What do you like best about the product?
It's really important in a sales role to have insight into your strengths and weaknesses. Sometimes it's easy to get into a rut or a certain way of speaking with clients, and it's important to be able to take a high-level approach with actual data to see what you're doing well - and what needs to be improved upon. Gong's analytics provide this in spades.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is an element of customization required with Gong, i.e., needing to input words or phrases you are looking for. Because I believe this has to be done on an Admin level, it can be a pain to get these added into the search.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps our team see what improvements we need to make, down to the actual call. The talk ratio is a quick and easy way to see when you're talking too much and need to be listening more. It can also help us make correlative arguments for reps who are doing very well and showing what they excel at to potentially show WHY they are doing well.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the stats and being able to understand how long I am talking on a specific call and what type of topics I am bringing up. Also, being able to go back and easily find and listen to a recording from a previous call is essential as I move deals along in my process and continue to build a use case based on each conversation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not too much really. Sometimes the call transcript doesn't pull in accurately but i'm assuming that is more based on the clarity of the call and how clear people are speaking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
-Improving my overall call structure and consistently iterating on my phone/sales skills by leveraging Gongs real-time call transcription data
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have a growing inside sales team Gong is essential for reps to build their skills and managers to effectively coach.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can really drill down into specific areas of the call without having to listen to an entire hour by using key words. My team also listens to the SDRs discovery calls prior to their call with the prospect. Totally eliminates the need to note taking and interpretation of those notes by someone who didn't write them.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are addicted so there's not much we dislike!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Has streamlined the process for internal customer handoffs. We've also seen faster ramping time as onboarders can get immediate access to demos of our platform without having to find an AE who has one on their calendar.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong makes me more accountable to myself and informs my coaching
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some parts of Gong that I haven't used too much - I find myself relying on a couple of tools. Maybe better training on wider aspects?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been selling for over 12 years and have had sporadic sales training. Gong is like my assistant coach looking out for all the small details that I either don't think about or don't want to admit about myself.

I have also found Gong can replace my manual note-taking on paper which is great as I can focus more on listening to the client and less on my handwriting!

I like how easy it is to show customers where the job seekers are that they're missing out on.

What do you like best about the product?
Love the ability to train/learn from it. All the analytics breakdown.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really - it is a fantastic product.

Training, word tracks, going back to reference conversations (positive and negative).

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can go back to my calls and remind myself of next steps and use cases. Even though I take notes, the Gong recording is the best way for me to get all the context and refresh my memory about customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't love the recording notification that pops up at the beginning of calls but that is a company policy not a Gong specific thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting next steps right after a call. Refreshing my memory before a second call. Also - All of our new reps are getting up to speed faster since they can go in at any time and listed to calls.

What do you like best about the product?
Love being able to listen to how my colleagues sell so I can copy what's working well, and being able to easily go back and listen to parts of previous calls when there are gaps in my notes
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't like is the voice at the beginning warning that the call is being recorded. Wish there was a less invasive way to let them know.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improving my sales ability, being able to focus more on my conversations with prospects instead of taking notes

Every company that sells over the phone should use software like Gong

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is the best sales onboarding and coaching tool. Love the ability to download calls on the app and listen on the go!
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like the ability to download video calls on the app as well

Opportunity to review past calls and learn from colleagues! No need to sit in colleagues calls to learn when everything is recorded.

Must-have tool for any sales organizations.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that data and keywords can be aggregated across an organization to see which talking points are leading to a higher percentage of closed/won.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much that I dislike.It's asking me for a 40 character limit but I have nothing else to say.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Personally, not a lot. But I see my team loving it.
