great to capture action items and keep track of requirements and discussion details
Also really helps when different attendees have different accents which can make it difficult to interpret or keep up with complex discussions.

Irreplaceable for Communication, Though UI Could Be Improved
What do you like best about the product?
Gong provides an organized location for all of your digital communications with customers to be captured and retained. That, along with it's AI call summaries and ability to quickly provide details about an account, make it an irreplaceable part of my day.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is a little plain, but it does not affect the quality of the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is capturing all of my calls in real time and providing notes and summaries from those calls. This allows me to stay engaged with my customers and not have to worry about jotting down every single thing, which results in more collaborative meetings.
Essential for Onboarding, but Manual Organization Can Be Tedious
What do you like best about the product?
As a new employee (Account Manager), Gong has been critical in my onboarding efforts. It's not only given me an entire library of call recordings separated by account and rep to prep for my sign off of mock demos, but it's also given me extremely detailed notes on each of the accounts that are in my name. I like this best about Gong as it's given me confidence to show up in my role knowing the inner workings of how my clients utilize our product (particularly given there are many ways to use it). I use it every day to uncover notes and watch my colleagues recordings to come up with ideas that make sense in my own workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a manual nature to using the platform specifically as it relates to segmenting calls and making folders for onboarding. It requires other reps to be diligent about what calls (demos, renewals, etc.) make sense to include in trainings and there is another layer of manager approval to keep these calls up to date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool addresses the challenge of manual onboarding and the lack of detailed notes from client conversations. It automatically takes notes and lets me use AI to ask questions about what is working well or why clients appreciate the platform they are using. With these notes, I am able to have more meaningful and productive discussions with my manager, colleagues, and clients about the status of their accounts.
Effortless Setup, Boosts Sales Training
What do you like best about the product?
I truly appreciate how Gong effortlessly integrates into my workflow by allowing me to record and watch sales meetings. This feature not only enables me to gain insights from my colleagues' meetings, but it also significantly aids in learning best practices and understanding how they pitch our solutions effectively. By observing these meetings, I've been able to tweak my sales pitch to be more effective. Moreover, I am impressed by Gong's auto-generated meeting follow-ups, which streamline the after-meeting process, saving me time and ensuring no details are overlooked. I love how Gong enables sales representatives to quickly ramp up their capabilities, which is a tremendous benefit in fast-paced environments. The user interface is designed intuitively, contributing to a smooth user experience. Overall, I find Gong to be an invaluable tool because of its ease of use and the significant value it provides in refining sales strategies and enhancing team performance.

I find the search functionality lacking and believe it can be improved for a better experience.

Great Call Analytics, But Integrations and AI Need Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it records the calls and gives a breakdown of the percentage of speaking time per person.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the ways it integrates with other tools can be clunky, and their AI feature feels more like a basic chat bot

Helps me when I’m selling because I can go back and review the calls, it auto keeps notes, and I can watch other calls to learn
Great for Post-Meeting Notes, But Intro Needs Improvement

It is helping me prep better for future meetings and allowing me to analyze key points discussed, etc.
Effortless Email Automation with Insightful Analytics—Saves More Time Than Expected!
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how easy it is to use the platform and how easy it was to learn and integrate. It saves me a lot of time by letting me set up flows for sending my emails, rather than having to send each one manually. I also find it helpful to view the analytics for every campaign I create, and understanding my results has been very informative.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to adjust to all the time saved as a result of using this software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of managing email campaigns manually, the Gong platform allows me to send them and track the results for all my campaigns in one place.
Intuitive AI Features Shine, But New Additions Can Be Overwhelming
What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love GONG. It's intuitive and easy to use, but what really stands out to me are its AI features and agents.
What do you dislike about the product?
This isn't exactly a dislike, but more of a suggestion. GONG has recently introduced several new AI-related features, and when I browse my GONG settings page, it can feel overwhelming with all the announcements and new options. It's easy to get lost among the updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I primarily use the call recordings and summaries, which are very helpful. In addition, I find value in the Pipeline insights, alerts and signals, as well as the AI-suggested actions. The MEDDICC playbook is also a useful feature.
Great Summaries and Sharing, but Slow Call Processing
What do you like best about the product?
It can summarize and outline conversations with context. I also like that you can share snippets of a conversation with someone who is/is not part of your organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can take a while for Gong to break down calls which makes it difficult when trying to follow up right after a meeting ends.

It is helping me point out the most important and crucial parts of my daily conversations. I then use these insights to improve my messaging
Call Recording Makes Gong Easy to Recommend
What do you like best about the product?
I find Gong incredibly valuable for its call recording feature, which is the centerpiece of my positive experience with the tool. This feature allows me to listen to my past calls, which in turn helps me to improve my skills in offering and proposing to clients, thus enhancing my performance. The setup process was not difficult, which made the transition smooth. I also appreciate the general quality of services provided by Gong, which gives me confidence in considering it again in the future. Additionally, the integration with SFDC ensures a seamless workflow, further bolstering the efficiency and effectiveness of using Gong in my workplace. Overall, Gong provides good services that meet my needs effectively, and I rate it an eight out of ten for recommendation.
