Best tool for relationship management especially with cross functional team
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, easy to understand, Gong AI is fantastic for concise summaries, follow-up email automation. Frequency of usage is daily

The gong AI sometimes does not give relevant response

Keeping track of all communications with the customer. Scoring to revisit and improve the efficiency of sales and customer-facing teams.

What do you like best about the product?
The feature I like most about Gong is being able to go into the "analytics" tab and see how your activities stack up against your teams for the day/week!
What do you dislike about the product?
The feature I dislike the most about Gong is it can at times be difficult to find a contact in the search bar, but this is easy to get around by going into the account and looking there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong allows us to review emails, calls, and any outreach that we do to make sure our team is being as efficient as possible in contacting prospects.

SF integration is a nice plus; not having to enable text transcription to get it working is good too

Excellent Insights and Recording
What do you like best about the product?
Its recording functionality works seamlessly with our team. The insights provided are critical for our success, and it was easy to implement with Salesforce user provisioning and Office 365 connections. It's a daily tool that helps our team succeed, and their support team always has answers when we need them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was some expansion in the stream creation tool since our team's call titles aren't consistent, but that's not the end of the world.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed actionable insights into our team's calls as they relate to our pipeline and overall team performance. Gong resolves this tenfold with its various capabilities.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong provides AI based converstion analytics, which is great to provide training to the reps and also helps give right insight to individual sales reps on what actions they can take as next steps.
Salesforce integration is game changer, provides data back to Salesforce. Quick implementation time, as it comes with a lot of connectors out of box.

What do you dislike about the product?
We found other vendors charge half the price as Gong for similar features. Also they need to have option to users to configure UI based on their choice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Analyzes the converations with customer over email, listen to the webex recordings and provide the key discussion points.

I love how it recaps my conversations with prospects and can draft my follow up emails. The tool is very easy to user

Challenging Setup with Valuable AI Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Gong organizes all our chats, videos, and audio with clients into a single source, making it easy to keep track of everything. I also find the AI tracker's ability to identify common themes across different recordings, even those not from my department, very useful. The AI tracker, especially with keyword features, is beneficial in identifying conversations. Additionally, the Gong-generated transcripts are vital for creating other necessary documents for my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the AI tracker setup to be quite difficult, especially concerning the user interface when setting up keywords or smart trackers. Moreover, I cannot download all the data myself unless we upgrade the plan, which isn't ideal and results in me not fully utilizing Gong. The requirement to download snippets one by one using copy and paste is particularly annoying. This is a cumbersome process, especially if dealing with a large number of snippets, and detracts from the efficiency that Gong should provide. I believe this isn't the best way of selling your AI feature.

I use Gong to organize client interactions by storing all chats and videos, identifying common themes, and using AI trackers for conversation insights, though downloading data is time-intensive.
Impactful for sales team leaders & ICs
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can easily gauge the health of each rep's pipeline and the AI powered search of deals history. I love the heatmaps for seeing if deals are on track or in trouble. It also makes it really easy to see if/when the next call is scheduled. It was easy to set up call grading templates. It has also helped onboarding new reps as I send them to the call library. Myself and my team live in Gong. We use it every day for pipeline management, call coaching, preparing for calls and more. It was fairly easy to set up - we had a strong pilot program with ample customer support. I found it easy to integrate Gong with HubSpot, our email and calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
Call trackers were hard to set up, but I understand the may be easier now with AI tools. I need to look into this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps my team manage their deals more efficiently, ensures things don't slip through the cracks, and provides excellent sales coaching tools.
Allows me perfect resources for trainings
What do you like best about the product?
Having Gong automatically record training calls with customers, I am able to create an easy-to-access library of calls for the customer. It also allows me to share snippets of important parts of the training as well as entire transcripts. Without Gong, my day-to-day functions as an Onboarding and Implementation specialist would be 100 times more labor-intensive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would not call it a "dislike", but being able to mute the notification that the call is being recorded at the start of every call would be great.

Quickly and easily accessing and sharing previous calls and transcripts with customers.
A Must Have Tool for AE's
What do you like best about the product?
Gong makes my job as an Account Executive easier. It records and transcribes my customer calls, helps me catch key details, and makes follow ups more effective. It’s a game changer for staying organized and improving every conversation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven’t been using Gong for long, so no major dislikes yet. The platform is full of features, and I’m still getting used to everything. Sometimes the transcripts aren’t perfect, but overall it’s been very reliable.

Gong helps me revisit customer calls whenever I need, so I never miss important details. It also gives my managers the ability to provide targeted coaching based on real conversations, which has been incredibly valuable for improving my sales skills and overall performance
