What do you like best about the product?
The ability to re-listen to my meetings so I can take better notes or use it as a reference.
What do you dislike about the product?
The written transcript is not as accurate as I would like and weird words will pop up here and there.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong's ability to not only record a call but screen capture the video (webcam) and screen sharing are what makes it such a valuable tool. Gong will also separate out speakers and provide valuable analytics on who spoke for how long if it was too much or too little, etc... You can also accelerate or slow down the playback or the recording and search the conversation using keywords. Gong will also give you action items from the conversation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Gong does send out notifications for upcoming calls and call summaries, I wish it would also send action items from the call rather than having to go back in and review the call to get these. I sometimes have back to back calls where I can't take accurate notes and be able to have a call summary with those action items would great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our previous recording solution was integrated with Zoom and had basic functionality. Gong allows our team to quickly share calls and insights with colleagues and customers. The ability to also centralize all our calls means we're not constantly searching for downloaded calls.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do your homework and due diligence but you'll likely find that Gong is a solid and well-rounded contender to other solutions in the marketplace.

Perfect to stay up to date on calls

What do you like best about the product?
I can't join every call! But with Gong, my colleagues can easily take conversations, or moments in conversations, that are most relevant to me. We've tried other similar tools but this was the easiest by far.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface took a bit of effort before I realized how to find things. In addition, I can't figure out how to subscribe to tags by email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The need to hear feedback, directly from customers, at scale.

launching an on-the-fly call could be a little easier

What do you like best about the product?
The live feedback on calls is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it would integrate with Frontspin, so I could mark calls in front spin and they would pull up in gong instead of me having to search for them
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps me be better at my job when I use it properly. I just want it to be easier to locate my calls.

My customers usually have feedback about what was said, what they thought they heard. Its easy to go back and verify what the actual conversation was.

What do you like best about the product?
I love having an actual record of the call, both audio and transcript. Helps you immensely when referring back to the substance of the conversation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The topic tagging is ok, but can always get better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Biggest solve is that it reduces the need for notes -- also eliminates after-the-fact misinterpretations of what was said.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for an audio recording system for customer calls, it's really great.

What do you like best about the product?
The recording and the transcript functions are awesome. It's easy to miss some information while you are on a call but with Gong you can always go back and fix/improve your notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
the recording is not perfect and sometimes you can miss some calls. I wish there was an option to be able to turn on or off the recording. If I am on a call and for some reason, the line drops and I call back the customer, the recording would not pick up from where I left off nor even allow me to create a new recording.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can always go back and catch some information that I lost in my notes. It's easy to miss some information from your notes while you are on the call with the client and Gong allows you to do so.
Gong also allows you to receive feedback from peers and supervisors by quickly and easily tagging them and having a conversation on the side of the call. It truly makes it easy to give and receive feedback on a specific part of the call or the whole call.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a great tool that allows you to never miss any information from your calls with your clients this is definitively for you. If your organization is big on peer reviews or feedback from your supervisor, Gong is the tool for you. Gong is a great tool with many features and honestly there are still a lot of features that I still even unlocked and fully utilized yet myself.
