Great tool for BDR to AE
What do you like best about the product?
I love the call transcripts. It makes going back to calls and reviewing relevant moments so much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything that I particularly don't like. It's a call recording tool so I use it just as that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me transcribe entire conversations for my AE's to quickly review for pain points.
Brilliant recording tool with conversation diagnostics
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is very user friendly and provides insight for managers to properly review and coach employees on calls. Gong has an excellent resource bank with easy to read and engaging articles.
What do you dislike about the product?
Gong can be difficult with accurate syncing to appropriate accounts and opportunities in Salesforce and there is no way to manually change/re-associate calls. I understand there are millions of unique scenarios, but being able to manually override the account link would be a HUGE step forward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manager call reviews and trainings. Communicating pain points from customers and potential clients to Engineering/Product. Celebrating exceptional work and sharing praise received from happy customers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is an excellent tool for improving your employees by listening to their calls and coaching them and by utilizing Gong's data analytics tools to understand what is working and what might need to change.
Solid platform
What do you like best about the product?
It's initially not super intuitive but it's a very good product with a lot of uses and functionality so it comes with the territory.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very much to say about this. I like it overall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us go back and see the conversations we have along with be able to store important calls/mettings for the future.

What do you like best about the product?
I lead a team of Account Executives who are earlier in their career or newer to our company. Our goal is to be the place to land, expand your skills, find success and then move to take on larger customers or pursue next career goals. Support and coaching are very important to our success and GONG allows for the team, as well as leadership, to listen, learn and observe and to have a deeper insight into the health of our deals; in a way that would not be possible through traditional coaching methods.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this time I cannot think of a downfall of using GONG. The only discrepancies I have found, is at times the call topics tagged do not always match the content during the call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are also a growing team, and often back fill positions when individuals move up throughout the organization. GONG has changed the way we, train and ramp new employees- taking it to a whole other level! We have seen a decrease in ramp time, increase in time to value and understanding, and a huge increase in cross functional collaboration.

nothing. love gong and would recommend it to many folks.

-better note taking - > better understanding of customer challegnes/goals -> better run deal processes
- knowing Gong is running in the background empowers me to be more present on calls w customers instead of frantically trying to jot down what they are saying. Better energy on calls

Great Software - Seamless Integration with Zoom
What do you like best about the product?
Transcript is 100% accurate. Integration with Zoom makes using Gong super easy. Great value add to my daily prospect calls. Being able to include a Gong link that automatically syncs to my Zoom account is very easy and makes sure that every one of my prospect calls is recorded.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet. It has been working well for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefits I have realized is being able to review prospect calls and sometimes uncover key details I did not hear on the phone. I can then include that in my follow up correspondence.
Easy to use, intuitive and easy to search for what you need
What do you like best about the product?
User interface and user experience makes it easy to use. The mobile app also makes it accessible whenever needed and wherever you are.

Sometimes things don't automatically record as expected.

Training new hires and saving a call library and being able to use folders to organize call libraries.
Gong Helped Me Triple My Sales This Quarter
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to research key words from my call is an absolute game changer when dealing with sales calls. Whether it be the price you promised to a client or a specific feature request, Gong's tool allowed to go back on any of my calls and pinpoint the exact detail as well as the context of the situation.
Another fantastic tool within Gong is the ability to assess your talk ratio and other presentation based details. When I first started with Gong, I though I was allowing the client enough time to speak and fully assessing their needs, however after seeing a 75/25 talk ratio, I Quickly learned I was hogging the spotlight. Within just a month on Gong my Demo's average around a 60/40 talk ratio, which in turn has allowed to me to ask far for qualification questions, which makes the end result far easier when it comes to sales.
The third great aspect is the ability to jump into specific points of the conversation based on the keywords of the conversation. It is very helpful to know exactly the "pricing" or "onboarding" portion of the call was, and be able to quickly hop into those specific points.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only negative portion of the system I could imagine is the pre-recorded message at the beginning of calls (This Call is Being recorded... etc). Often times this message is very loud when my client joins the call, not a big deal, but something that I believe is an easy fix.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As much as we like to trust ourselves and our memory, it is virtually impossible to remember every small detail of a call. With complicated sales calls that I deal with on a daily basis, Gong is crucial for the sales process.

What do you like best about the product?
being able to add comments at different points of the call. It is great that I can review calls from colleagues of mine to gain tips. It keeps the work environemt competitive. It is also great to see how much data is extracted through Gonh.
What do you dislike about the product?
the only downside is the number of emails I receive from gong. The colors of the gong webpage can hurt the eyes. Sometimes the translation from voice to text can be off but it is not that big of a deal.

I have had many calls where I missed things or was unable to take down notes. With gong, I am able to quickly find key points and can share them with others at my company.
