Great, Intuitive software
What do you like best about the product?
The software is easy to use and makes pulling and reviewing calls a breeze. It's incredibly intuitive and doesn't require extensive training to be able to use all the powerful features it contains.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't like about Gong is when I'm not able to find the calls I'm looking for. However, this typically isn't Gong's fault, rather it's the fact that the call was not able to be pulled into Gong which can be frustrating. But again, not Gong's fault.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in customer success and it helps us provide additional value to our customers in ways we wouldn't be able to if we weren't able to go back and listen to our calls and our salespeople's calls.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The only real recommendations that I have is to keep using it! It's a great product with great support and a lot of amazing features that keep impressing us. I've been pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to use, and how helpful it has been in our company.

Great tool for post-meeting review and analysis, accuracy, and really helps with call research and training.
What do you dislike about the product?
Takes a little while to get used to the idea that your bad calls will be recorded.

1. We now have better insights into the consistency and quality of our Discovery process
2. The transcription is amazing and has allowed us to fine-tune our demo scripts
3. Calls are attached the opp in Salesforce which allows our downstream implementation team to get up to speed quicker when receiving new accounts

What do you dislike about the product?
The cost and having to pay annual in advance
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramping AE's is a considerable effort when scaling as fast as Harri is - Gong allows our new AE's to get up to speed much quicker. This has a huge impact on our scaling model.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it's able to intelligently break down my calls, picking out filler words, turning points within the call, and the ability to speed it up to make faster reviews possible.
In addition, it's amazing to listen to the calls of the top reps, and learn so much faster!

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is the app, it's unable to play video calls like the website, but that's something that can be easily fixed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales training, specifically demonstrating best practices for sales calls by listening to real world examples.
It's much more effective than reading a powerpoint or a script on what to say versus hearing what real world reps are saying to convert prospects.

That it takes a while for the recordings to upload.

What do you like best about the product?
I think as a org, it would be nearly impossible to have your boss take time to be on every call. But with Gong, reps and managers can go over certain calls and get feedback to be a better rep.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real downside is that Gong will disconnect from our calendar and some calls won't log.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training of reps/better feedback. It has made our 1-1's a lot more productive, and team members can learn more from each other.

Gong allows us to quickly get feedback on our G2M & offers AEs easy access to learn from their peers

The platform! Ability to search for key words, etc. I also like the notifications for upcoming calls and completed calls.

It's a little hard to contract email notification settings.

Summary reports and better data visualization would be helpful
Very helpful in increasing the close rates and fast-track on-boarding

We love Gong.io for two reasons: It has always helped us close more deals and Fast_track the AE & SDR onboarding. A robust tool and a must-have for any sales team.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI could be better. The segmentation could have been better.

It didn't record the first 5 minutes of my call one time

TRAINING, win/loss analysis, scheduling every stakeholder on a call (they can just listen to the gong recording when it works for them)

When joining/listening to a live call, I wish the screen wasn't so small. It's hard to see what's being shown.
