Great Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ability to search words within the software and have percentages of talk time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It sometimes takes a while for the call to upload to gong but nothing to crazy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the problem of how to speak to customers and what questions get them talking more. I have realized that being able to streamline calls leads to higher productivity and better learning.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong segments our conversations down to specific words. This software is not only easy to use but also provides our sales team with realtime feedback on our conversations so that we can be constantly improving! It's also great to review old calls from our best sales people to learn from their conversations. We use Gong recordings to train newcomers, measure effectiveness of key words, and review our sales process. I personally benefit greatly from the "filler worlds" section of the conversation breakdown. It's shown me how distracting fluffy phrases like "sort of" and "you know" can be in conversation.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to organize our conversations into folders so that all of our best conversations can be in the same place. (This might even be a current feature that I'm not utilizing).
We also experienced some company-wide technical difficulties due to failed communication between Gong and Outreach. However, this was eventually resolved and our recordings were retrieved. This may be a state law issue, but gong does not capture recordings for in-bound calls.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong enables our sales team to review and analyze our calls with clients which helps us streamline our sales process. We use gong in every deal opportunity from initial qualification to sales close. We also use Gong in our sales training process by providing new hires with real-world example calls which we've found to be more effective than traditional role-play approaches.

Extremely useful sales tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is extremely helpful to go back to my calls, and calls of my teammates in order to improve my skills and ensure that I have taken note no all necessary info when speaking with clients

For the most part there isn't much I dislike about gong. I feel it could perhaps be slightly differently organized to help find calls

I am able to evaluate my performance, learn from others, and make sure there is never a missed piece of info that is relevant from speaking with a client. It is also useful to have leadership members of my team listen to calls so they can give advice

Every sales org should use this tool. It is immensely helpful for training purposes, as well as personal development

What do you like best about the product?
The best part about the tool is that it actually analyzes for you call for you and acts as a sales coach.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really do not have any dislikes - I would like to see an app version and there might already be one?!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong allows me to automatically record my calls/webinars and then analyzes the call within the same day. It automatically marks the call for different portions of the conversation so you can pick up where you might talk about pricing, etc. Also, it allows you to run reports to see how much you're speaking in relation to how much the other caller is.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool and should definitely be used to it's full potential for not only recording calls but being used as a coaching tool!
A must have tool for CS Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Sharing conversations and transcription.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI. There are a lot of hidden features
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer Success. I believe that Gong is a must of tools for CS. The times saved in notes and the ability to share customer conversations can easily justify the price. Simply put, My CS team would take 30 minutes to take notes put into our CRM. In Gong, we can simply past the transcription. We can share the conversation to help with escalations and response from other departments. It is a must-have for CS teams.

Innovative Tool with Endless Benefits
What do you like best about the product?
Hard to choose! A few of my favorite functions include the written transcript view, segmentation by keywords, and the separation of audio channels. The transcript allows me to parse through for easier searches, which is incredibly helpful. Keywords show me what filler words I'm overusing to improve my conversations. The separate audio channels automatically show me percentages of how much I'm talking vs. the prospect. Keeping that in mind, I've been able to decrease my percentages from 75-80% to a much more concise 50%.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, I love the Gong platform. One function I would find useful would be the ability to have my own individual Library with private folders to organize my calls. I could be wrong, but it seems like I'm only able to create folders in Library shared amongst the company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an employee with no previous Sales experience, this tool has been a life-saver. I would not have been able to learn as rapidly or as efficiently as I have without the ability to review & improve my calls. In addition, the tool is so user-friendly & intuitive, it's truly an impressive experience to utilize.

This tool is so useful! I absolutely recommend if you're looking for a way to improve operationally.

The analytics are amazing and it gives an understanding of your tendencies.

I have not found anything yet that I would dislike.

A great tool for new reps to get up to speed quicker. Gives you the ability to listen to specific sections of the calls. Allows you review everything after your call to find missing details and pain points.

What I like best is the constant improvement. Gong is very responsive to user feedback. The call breakdowns have come a long way, and now they're probably my favorite part of the tool as it helps me jump to specific points of the conversation. This tool is massively helpful for call reviews & coaching.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I can think of, because they keep improving. At first I thought the call breakdown was rudimentary, now it's much more detailed. Then, I wanted to be able to rename calls. Now they can be renamed. Again, Gong is very, very responsive to user feedback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong gives our team the ability to improve with each call by reviewing the stats page, best practices, and their own calls.

What do you like best about the product?
With Gong, I can be totally in the conversation and not worry about taking notes. Going back and listening to the call makes it easy to not only extract the key information but, also things I may have missed.

There’s not anything I dislike about the software. I’m sure Gong will be adding more features in the future but it works perfectly how it is today.

Record meetings, playback and word search, feedback.
