Game Changer for team members and managers

What do you like best about the product?
the ability to review calls and tag specific aspects of each call for review
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcripts could use a little improvement, it also can take some time for calls to load into gong from purecloud
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
inconsistent messaging, cross-selling, asking questions
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Evaluate based on conversion and how much that conversion could increase using your current headcount. While it's often hard to justify the price of a tool you have not fully implemented, you can compare this to the cost of additional sales headcount

Creepy but super useful!

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to easily find any call that I had reducing the amount of time I spend taking notes during the call. This way I can focus on the conversation during the call and not worrying about making sure that I am taking good notes because I know I can quickly and easily find the call to review it. I also am able to pick up on areas of improvement that I wouldn't have been able to in the past, such as seeing how often I use weak language during my sales calls. Gong is also helpful for my managers who can go through and review my calls to give me feedback quickly and easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software takes a little bit of time to get used to navigating and understanding all tools you have for this tool. Though the technology is amazing, there are times that the transcription of the calls is incorrect to what is actually said in the conversation. This can be irritating when giving a report of a call to a manager because I must manually go in and check to ensure that everything is correct before I submit it to my manager for review. Overall a fantastic product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to focus on the conversation during the call and not having to worry about taking good notes during the call. This allows me to keep calls smooth and natural without stressing that I am going to be able to remember everything important that the prospect told me over the phone. This is a fantASTIC TOOL THAT REALLY CAN INCREASE THE QUALITY OF A SALES PERSON AND INCREASE THEIR SKILLS DRAMATICALLY. My managers love it because they are able to drop in and give me feedback right off the bat on calls that they were not in attendance of.

I love the transcription feature, and being able to pull snippets of the call to share with colleagues or prospects

How my voice sounds listening back to my calls!

Tone, recognizing how much i interrupt, tracking how many questions im actually asking in discovery

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to go back and have manager/agent both comment their thoughts on the particular call as well as the ability to listen to other team members calls for coaching and personal training purposes. Being able to add scoresheets is just a phenomenal feature
What do you dislike about the product?
Very few negative things to say. A few times it missed recording calls added to my calendar but I do not believe that was caused by Gong. Excellent software on the whole. Very feature heavy so takes a bit of time to really learn to use the software to it's full potential but there are a wealth of training tools and in my eyes, having too much functionality is not a bad issue to have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better understanding where the team strengths/weaknesses are, excellent for immediate feedback and constant coaching as immediately after the call, both I and the manager are able to swap ideas for improvement and immediately apply them to the next call. This is whether we have a scheduled 1-1 that day or either employee is working remote. It has been very nice to be able to apply this software lightly initially to get a gauge of mine and the teams skill level, and then lean into it heavily for daily coaching and constant feedback.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is an excellent service. Our sales management swears by it and it has helped myself grow as an employee. Facilitated training and oversight on the teams progress/abilities

What do you like best about the product?
The thing that is most helpful is being able to find calls that either I had or my direct colleagues had to either review context, gain an understanding that I didn't have before, or learn new tips/tricks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the calls populated quicker and I wish the transcript was a bit better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to review myself and compare to my peers. I've realized what my filler words are, where I can be stronger and where I can allow my clients to talk more.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Compare yourself to peers, learn from peers, learn from yourself and use their tools to become an overall better sales person.

What do you like best about the product?
Sharing detailed coaching methods across our business. We have sales and account management teams that need to learn from each other, and rotating members into different teams is much smoother with Gong.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app should have some better features here and there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross functional team training.

Best way to self-coach

What do you like best about the product?
Simple to use, but robust feature set. The app is perfect for reviewing calls during my commute
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcriptions aren't 100%, but close enough that you can find the part of the conversation you're looking for without too much trouble.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Demo's are no longer happening in a black hole. You can't improve on things that you have no record of.

What do you like best about the product?
Aside from being a consistent and easy to use recording tool, the analytics and insights that can be gained from Gong's reporting are amazing. It has helped me stay organized and follow through on commitments made during calls that otherwise may be overlooked.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything yet that I specifically "dislike."
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a high volume of client calls and, because of this, things can get lost in the shuffle occasionally. Gong gives our team an easy way to make sure we're following through and listening to our customers.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong analyzes the conversation initially for you to help get to the key parts of the call quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Searching for calls is kind of clunky and the main menus are a little confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping sales reps ask the right open-ended questions that encourage the prospect to speak more and explore their challenges in greater detail.
