A fantastic tool for improving my training calls
What do you like best about the product?
Gong's post-call analytics are great! I love getting into the stats to identify areas where I can improve my delivery, word choice and customer back-and-forth.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it's really great that Gong identifies users by name, it unfortunately sometimes can't tell certain users apart. So we will see things like "Caller1" or similar unclear names if there are more than 2 users per call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm making my calls tighter and making stronger language choices to help bring my clients to value.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is an absolutely fantastic tool for any employee who is going to be on the phone with a customer.
Easy to Use & Great Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Having the call analytics pretty immediate is awesome! The call's top topics, breakdown of each member speaking, interactions, etc. is great insight for the user (call host). The ability to access our entire company's calls is so useful and powerful. We are able to share recorded calls for teaching moments cross-functionally, which enables transparent insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
Externally shared Gong Calls expiring can be frustrating

Call referencing - the ability to teach and gather feedback for our team by sharing calls
Awesome Education Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Listening back on all of my colleagues calls across the entire organization presents a very useful educational tool. It allows you to have perspective of your product from every angle possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing i could possibly think of, and this is incredibly nitpicky, is that sometimes it times out after not being used for 30 minutes or so and I have to take 5 seconds to sign back in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to review all of my calls and listen in on everyone else, its an incredibly useful sales tool.
Best Call Review System
What do you like best about the product?
I love how it breaks down your call for you, it shows you how long you spend on a certain topic and lots of other helpful information. I love how I can listen to my other teammates calls so I can improve my own based off what I hear in their call.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not really anything I do not like. It works very well and is easy to use. I have no complaints about this product. Very satisfied by what I get out of Gong.IO
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am improving on my calls and launching out more partners every week. I have found that I benefit from listening to other teammates calls, they help me improve by hearing how they approach different topics. There is nothing better than being able to train yourself without having to ask people how they run their calls, I can just listen to them on my own time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think if you need help getting better at how you approach your calls, this is the system for you! I have gained so much from using Gong, all the data it gives you is very helpful and shows you where you can improve to get better results out of your calls.
Gong Makes Sales Easy!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the AI built into the platform that tracks key words that are used, length of time spent on certain topics, and the ability to review portions of any demo I'm running.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I've found yet, it's a really stellar product!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The objective and straightforward way to see exactly what was discussed on a given demo, who said what, for how long, and the ability to search by topics merely mentioned during a call.
NOT JUST A SALES TOOL
What do you like best about the product?
The plugin with Zoom that allows auto-recording of all my client meetings
What do you dislike about the product?
The GUI could be more streamlined. Dashboard view with personal KPIs would improve the experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Client Success problems specifically. With recordings of each of my Gong calls, I can search for keywords and be directed to within seconds of the exact spot in the recording. With so many clients calls on the go, Gong allowed us to know with certainty, exactly what was discussed.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoyed that you were able to see demos done live and not feel like you are intruding. Really was helpful to see how an account sales rep presents a products and then caters it to the customer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly didn't use product enough to see any flaws with the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to perform product/service demos to potential clients, allowing a video 1 on 1 with them and allowing them to share there difficulties so you can try to find a fit. Also being able to monitor and be back seat in analyzing performance for sales reps.

Great product to use for analytical purposes

What do you like best about the product?
I liked the concept of the product. Being able to fully use a natural language processing and machine learning to help train and suggest information to sales people and other customer service reps is a nifty - especially with it being able to transcribe in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest, not a whole lot. A lot of the issues I have had (transcribing related) have often been fixed with product refreshes and updates. Sometimes getting it set-up when calling a prospect can be a bit cumbersome as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We like to use it for analyzing sales calls and ensuring that all employees are closing deals with ethics and also using the right language on calls. Moreover, it can be used for coaching as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely worth a shot if you're looking to improve from areas of customer service and sales. As a start up business, I like supporting them because I think that all in all they're headed in the right direction as a company. If you are having a problem with one of the features, I would recommend doing a data or a product refresh or even an update, because I have noticed that this fixed many of the concerns that I had.
Great coaching tool
What do you like best about the product?
Whether in the on boarding stage of a new sales role or just trying to improve/polish my selling skills, Gong provided a fantastic library of resources from my team/company. It also helped me be more concise on calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcription feature is not very accurate; thus, I still took notes during my calls, making this feature irrelevant. The platform was also a bit unorganized. It was hard to separate teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helped me identify the amount of time a customer is speaking vs. sales rep. This helped me be more concise when on calls, as well as improve my listening skills.
Great Sales tool that makes Recording calls and meetings simple
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is s easy to use, and tenured reps can use it not only to go back and listen to calls for notes etc but also for continued training to ensure my sales skills are staying sharp. This is also a great tool for ramping up new employees, they can listen to multiple reps and their approach to different sales calls, from voicemails they leave to an online demo and presentations. This allows new reps to ramp up quickly without having to wait for a sales rep to book a call and invite them. They can listen and then debrief with each specific sales reop ensuring everyone's time is being used wisely. Prior to gong recording call was too much of a hassle to do it on any type of consistent basis.

There isn't anything I've pinpointed as of yet that has been negative
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coaching Sales and our Customer Success in areas of improvement while listening to their calls. The amount of time we are spending to ramp up new reps has decreased significantly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're thinking about using Gong, don't hesitate, they make it so easy to use, you'd be silly not to use it if its available to you and you in sales, service, training, or support.
