User friendly and helps improve sales calls!

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to see all my phone calls with access to full recordings and transcription! It changes everything and allows reps to become better at calling especially cold calls!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to have even more features that can help me analyze the calls with more stats
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes in the sales call, you can't recall all the details and when which things were said, and this is super important to go back and analyze the calls and the interaction from the other end

Would love to see more statistics that help analyze calls better

Amazing Sales Tool

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is great for sales teams that want to have access to recordings from throughout the day, transcripts of the calls. It also has all kinds of stats that also help you improve your conversations with customers.
Something that personally helps me is the talking ratio :) without Gong- I would have no way of looking back on my calls and improving!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I would improve about Gong- I cant wait to see what more tools in the future they will provide into order to give more insights to personal and teams calls!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly the talking ratio, interactivity with clients, remembering what conversations were important for the day/week, being able to look at team mates calls in order to use that to improve, each demos of account executives and using the transcripts

If you have a sales team- its something that everyone can benefit from! Recommend to all businesses no matter which industry to help improve and grow sales!

Awesome way to perfect sales demo

What do you like best about the product?
Gong allows you to review sales presentations and understand what areas you/your colleagues are doing well in while easily focusing in on specific areas that might need some improvements. Your colleagues can share calls with others, leave feedback on certain time stamps, and even share calls with prospects!
What do you dislike about the product?
The translations can be a bit off if speaking too fast or if you are using unique product terms but other than that there really are not many negatives about gong!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You can easily understand what areas of your sales pitch you're doing well in but more importantly if you are struggling in certain areas, you can share your calls with colleagues for feedback

It's extremely user friendly and a great sales coaching tool!

What do you like best about the product?
I love how I can listen to other agents to get ideas and more training for myself at my leisure. I love the phone app which allows me to listen even if I am out and about.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike about Gong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At times, I will miss something in my conversation with my clients. I love how I can go back and review to fill in the blanks. Then, I do not have to call my clients' back to ask them again.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Not only is Gong an amazing tool for training purposes for the company .. but also, more importantly, it will provide a reference point if something is missed in the conversation with your customers. It has saved me many times!! Computer and technology hiccups! I didn't have to call my client back because all their info was lost. I just logged into Gong and reviewed my conversation! Voila!!

Very useful product in a call-focused environment

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to see words or phrases that concert more people, my boss being able to review my calls and make comments/suggestions, being able to review calls again before a follow up
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes all day for calls to be imported. This generally isn’t a big deal unless I’m passing the call to the next step and they need to review it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to quickly look at what words and phrases were successful is key

Essential Sales Coaching Tool!

What do you like best about the product?
I've managed SMB to Enterprise reps and everyone can benefit from this tool. The integrations into pretty much every calendar, tele-provider, video conferencing tool, etc. makes it super easy to launch. From there, the UI is just clean and simple. As a manager, there are features that are essential:
- Easily see who's talking more; your rep or prospect
- Quickly gauge most popular topics or phrases, i.e. pricing, or maybe you launched a new product
- The ability to provide feedback and it just auto tags the time
- The ability to store best calls in a library
- The ability for you to tag other team members to hear the call (i.e. @billy check out how @susie absolutely nails this discovery call)
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. Sometimes the transcript isn't perfect, but it's hard to find things that are lacking in this product. It really just comes down to implementing and coaching your reps to use the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using it to implement new training and call tracks, coach reps on the sales process, and discover what are the top complaints or praise we hear from our customers. In addition, we can easily pull some insights on what top reps are doing vs our middle performers. It's become clear it's an essential tool in our SMB and Mid-market sales orgs, less so in Enterprise.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you've got a growing sales team, this is one of the best ways to coach them up and find out what your best reps are doing. Highly recommend and it's worth the investment.

Most helpful tool for someone working in Sales.

What do you like best about the product?
The analysis and point of interest. I don't need to take any notes on my calls or use another tool to write down the points of interest when speaking with customers on VC. This way on the call the customer has my full attention and I can watch it again later to find the main points of interest plus any follow-up actions I may have missed or not noted. It is literally a lifesaver. I can also watch other people on my team to learn new techniques and call flows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only thing I will say I'm not fond of is when the recording chimes in to say 'this call will be recorded'. It always pops in right in the middle of someone speaking and can be a bit off-putting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Less note-taking. More engagement when on a VC. I can watch myself back and learn from each call and see what I need to change. I can review different topics discussed and I can share with my team for constructive feedback as well.

Brilliantly simple and effective

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easily Gong integrates with our current sales stack and allows me to seamlessly, record, review and analyse my calls. It's really easy to share calls with prospects as recaps too and I love the realtime feedback you receive after calls for things like talk ratios.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes with hangouts it can be a little delayed jumping in to the call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to record, review and analyse calls was previously a laborious task, Gong has replaced the manual recording and streamlined how we analyse calls.

Extremely useful tool to hone your craft

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy that not only am I able to listen to me or my colleagues' calls but that Gong also breaks down statistics such as talk ratio and interactivity. This allows me to get a quick understanding of how well the conversation went in terms of the KPIs that me and my manager set. Gong even tracks how many questions I asked during the conversation so that I can ensure there is sufficient dialogue.
Essentially, Gong allows me to be a student of the game in the same way that a pro athlete reviews game tape and for that, I am very grateful.

Gong is also useful for collaborative purposes. For example, an Account Executive can review a call that a Sales/Business Development Representative had before entering his/her follow up call with that same prospect.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that every single one of my calls aren't recorded in Gong. To my understanding, this has something to do with state recording laws or something of that nature so it may not be Gong's fault. Nevertheless, I understand how valuable it is to be able to listen to calls so I hate when I don't have that privilege. It may be helpful to include some note of exactly why all calls aren't recorded so that users can predict whether or not they will be able to refer back to the recorded call after hanging up with a prospect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to identify areas of my, or coworkers, conversations that can be improved. It also helps my manager with coaching as he is able to speak to specific conversations as opposed to broader habits that I may not be able to notice myself (without concrete proof/examples).
