Gong is a great investment
What do you like best about the product?
Gong seriously delivers on their promise of improving productivity. It's like my digital assistant that takes care of all the little details (recording calls, logging key notes, listing action items, connecting to CRM, etc.) so I can focus on higher-level tasks. The software is super easy-to-use and is a gamechanger for my work. I would guess that it saves me at least a couple hours per week on average.
What do you dislike about the product?
No true downsides so far. I know the AI is still evolving and there is definitely some room for improvement in how it lists action items and summarizes calls. Sometimes it will miss a key detail or two.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong solves a couple critical problems:
1. Saves time. Not having to re-watch call recordings, not having to take notes while speaking with a customer, etc. I'm able to be more present in my work and do my job more effectively.
2. Helps me improve. The call statistics and analytics are an amazing resource for continuous improvement.

Gong is extremely helpful for call preparation and review
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of viewing a call outline and jumping into a specific minute of the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of anything here - maybe an easier time asking it specific questions on the recording but that might be difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is helping in training opportunities for sales reps, as well as for drilling into specific pain points by having the recording available to play over and over and also search for specifics.
Indispensable for client meeting management
What do you like best about the product?
The AI capabilities of Gong are simply amazing. They've really helped me improve my efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a minute or 2 for Gong notetaker to join a meeting after it gets invited. If the meeting is an ongoing meeting. It would be great if the notetaker can join immediately. I've experienced this issue on Microsoft teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps me keep track of key topics discussed during meetings and also for the key follow up points. I can also easily reference Gong and search through a meeting by keywords or by speaker.

That it records and breaks down the call. It's very convenient to go back through and see the highlights of the call

I have no dislikes as of now. It works great!

I'm able to focus on the what the client is saying, opposed to making sure I take thorough notes. Gong takes care of that for me!
A long-term memory assistant and essential planning tool.
What do you like best about the product?
I primarily use Gong for watching call recordings and reading the quick summaries that its AI provides (although the fact it doesn't distinguish between "start of meeting small talk" and "on-topic conversation" leads to some hilarious summary items). It's an every day tactical tool that helps make sure I have a fantastic layer of discovery to refer to while planning a course of action. Having all the call and email history combined in one place makes for convenient access as well, especially when untangled a cable-drawer caliber tangle trying to find specific snippet. Having the Transcript immediately available is absolutely a life-saver.
IT does so much more than I use it for on a day-to-day basis as well. I appreciate the powerful forecasting and pipelines tools, although, I don't dig into them much in my particular role.

What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, most of my gribes about how Gong operates are probably already solved, I'm just not aware of what the solution is or where it exists. So that may be the main problem: the feature set is so extensive that it can be overwhelming to just be turned loose in it. I discover new things all the time, but it would just be nice to know it's there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick summaries and amalgamation of multiple communications channels leads to efficiencies. I don't need to hunt down notes and information from multiple people, I can just check Gong.

If you have a company with limited resources, the integration with SFDC is limited, wish Gong supplied more integration support so end-users can realize full value

What do you like best about the product?
Gong has become the single source of truth for our sales team. From deal management to forecasting it's been really easy to gain adoption across the team.
The product is constantly evolving so it feels like Gong is one-step ahead when it comes to the needs.

What do you dislike about the product?
The additional products like forecast or engage come at an additional cost. Would be great to see these tools rolled into the core offering.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Gong we had a lack of visibility across our deals because information was siloed in several places like CRM, Email, Zoom, phone. Now all of this is centralized in one view via the Gong deal boards. Forecasting was also an ad-hoc process for us before adoption Gong Forecast, now we can measure forecasting accuracy and have confidence in what is going to close and when.
Ramp faster and greater insight into live deals
What do you like best about the product?
I've used Gong for 2+ years now and the product continues to get better and better. I use it every single day to review my own calls and those of senior reps enabling me to learn from more experienced colleagues. Access to this data helped me ramp much quicker as a newer AE.
The system is super easy to use and I've never had cause to require customer support. There are some great online resources split by persona should I ever need help with anything.

What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally the transcriptions / AI-generated call summaries are a little inaccurate. However, this is not something that undermines the overall massive value-add of the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Too much sales admin (taking notes, writing follow up emails, updating the CRM) means less time on generating new leads and closing pipeline. Gong reduces the time spent on manual tasks and enables me to do more selling!

When out bounding, gong records calls and provides detailed notes and actions

Honestly, I think the product is amazing. Sometimes translating into different languages is inaccurate

Gong is providing me with sales intelligence and recorded notes when speaking with prospects. Automating the process allowing me to action things quicker.
A must-have tool in your belt for insights into what's working and what's not in your GTM strategy
What do you like best about the product?
It is really easy to search, find and listen to customer and prospect calls that you can't be on yourself. I use the saved filters and streams the most, which brings relevant calls to what I'm looking for right to my inbox and an easy way to flag those for others. I use the tool multiple times a day.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to Gong I think is that I'm sure we are only using a portion of all its capabilities, and there is probably more that we could be doing with it to gain learnings more efficiently.

Gong helps us understand what's working and what's not in our customer and prospect calls with discovery, pitch, presenting the product, and ultimately moving a deal through the funnel. It helps those who aren't on the calls keep a pulse on the questions and objections and how the customer talks about their problem and how they think about our solution. It benefits us through finding the learnings that we need to take action on to keep improving all around - GTM, product offering, support, etc. It helps us stay customer-obsessed and efficient.
