Gong offers more features than built in recorders

What do you like best about the product?
Transcription makes it easy to find what I need from a call. It is easy to share calls with clients and teammates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Video quality is poor.

There is no option to pause recording. You either have to let it run or kick it out of the call entirely.

Does not join last second calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can share meetings with clients so they can refer back to the video instead fo contacting me with questions. It was useful to watch call while I was being trained.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Useful for transcription and sales analytics. It is not as great for support calls.

What do you like best about the product?
Thanks to Gong, I can easily recall conversations, quickly identify the key challenges and goals, and be strategic in my pitch and communications to increase sales velocity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any issues with Gong. There are times that the written transcript is off, but it could be due to my enunciation, and I'm able to easily listen to that snippet to clarify, so it's isn't a major issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My follow up messaging is much more tailored since I'm able to reference the call. Our sales leadership is also able to give us great feedback on specific aspects of our pitch which is both motivating and constructive.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out! Picking up a conversation you had weeks ago with a prospect is effortless with Gong.

Bang the Gong

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is by and far one of my favorite tools that I use, and not only because their marketing material is so on point.
At one of my former companies I worked to try and implement gong after a trial, but because we were using a competitor for no cost at all, I had a hard time convincing management that there was value there.
Let me tell you, they really missed out. Gong is an amazing system and I use it regularly to evaluate and re-evaluate my sales process to make sure i'm being the best resource for my prospects.
Any sales manager who is not using Gong, should be using Gong to help their team reach their full potential. [It's like running in sneakers for the first time after running barefoot your whole life].
What do you dislike about the product?
i wish there was some incentivisation aspect to the system like, giving props or a like for things that other salespeople have done well.
Additionally, if there was an easier way of categorizing stellar calls for ramping salespeople so they could listen in during their first few weeks, that would be amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I firmly believe that I owe it to my prospects to be aware of their issues and help them solve in the best way I can. Without Gong, there's no way I'd be able to 100% keep track of all the conversations that I'm having, and i can guarantee that I'd be letting my prospects down while getting lost in all of the back and forth.
Gong allows me to be the best resource for the people I'm trying to help, and also helps differentiate me from other salespeople who aren't putting in the time or effort.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is very easy to use to manage your recorded calls and share with prospects. The stats and unique data behind is incredibly powerful. A must have solution for any sales organization!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an easier way to see all of my calls - I have to search for a specific one each time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It improves deal cycles and personal development.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how you can search for specific words, tag different topics, and comment on specific moments in the call for strong pieces of training.
What do you dislike about the product?
What's not to like? I wish that I've had it my entire sales career.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scalable coaching and better insight into forecasting! By listening to the first 10 mins of a call or jumping to the prospect, I can tell which opps are real and which aren't.

I am a big fan of how easy it is to use.

nothing! I have not had a single issue with Gong

Rather than focusing on typing notes and missing things that my prospects are saying, I can rest easy knowing Gong is recording, so I can focus on the conversation

What do you like best about the product?
Gong gives me very useful stats after each call (talk ratio, patience etc.) that help me to improve on my conversation skills
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, not available in German but not a problem at all
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduced my speaking time which made the conversation much more engaging and enjoyable. It also helped me to get more valuable information from my discussion partner, and eventually saves me plenty of time :-)

What do you like best about the product?
I usually take best-practices and top sales lines from my colleagues and usually I don't have the time to listen to all this and transcribe myself. It makes it easier for me to just open the already transcribed conversation and just let me copy and paste these lines for my reference. Since the robot is not perfect, I love that there is a timestamp on parts of the conversation to help me listen back and realize what has really been said,
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many recognized and unrelated topics that topic list can no longer be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When coaching, it's easiest to just go back to a conversation, search a keyword and find proof of whatever has been discussed.

What do you like best about the product?
It changed the way how we judged calls in light of the industry's best practices.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not like dislike, but the Gong mobile apps can better in UI and UE.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's not just Gong's platform, the blogs and weekly training videos are great. They help me implement the strategy/techniques and listen through to know if I've done the job the right way and any improvemets.
