Easy to use platform to revisit calls
What do you like best about the product?
being able to go back and listen to my calls and speed up through parts I don't need
What do you dislike about the product?
would love the ability to slow down calls just like I can speed them up. Would also like the transcribing to be a little better - many times just shows gibberish. Could just be me, but I think it's common in our office.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to to go back and capture details that would otherwise would be impossible to write down all at once during a live call
Getting ramped has never been easier
What do you like best about the product?
Having recorded product demos to get ramped exponentially faster. Being able to easily go back and hear myself before follow up meetings has proven to be very effective as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of calls seem to fail to log in Gong, regardless of the states that do not allow it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
forgetting what exactly was said as we run a ton of meetings. Gong keeps me on track and helps my managers give us constructive criticism

Get it, everyone will ramp quicker

The ability to score calls by user using our own custom score card, and also being able to track calls by specific words used.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only some technical issues where calls do not record & if the caller speaks too quietly Gong doesn't transcribe.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing Play tracking, call coaching with Sales.

I would recommend Gong to other businesses! Its a smarter way to track calls & coach your sales teams.
Good for training
What do you like best about the product?
That you can join live calls without being noticed, makes it nice when shadowing for training. Great to go back and listen to, as well

little lag in things being live when trying to listen in. doesn't cover internal calls

What do you like best about the product?
I love how with Gong, I can now go back into calls with prospects and be able to dissect crucial information that I may have missed. It is also super helpful improving your own skills when it comes to discovery calls.

No real downsides! Everything Gong provides is useful in some way.

Call recording, easy to share knowledge.

Excellent for coaching and feedback. Great tool to share snippets of conversations across customer facing teams. I've personally been able to provide more thoughtful follow up since I can go back and listen to calls and pick up details I may have missed.
Gong is a great weapon for better alignment between sales and marketing
What do you like best about the product?
Gong has been one of the best additions to the tech stack at Alpha. We are able to understand how well the client-facing teams are able to articulate Alpha positioning and key differentiators by listening to calls. It's a great way for marketing to be able to tweak messaging, in near real-time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would hope that Gong would invest in its transcription offering, as often the transcripts are full of wrong or garbled words, making them less valuable than they could be.

The fact the you have a lot of data insights into your conversations like interactivity and talk time percentage.

The categories on the bottom aren’t always accurate about talk subject.

Love the stats and trends that gong gives insight too and that you're able to give coaching feedback at exact moments in the call.

I wish calls were uploaded sooner after the call ended.

I've found talk time ratio to be super helpful and to coach my SDRs on listening more and getting prospects to talk more.
