Gong is a game-changer
What do you like best about the product?
As a sales rep, I've spent years searching for tools to help me optimize my day. Gong is phenomenal in its ability to upload calls, break them down, and provide insights and tools to get better every day. I can't imagine not having Gong in my day-to-day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes takes a bit longer than ideal to upload calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a sales rep, it helps me solve forgetting a key detail or aspect of my call. I can see at a high-level how often I'm talking, pausing, and controlling the call. It's helped me become more efficient and organized.
Absolutely priceless for the busiest of people
What do you like best about the product?
Gong gives you the ability to listen to calls anywhere at anytime - which is priceless when you are busy balancing client calls during the day. It's also great for reviewing calls in an effort to coach associates, or even to remember the full conversation you had with a client :)
What do you dislike about the product?
There is absolutely nothing that I dislike about this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coaching of associates by reviewing calls, and helping manage busy schedules by being able to listen to calls later on.

Gong is such a wonderful way to track your calls and document important information collected! I don't know how I would do my job without it!

Nothing. I wouldn't change anything about Gong!

Better analysis into my calls and metrics.
Useful application for sales and product marketing
What do you like best about the product?
Relatively easy to get started and use. Well organized. Reliable transcripts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have to be careful of not overloading people with recordings. Best if used to solve very specific challenges and use cases - onboarding, best-of calls, market/industry research, sales cycle reviews.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Good for running sales programs - folders and organization is really helpful.
Never seen a product like this before
What do you like best about the product?
My role is a first point of contact for potential clients, and I pass off leads to the next level for the sale to close. It is great to listen to the leads close on Gong. It is also amazing to me how they transcribe and you can click through the different parts of the call based on the keywords.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to see all the sales that I set up in one spot. Not sure if this is a feature already but that would be awesome to have one screen with every Gong call that I put into the pipeline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to learn what the salespeople above me say to potential clients and how they battle resistance.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong makes tracking sales calls so much easier. From the ability to go back and listen to detailed, analyzed recordings, to having an actual transcript of my conversation that I can search, Gong takes the tedious clerical work out of sales, allowing me to spend more time engaging with customers and seeing which sales techniques are most effective. Also, the app is awesome. I love being able to download my calls and listen to them on the commute home when I'm on the train. I can't wait to see what new features the gong team can come up with.
What do you dislike about the product?
I couldn't find a way to see transcripts on the app. Otherwise, I think the overall experience is fantastic, speaking as a user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The amount of time we save now with gong is incredible. It allows me to focus more on having a dialogue with clients, rather than multitasking by writing notes and such. In order to have the same output as before, I would practically need an assistant transcribing all my notes and listening to my calls with me. Now, it makes it so much easier to just focus on my work, making my calls, and knowing that Gong is taking care of everything for me in the background.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely give it a shot. I wouldn't want to go without it now that we've implemented it. All the sales managers say the same thing: it's great.

The gong recordings breakdown is amazing. Shows you how long each person speaks and topics included.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be difficult to navigate to find specific calls.

Continuous training/reviewing your own calls is a great benefit for the sales team.

Make sure to make use of the reviewing capabilities. Great sales practice.

What do you like best about the product?
Since we have implemented Gong! we have great insights into what our customers and prospects really care about, and we have been able to tailor our communications accordingly.
Gong ! is a great tool for sharing account information across teams, or when it needs to be reassigned. The company keeps innovating and coming up with new features such as Deal intelligence.
I am looking forward to exploring other new features like playbooks and text to speech.

What do you dislike about the product?
The compliance section could use a bit more refinement to allow us to control when and how calls are recorded or not. Despite recent improvements it is still lacking in flexibility and we have had to completely turn off recordings for some team members that could also benefit from it.
The "this call is being recorded" message does not always play at the right time. Occasionally calls fail to record.

Reduce the need to ask the same question over and over again (qualification, discovery, scoping).

Give your users a period to get used to being recorded, rely on the early adopters to start getting value and then sell internally.
Make sure you understand your compliance requirements - both for prospects / customers and for employees.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it connects and integrates with my ZOOM so every time I use ZOOM it records my calls automatically b
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn’t that easy to copy and paste a number for invites. It has to be integrated into something for it to work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits of gong is coaching. My manager and peers can listen to my calls and provide feedback.
High quality analytics and very easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use, setting it up is fast and simple, and it integrates vert simply with conference bridges. Constantly being updated, and delivers very detailed statistics for managers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Indexing can be kind of confusing, and searching for specific calls that haven't been highlighted can be tricky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Completely revitalized our sales training process, gives us the tools to coach salespeople using real, prescriptive advice while also making call reviews less onerous.

Start early and build it into your call reviews. It very significantly improves call coaching.
