Great tool to send resources!
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to send call recordings for my customers to review. It's also an amazing learning tool to see how I can improve.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes calls will not get recorded and it will not pick up what I'm showing on my screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps me see where I can improve as well as being able to record my live demo's and send them to clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I suggest for those who are wanting to learn how to improve on their phone skills to use Gong. It's a great learning tool and can even be a good sales tool to help you close deals!

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Gong joins my calls immediately. My prospects never have to worry about someone else being on the call because it says Streak (the name of my company)

That sometimes, Gong doesn't join my calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has allowed me to go back and listen to my demo calls. Since my team can also listen to my calls, we are able to provide constant feedback to each other. I love how we can comment on each other's calls as well (in particular places of a call as well). Since it also records the screen, we can learn from each other's demos.

I love the analytics about talk ratio and the breakdown of subjects throughout the call! I also like the ability to share the call using a url to the person you had a call with.

There really isn't anything I dislike about Gong!

I have exponentially improved my sales skills by listening to my calls and focusing on the areas where I need improvement.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is a huge help to my day-to-day sales growth and has saved me time and help me self-improve my discovery, demo, and pricing/proposal calls. By allowing me to easily search through calls by key-word and share calls with clients my sales process has become more refined and easier to provide resources and added value to prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Gong at times does not auto-attach itself to my GoToMeeting meaning that if I don't record the cal in another way then I may lose it and that is a big risk when I need to send demo recordings and review calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong solves the problem of having to listen to entire recording calls to find pieces of the call that are important for me to review or that I might have forgotten. The keyword search is awesome and lets me go the exact part of the call I was looking for in seconds and also provides the full transcript of what the customer said!

Gong gives you recommendations based on your call. From pauses to percentage of time you spent talking versus the client.

The translation tool is pretty inaccurate.

Gong is the best tool I've used while onboarding at a new job, I can listen to calls my colleagues made in the past and bring myself up to speed on accounts I'll be working on.

The organization can be difficult, when I search for an account no calls show up.

Gong Helps Me Close Deals
What do you like best about the product?
Gong's ability to transcribe sales calls into a searchable script is particularly useful, it allows me to find the exact information that I'm looking for without going through the entire call. That said, the ability to listen to a call at 2x speed makes that process pretty painless as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
They've run into a few problems with recording calls for Google Hangouts recently, but these were resolved fairly quickly, so I don't think it's fair to judge them too harshly on that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to send over a recording or a call to customers is very useful. It takes the work out of long follow up emails and customers generally like to be able to share these recordings with their team.
Intuitive, Forward-Thinking
What do you like best about the product?
Having access to your sales call notes after the call, transcribed and audio-recorded, allows you to focus in on the call without scrambling to capture details. That you can easily use the recordings as internal training material and information sharing is simply brilliant -- we love the time-stamped at-mentions. Plus all the stats. Such an awesome tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm rating this as a 10/10 because I haven't yet found anything I dislike about the software.

We're recording sales calls for note keeping and internal info sharing and training. It helps us focus in on and serve our prospects more effectively.
Makes onboarding much easier and faster
What do you like best about the product?
I can download calls on my iPhone and listen to them while I am commuting,
I also like to see the transcripts of old calls so I can quickly get an overview of what went before in an account.

What do you dislike about the product?
Well, it is hard to say. Maybe I would like to be able to share a link to a call in Slack. I am not sure if there is an integration for that. I would also like if I could "follow" certain reps and our companies and get alerts when new calls are uploaded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can go back and read/hear what I and the client said after a call.

If you have a growing sales org then you should really consider Gong to make sure people get up to speed quickly.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is great – you can see transcripts, search for certain words or phrases, compare metrics on things like Longest Monologue or Longest Customer Story, and incorporate more draw data into pinpointing what separates top reps from mid to low.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure if there's a way to classify calls so that you can separate out analytics by call type and lead type. That would be a helpful extra layer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can make sure reps are using approved talk tracks, messaging, phrasing, and more easily review their calls for their development and the team benefit.

Ask a lot of detailed questions about the metrics you'd like readily available.
