The Best Resource
What do you like best about the product?
Next to SalesForce, Gong is King. I've been dreaming of ways to listen and review calls this easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
More accuracy during transcription. Obviously this is difficult with first names and company names.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Selling more, picking up key phrases my colleagues use, downloading transcripts.

What do you like best about the product?
I am a huge fan of the mobile app. It allows me to coach on my commute, from the gym, etc.
I also love the keyword search since many of the terms we use in our sale are bespoke to our industry (ie competitors).

What do you dislike about the product?
With such a cutting edge technology there are bugs but that is to be expected. They have addressed them quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scaling myself as a coach. I used to be a top performing rep and one of my challenges in my transition to leadership was always needing to be in the deals. Gong has allowed me to step out of the deals and into coaching as well as freeing up time for business strategy.

I love that everything is recorded and I can listen to things in fast mode. I also love sending prospects videos.

Nothing really. I find it to be easy and useful

More useful coaching, better follow ups with prospects, better calls.
Gong is a Sales ACCELERATOR!
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use for both reps and managers. It's so easy to use, my reps are going in to Gong, listening to calls and asking me for feedback before I've even had a chance to listen to the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only drawback is that Gong requires a lot of hours of recordings in order to identify reps and call segments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Speed and effectiveness of call coaching.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have a lot of recordings loaded in to Gong so that it can learn your sales/support process quicker than starting from scratch.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy being able to listen to my team's calls on off hours which alleviates pressure from my day. I can focus on a task and know that I can hop into Gong and listen to an intro call or watch a demo when things get slower. It also helps to be able to listen to my calls and see the metrics of who talked the most, topics, and recommended follow up tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app has come a long way but before it was hard to watch a demo on your mobile phone. Another area that I can see being less useful is recording all calls (including voicemails) when maybe you'd only like to have a library of discovery calls, demos, pricing discussions, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Where to begin! Before Gong we we're running from meeting to meeting to stay up to date with ongoing opportunities and train in real-time. Now this alleviates a lot of pressure and gives p[eace of mind that I can log onto Gong and find any team member's call and listen at my own pace. A lot of time saved and a greater feeling that this tool can help my career advancement.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This tool has really made an impact on coaching and feedback sessions because it gives more information than simply a recorded call. It also let's those looking to advance their career an opportunity to absorb information and train in their off hours.

I love the fact that I can not worry about missing something on a client call, because you can always go back in Gong and listen to it over. You can even search for it!

Not much, I think the platform is great.

This helps our CSMs, Professional Services, and Sales Teams hone in their talk tracks and improve their craft!
Must have for your sales tech stack
What do you like best about the product?
I'll put Gong right up there with LI Sales Nav and SFDC as must have tools for your sales tech stack.
As an AE, Gong provides tremendous value. It allows me to focus more on my prospect during the call versus my note taking, helps me better understand areas to improve in my talk track (filler words are mind blowing!), and enables me to learn from my peers by listening to their calls.
Big shout out to the content they produce, too. Not fluff, impactful reads all around.

Would like to do more from mobile. Specifically, would be great to have video avaiable like it is on desktop.

Powerful tool for improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I'm able to improve my demonstrations. Gong gives us the ability to rewatch our demonstrations and take notes in an intuitive way, these notes are attached to the exact time in the video when you take them. They also offer analytics like talk percentages, interactivity, patience. It's a really neat tool to sharpen your skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile app doesn't seem to be able to display fullscreen for the video of the demo when you turn the screen, this makes it borderline impossible to read the information presented within your demonstration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong allows me to quickly sharpen my presentation skills. It also allows me to rewatch my demos for key facts and ensures that nothing falls through the cracks.

Creation of library / folders to store / retrieve calls for future learning and onboarding; review calls at 1.5 speed to pick up details quickly; ease of highlighting and sharing call snippets with team members; call comments / sharing

We aren't quite sure how to best manage our named users

We're quickly learning key areas of our sales process in which we're both over and under delivering - none of us are close to perfect and Gong enables each person + their Manager to discover areas for coaching and improvement; in other cases we're able to highlight and share outstanding execution; I expect we'll see strong ROI due to the improved execution
