It also has topics you would have never thought about which is great to learn off of and improve your skills whether you are already in s supervisors/managers position or striving to achieve a new position.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike about skillsoft it is a pretty awesome tool for an organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has solved the issue of having all employees having access to extra training so that they can improve their skills or build new skills. It is also cost efficient since it is not possible to send every employee to outside training's. It also has allowed my employees feel that I am here for them and wanting them to succeed which I do.

Great just have to encourage employees to use the program play around and get familiar with it.

What do you like best about the product?
Channels and ELSA app. Turning on the ELSA App in Chrome will allow you to right click a topic you find during your work day and search for videos without exiting to the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The exercises need to expanded. I know there are practice labs, but more exercises always help with hands on learning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training at a more prescribed level vs simply searching keywords in Skillport.
