What do you like best about the product?
The ability to easily search and identify key terms or words from the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any real complaints. Gong has addressed many of the weaker spots of the tool in the last year that we've been using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are two sides to the value Gong brings. We have a clear record of the call so that the sales reps can review the key takeaways from the calls and follow up or plan appropriately. We also use it for coaching and training. It helps to know small differences in how questions are answered or pitches are made to help other reps with best practices.

The fact that I can go back and review calls before a subsequent call.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful if the recorder didn't show in the GTM. Internal calls should have a reminder
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love the keyword tracking and ability to identify filler words.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would make sure to actually use this tool to receive value. My favorite "use case" for this tool is to use for reviewing calls before future calls.
Insights I never knew I needed
What do you like best about the product?
Reviewing calls is so easy with time stamps, breakdown of talk topics, and options to tag managers/coworkers. Not only for my own self development, but for our team to reference great examples of objection handling, pricing discussions, creative dialogue, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly no complaints, they have thought of more than I would have thought was possible. I have yet to try to catalog calls by context or theme, but that may be a nice feature if it doesn't already exist.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Their blog alone has helped me self analyze my own selling style. They do great statistical analysis of calls to find truths that can be realized by any type of sales person / sales organization. I am very self critical in my own strife to improve, and this tool has been paramount in keeping me streamlined in goal setting to run a better sales presentation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You don't know what you don't know until you have a way to analyze yourself! This brought forward so many insights I didn't even realize I needed. In retrospect, I can see my growth and development being slowed had I not had access to learnings brought forward by Gong!

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to listen to calls at faster speeds, ability to flag certain words / phrases, ability to tag other people in the organization for information relevant to their department
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything that I dislike thus far.

We are working on sales prospecting and using Sandler techniques to close deals.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is very easy to manage from a Sales Ops perspective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally have issues with users OutLook calendars being disconnected with no notification to admins or users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We purchased gong to help our Sales Managers have a better view of what their reps are saying and how they can help their sales process.

Can be a gamechanger
What do you like best about the product?
The biggest value for me as a salesperson is being able to re-listen to my calls. I thought I heard X, but after listening to the call, I prevented myself from addressing the wrong issue. That it syncs automatically is helpful (though it doesn't seem to update if I reschedule).
What do you dislike about the product?
The timeline tool (where it shows you talk about pricing, etc.) is not super accurate. Definitely room for improvement here, though I like it in theory.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lack of manager-seller insight into conversations. I've been able to send directly to my manager when I've been grilled on an opportunity and it's helped ease that pressure.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a go. At worst, you'll have seen what many sales orgs are moving to.

I love that I can hear words that I use a lot. The talk time is also huge for me. I like to make it a little competition with myself to decrease my talk time

For a little while it wasnt jumping into my calls but that was fixed
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes it WAY easier for my calls to be reviewed and evaluated. My manager can leave me notes within that call with a time stamp letting me know what was positive or how I could have worded something differently.

What do you like best about the product?
I love reviewing my calls and being able to input information while I study from them.

I have yet to discover a downfall with this platform. Enjoy the simplicity of the UI

What do you like best about the product?
The clear queue of all the calls that take place, which helps to provide a ton of transparency
What do you dislike about the product?
The recording that plays about 1 minute into the beginning of a call. This is awkward timing and should play within the first few seconds.

Transparency, listening back to better perfect product knowledge

What do you like best about the product?
The convenience of recording calls automatically + the AI involved to make providing feedback on a call extremely easy. The indexing and methods of finding calls or certain keywords is extremely helpful, too
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't record recurring calls and requires manual intervention to do so. Not a large setback but this improvement would be tremendously helpful in truly automating the process

Having record of conversations + being able to provide feedback very clearly at key points during conversations
