Gong Call Recording - Customer Success
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to record all your calls. It is super easy to review them, and their AI features are super helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like some more robust notifications and customizability around what I receive and when.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recording our calls; tracking action items and next steps after calls; tracking time on calls with customers.
Top tool for the core use cases its solves
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to setup and start using. Has a high ceiling for advanced use cases. Intergrates well with most popular tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
If used for just the core use cases (recording calls & coaching) its a very expensive solution. Requires a decent amount of effort from you to activate all the features and utilize them properly, thus gaining increase value/roi. Customer Support is there but only if you ask the right questions and get connected to the right people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gathers up transcripts, summaries, key topics and next steps for calls. Allows us to track if certain sales methodoligies are touched on during calls (MEDDPICC). Creates an easy to use all in one Sales Coaching tool.
Makes my job easier!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the transcript with Action items that accompany recordings!
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficulty to delete videos without reaching out to org. administrator, even when we upload them ourselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We record all client training sessions throughout their Implementation process, we are able to then use this for review (personally and for our customers).
The one tool I'm always using
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that I can go back and listen to the call after, so I can be fully focus on what is happening in the call and actively listening to my clients questions. I also love that I can share the recording with clients or other collegues to discuss or learn from.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't delete calls that did not happened from my home page
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If my clients have requests I can simply share the recording of the conversation and it will always be clinet voice. It also helps on negotiations to be able to go back and listen to what has been discussed in the past.

What do you like best about the product?
Fantastic product, very easy to use and the support from customer success is simply awesome! (Shout out to Tim Schmidt!) I've used other products in past and Gong stands above all of them!..... I use deal boards all day everyday. Much easier to use than navigating reports/opps in SF! ..... Beyond that the call summaries make it easy to catch up on deals and identify where help/support is needed. Beyond the functionality, our CSM Tim is amazing. Super responsive and truly understands our needs. He brings insights/recommendations on how we can get even more value from the platform. Highly recommend Gong!
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of anything. Would love to see forecasting and Engage included :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility to deals including what's happened, what's next and velocity of engagement. Much faster and easier to use than SF.
A vital tool in our toolkit
What do you like best about the product?
It allows our teams to review conversations from active deal cycles, go back and understand what may have gone wrong in past deal cycles, and overall see data on how reps perform on live meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything in particular that I dislike – Gong has become a vital tool in our toolkit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is solving the problem that occurs after a video meeting or cold call is over. If you don't feel you've taken in depth notes, you can go back and review the call itself, or even use the summaries provided by the platform.

What do you like best about the product?
Our team started using Gong with just the sales team and now the whole CS team utilizes Gong. I love that we can share sections of a call with clients, it lets us know when the call was viewed etc.
We also use the # feature in Gong - so we can easily track things like #clientrequests or specific integrations that keep coming up.
We use Gong to organize calls by client, so when we handoff (From Sales to IMP or from IMP to CS) we can quickly review calls and transcripts.
Personally, I also love just sharing a single link with clients instead of having to share a link + password so they can review our calls together. (Like with Zoom) Plus I can assign an expiration date to access to the call and am notified if/when the call is reviewed by a client.
I also love the AI-generated summary so if I don't have time to listen to the full call or want to make sure I'm listening to the right one before watching, then I can know after reading a paragraph!

It can be a bit expensive to grant seats to everyone on the team. I didn't have full access to Gong for several months and still have a limited access version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Call summary, call access, call insights.
Ready for a quick, easy to use work management system? It's Gong!
What do you like best about the product?
The extensions make it easy to go into Gong from anywhere. Either your calendar or CRM, it's efficient to get the info you need on the account or contact.

The search field is not efficient to find the contact your need.

Gong is solving our scale challenges and is helping us ramp as we grow to Enterprise
Very accessible, easy to use & helps me improve my sales game!
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate. Simple to review present or historic meetings to improve proposals. AI helps generate next steps after calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Improve the transcription - sometimes the acorrect words aren't picked up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Missing out key bits of information necessary to win business (e.g. painpoints, metrics etc.)
Great tool for anyone in a Sales Role.
What do you like best about the product?
I use Gong multiple times a day. Being able to look at all my calls and get a brief synopsis of the conversation helps me review all talking points so I do not miss any critical follow ups.

Gong has so many options sometime it is hard to find the easiest way to search information
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The AI insight used during my sales calls helps me track my cadence and guage questions and talking percentages between myself and my accounts.
