What do you like best about the product?
It is a great learning tool to hear good and bad conversations and develop better talking tracks between you and your clients. Awesome, I love it; great for any business to use.

Nothing the platform is amazing and easy to use

Necessary evil that will make you better at your job

What do you like best about the product?
- Being able to listen to my colleague's calls
- Being able to share recordings with prospects after the calls
- Analysis of who was speaking when, and for how long
- Keyword identification
- Ability to speed up the playback
What do you dislike about the product?
This is not a fault of the software, but I do not like having to ask permission upfront for the OK to record. That's just a legal thing though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong allows us to ID the best calls for training purposes. It also makes note-taking much more accurate -- instead of "remembering" what a prospect said, a process that can be wrought with bias, we can refer back to the prospects own words. I am also listening to myself critically to understand where I can improve my approach.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You may get some pushback from your team; listening to yourself can be a painful process. But ultimately, it's worth it.

What do you like best about the product?
The aspect of gong I like best is the ability to bring in managers and peers to review calls and offer suggestions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcript inst always correct. However, That might be something that will improve as the software learns my speech patterns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduces loss of information that i didn't have time to notate while on calls. This has helped me balance my flow and the ratio of my talking/listening.

- transcription of calls to easily find a specific moment in a call that you'd like to replay

- Sometimes calls don't record, this may be due to our screen sharing platform

- giving/receiving targeted feedback
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sales Person - If you never want to forget specific information in a sales cycle you would greatly benefit from this software.

Sales Manager - If you'd like to help your sales reps improve performance on specific areas of their sales process and create training material this is for you.

Product team - If you'd like to share product feedback to your product team this is very helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
Where to start. First, I no longer have to take notes which means I can focus exclusively on what the person on the other end is saying. Trends analysis. How do I rank among my team? Valuable data! How about the analytics from thousands of calls and winning sales metrics! Amazing. Love this product. Would highly recommend.
What do you dislike about the product?
Literally, nothing that I don't like, but since I have to write something - I don't like that I can’t use it for in-person meetings or for conversations I have over the phone that are not on GTM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems: remembering what they said. Worrying about taking notes. Not having visibility into how much I am talking vs them. Looking at analytics among the team. Receiving feedback and coaching.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly highly recommend for sales organizations. As a salesperson, this tool has directly lead to me closing more business and being more on top of my pipeline.

Really not that much. I guess the AI could be better, but it's already really good

What do you like best about the product?
Especially for new team members, you can get a great sense of your company's talk-track and understand your value proposition. Listening to your team's calls gives you a better sense of what your prospects are saying so you can better prepare for your next call.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is still a few things that need to be built out - overall, not much to dislike. The transcription isn't always accurate, but I don't feel that's where the true value lies, anyway.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to better our service offering to our customers, based on real-time feedback from our customers and prospects alike. Also, you don't have to take notes on calls and you can focus on really listening and being present with the prospect having the peace of mind that the call will be there for review afterwards.

What do you like best about the product?
Transcripts are great, topic recognition, reviewing notes without even taking them
What do you dislike about the product?
Notification emails should not be sent before a call to a prospect. Because if I cancel the calendar invitation and this gong email arrives anyway it causes uncomfortable explaining and apologies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training in group sessions preparing a gong call is great and we analyze if we follow or how to improve our sales process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get the more senior sales people to organize training sessions based on calls.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can use Gong to re-listen to my calls. Understand what went well and what didn't. I can focus on my calls when I am on the call instead of stressing about taking notes. I can always re-listen to my calls

Honestly, the only negative I have is that if someone else starts the meeting (if I created it) the call does not record. It's an issue if we are all in one room and my computer isn't the one that is being used as the main
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to save time on calls taking notes
I love that I can just shoot a message through Gong to my manager and get feedback on a specific part of the call or on the whole call. It really allows me to get real honest feedback. Instead of me relaying messages all the time, he can listen to it himself.
