A very robust tool to monitor Best Practices and find your key contributors
What do you like best about the product?
I love the innovation as of late. The new BEAT tool when fully integrated helps track the sales process in your team and helps with a detailed breakdown of where they went right (and potentially wrong).
The call log is very organized and a good tool to track weekly, monthly, and daily performance to track key indicators.
It also catalogs what your reps are actually saying on the calls, and uses tags such as "Use Case" in order for your to understanding the meat of a call.
The integrations into Salesforce are very easy unlike other tools and the CSM support (shoutout to Michael Llama) has been quick and to the point. He has gotten me the documentation I needed when I need it.

What do you dislike about the product?
I believe the script option can use a little more work. That can be used to better document coaching in files for HR regarding PIPs etc.
While I like the reporting features as it stands, having more options to chop it would be a welcomed addition.
I may also not know this is possible, but it would be great to integrate those reports on a dashboard in SFDC rather than having to use both tools for a complete Dash experience.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are discovering why the best reps are exactly that and able to show those that need improvement how to do it and validate that understanding.
As a small start up, we are always doing more work than what is in our description, and a tool like Gong solves the problem of sitting in on calls to ensure best practices are being implemented according to the Sales leader's calendars, not the other way around.

If one of your opportunities is creating more time, a tool like Gong consolidates the phone aspect of training into one piece of software and allows you to coach on your time without the risk of it overwhelming you.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Gong to be able to dive into the words section, and surface which calls in Closed Won were influenced by our partners.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing that comes top of mind that I dislike about Gong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Considering our team has a start-up partnership program, it's hard to surface the wins we have. Like I mentioned previously, being able to dive into the words section and filter in our partners names within the closed won calls has been beneficial in reporting to upper management. Example: overtime you can see the increase of our partners names in calls (14% - 45%) over the course of 3 months. This proves enablement is working, and what areas we need to continue to enable in.

What do you like best about the product?
Call Recordings, Transcript, ability to notate, breakdown of call into categories, and the ability to SHARE with customers immediately following our Meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Time from Meeting End to the Gong Recording being available. The Recording LINK to share with Customers EXPIRES after a certain number of Days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meeting Information Review (If I've missed something/Forgotten something mentioned during fact-finding within a Meeting, I can easily find within either the video or transcript), Meeting Recaps (Ability to Send my Meeting's Recording is ideal for Clients who have been demo'd), and SELF-IMPROVEMENT for Sales Pitch, with the ability to comment on areas I should have pushed more/done something differently.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for Sales Professionals trying to improve their pitch, and for Sales Dept. Heads/Managers to provide more effective, immediate feedback for improvements/things they did well in a much more simplified, centralized way.

What do you like best about the product?
Searchable calls with transcripts. Highlights with topics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Transcript is off and speakers identities are flipped.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Developing new business with gong since clients want to hear how a typical sales call goes.
Great service. But not as great as SalesLoft
What do you like best about the product?
Great way to conduct meetings and have all notes recorded. Allows you to focus on listening to the prospect
What do you dislike about the product?
No 1 sided call recording. you dont get alerted when someone doesnt agree to being recorded. So you think you dont need to take notes, the call ends up not being recorded, and then youre stuck with no call notes and no recording from gong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Calls are now being recorded eliminating the need for manual notes. you can then share the recording with prospects/clients afterwards.
Great to recap already held meetings
What do you like best about the product?
That it shows you what subjects were talked about at the bottom of the screen so you can jump easily to certain sections. I also like that its color coded so you can easily see what parts people were discussing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to alert everyone that there will be a recording which can turn people off. Sometimes the recording can be a bit choppy
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recap subjects that I might have missed on the original call. Also, I can listen to see where I mumble or say "uhh" and it helps me sharpen my selling skills.

Definitely give it a try!

It is nice to be able to rewatch calls and see breakdowns of topics.

It sometimes sends to many notifications and hard to control.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that I can see how much of the conversation was spent with me talking vs the prospect. This has helped me to focus on talking less and asking the right questions to create opportunities to listen more!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is an email for every single call! Sometimes this can clog up your inbox, however, you can always add a filter to divert to a separate folder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to focus on asking more open-ended discovery questions, which has led to more fruitful conversations with prospects, better engagement and ultimately higher conversion.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to search for keywords over multiple conversations. It's so helpful when trying to pinpoint a specific detail of sales call that needs to be reviewed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new layout has a learning curve. It's taken a lot longer to get used to than anticipated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an Account Manager, Gong allows me to review calls had with a client by the previous sales reps. Even more than that it allows me to search for keywords which has been especially helpful in contract disputes.

Don't hesitate. Its a game-changer for every role in our sales department.
