One of the apps I can't live without
What do you like best about the product?
2x speed and skipping to the next speaker
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not easy enough to add gong to a call once you've already started, or if I'm sending the invite for a meeting in just a few minutes time.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, great UX, provides deep insights into how my reps sell. It makes coaching fun and forces reps to be intellectually curious. I like the call transcription features as well and find it very accurate. I also find the mobile application very helpful. Building various scripts and sharing examples with other reps is also very easy. I like how resp can listen in live to a call without it being known. I also love to the notes feature. It is easy to use and makes outline calls easy so you can focus on the call and not taking notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really, I would like a tighter integration with outreach.io so things like talk times, keywords, action items, ect...it would be nice if all that lived in outreach.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Knowing how to sell our ICP. We want to understand how to talk nerd to Dev Ops engineers, but still, create a compelling reason and sense of urgency to buy. Gong is helping us understand how hard to step on the gas!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a nominal investment if you use it right. Your org probably spends more on coffee in a year that the cost of gong and gong can be used to sell better!

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that you are able to make comments, call recordings, data analytics, seamless integration with multiple platforms! I think its also pretty cool when I get a notification from my manager when he makes a comment!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't search phone number to locate a person on the search bar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving my communication issue with clients. I love that I get to listen in and self reflect and understand the issue with a certain aspects of my conversation and to improve for the next time.

It's a good tool to be the best person you can be at your job.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong has some of the BEST audio transcription capabilities that I have experienced. The break down of the conversations by participant and subject has made reviewing calls a much easier process.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my day to day use as an individual contributor I have no reason to dislike Gong. It does exactly what I need it to do every time without fault. The only thing I have a slightly negative opinion on is the addition of another participant in my zoom rooms. This can sometimes cause confusion for other attendees who are unaware of what Gong is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Gong I was never interested in reviewing my own calls. With Gong all of my calls are organized neatly in one place with great transcriptions, subject break downs and suggestions on how I can improve my cadence. It has also made sharing call recordings significantly easier.

What do you like best about the product?
Seamless integration and incredibly powerful, easy to access analytics. I've used other note taking/coaching VC recorder software, and I greatly prefer Gong!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the "Gong recorder announcement" can be overwhelmingly loud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the problem of taking quality notes while actively listening. I've got a slow pen and a loud keyboard, neither ideal during a client VC. Gong has helped me to stay organized, focus on the conversation at hand, and easily access my notes. Gong also provided valuable feedback on ways that I can improve- % of time I'm speaking, questions asked, next steps, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
It's impossible to remember all the details from every call, which often times the little details can really matter. I go back and listen to my recorded calls on Gong all the time to pick up things I may have missed. It's also great for me to send snippets of the meeting to my engineer or manager so they can hear talking points from previous meetings and help me work through objections and questions. Hearing how prospects frame or structure a question can be super important. Lastly, as a new hire, it's so so helpful to be able to go in and listen to my colleague's calls and learn from them, without having to bug them to invite me to their meetings. I love this tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there's a way to pin-point exactly where you want to listen to a snippet of the call. If someone is rambling on for ~5 minutes, there's no way to play-back from half-way through so you have to go back to the beginning of the 5-minute rant to re-listen to all of it. I wish it had a 15 second "fast forward" like you can do on a podcast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps me be far more thorough with my deals. It amplifies my 'active listening' skills ... or maybe it's just cheating a bit through the recording. :)

There are so many aspects of GONG that help me improve in my role.
I like that my manager is able to review my calls minute by minute and provide me feedback when she has time. This is helping me develop skills and saves time over all.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints about GONG. Sometimes an email notification after every connect can be annoying but doesn't hurt my day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving objection handling, selling the product and asking the appropriate question. Because my manager and myself can go through and listen and or read the transcript the opportunities to learn and gain knowledge are awesome.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong has all the features needed to successfully track your own calls, learn from your own experience, send snippets of your call to your superiors so they can train you further, AND listen to your colleague's calls to learn from their experience. When your calls last a long time and hold multiple topics, Gong segments them out per topic where you can quickly jump around the call and find exactly what you need to listen to.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like it when I received an email every time I had a call (I was receiving about 70 emails a day) but I was able to quickly change that in my settings to only receive a weekly review email!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving all of my own personal ticks and quirks. I was able to see that I was talking too much, not pausing long enough, cutting people off, etc. by relistening to my calls. I was able to make a mental note after hearing myself doing it for my next calls.

Take time to learn how to use it that way you can utilize it to its full potential!

Nothing at all. Solution is clean. Mobile app is a bit clunky but it’s not necessary a deal breaker
