Amazing tool, especially for those working in different time zones
What do you like best about the product?
It's amazing that I can just listen into calls to find insights without having to actually hop on the call. Makes my work so much better and more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could also use its AI tools to find specific calls and not just analyze them. Our CSM could also be more helpful.

Getting insights about prospects and customers for marketing materials

Waiting for the AI search capabilities to get better. When I search for phrases the results are all over the place

As a PMM I am trying to glean insights about the sales process, the onboarding process, what kills deals, what accelerates deals as it relates to our products and with Gong I can mine all of the conversations for these insights
Gong Ai is a game changer

Using the built in AI to interrogate calls my team have had is a great way to unearth trends etc in customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't pull trends across multiple calls or clients at the same time

Not having to listen to hours and hours of calls to get insights
New Account Executive - Gong
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Gong summarizes conversations and highlights next steps. It keeps me on track with my clients and allows me to reference back to previous conversations. Gong's AI ask bar is incredibly helpful for gathering key pieces of information that you were not able to write down.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the AI doesn't quite grasp what we are talking about. There will be little errors in who said what. I'm sure that will improve with time.

Gong not only records what is said, but it provides action items for me based on our conversation.

I think the thing I like most is one of the most recent additions 'ask anything'.
How many times have you been in the situation where someone asks something about a deal, a meeting or communication from months ago? A small detail that now has a big impact.
Well ask anything enables one to search all calls, meetings and emails for that detail and read/listen back.
This is huge.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think the email follow up suggestions could take more context from notes. And in general the aim could learn a bit more on the person or company specifics.

We have been working and growing with Gong for about 2 years now. Great team, friendly and amenable, always trying to help and strategizing for our business - great partner, great results

the only downside is that I cannot think of more things for Gong to do! I will keep thinking and they will keep delivering

not much, maybe just deal flags which aren't always approproiate or up to date

Supporting with sales forecasting and data entry - great as a soundboard for analysing previous discussions and self improvement

What do you like best about the product?
The way it creates meeting notes is awesome!! always helpful and we don't need to listen to entire call, the detailing is out of the box.

Summarizing the call
A must have tool for Customer Success!
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Gong was during my own orientation, it gave me an all-access pass to view other customer facing calls and really learn how real-time CS calls goes with customers. It is also vital when recalling customer interactions and taking notes - the post-call transcript is a life-saver!
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there is room for the AI transcript tool to improve - sometimes it does not quite capture all of the key points from the conversation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has been helpful from a CS perspective in allowing me to focus on customers as opposed to note-taking and recall.
Powerful tool for insights to current and future business
What do you like best about the product?
We have implemented Gong for it's pipeline/forecast capabilities and have gained immediate insights to health status of opportunities, a marked improvement from previous practices. The implementation included a implementation manager. We made fast, logical progress, remained on schedule and succesfully rolled out the app despite the need for flexibility for changes made during the implementation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Forecasting is only available to be measure by calendar dates and not able to accept fiscal dates without a workaround. This seems like it would be an easy fix, but is not yet available.

Our pipeline and forecasting capabilities are greatly improved. We have increased accuracy and visibility to current and future opportunities.
