Excellent search functionality

What do you like best about the product?
Easily found a conversation that I was searching for but couldn't remember the customer name. I've also used it to refresh my memory about which customers I've recently introduced a new product feature to in order to verify my notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides that I've seen so far; it's made it easy to review old conversations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Personally I haven't used it much for coaching, more of a repository to refresh my memory about particular customers that I might not have spoken to recently & want to make sure I didn't miss anything in my notes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have lots of meetings & need to review them months in the future, Gong is a lifesaver! Both the sorting and search features make it easy to quickly get back up to speed on a customer or topic.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to listen back to calls, easily share recordings with customers and learn about how I can improve as a rep. This tool is something I can't see myself working without in the future. This tool allows me to better understand my customer's problems and ultimately sell more software.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how the announcement at the beginning cuts me off. I don't like that we don't have SSO with this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remembering key details of conversations (timelines, people's names, when they are OOO), allowing me to be more present on calls because I don't need to take detailed notes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't wait, get it in place ASAP. This tool is absolutely awesome.

What do you like best about the product?
How essential the tool has become to my daily routine. I use Gong during every step of the sales process and beyond. GONG is great a recording all your calls and providing a transcript. It makes it easier to get detailed notes, review calls, and do self-coaching in a more efficient manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are so many great features of Gong that I feel I have not leveraged them all to the best of my ability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am working more deals, closing quicker and biggers deals, and it has made my job much much more simple with the efficient features it provides to every sales rep.

What do you like best about the product?
Bot Integration with our internal UberConference and Zoom video conferencing.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is nit-picky, but they've added all sorts of bells and whistles in the past few months that seem pretty ancillary. I don't believe their account manager on our subscription has offered to walk us through much of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem is we have a lot of young, inexperienced sales people that we need to train up quickly at scale. And the rest of us are super busy during the day. Gong lets us train anywhere at any time. It's improved both our lead creation and close rate numbers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When buying, get the account manager to show you more and teach you about the non-core ancillary services. I don't know much about them and wish that I did in retrospect.

What do you like best about the product?
This tool has been helpful in so many ways.
*As a new rep, I've been able to ramp up quickly by listening to my team's conversations and demos.
* I'm much better prepared for next calls with my prospects because I listen to past calls so everything previously discussed is fresh in my mind. I love being able to skip around, listen at a faster speed, and search key words.
* Our team picks a call every other week to review and rate. This has been a great exercise for us to share best practices. Based on the feedback we receive, we've been tweaking our style and delivery to be more effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not always crazy about the idea of being recorded. Before I was confident with the material I was presenting, the thought of being recorded was a distraction.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramped up faster.
Helps fill in what I might have missed or forgot,
Makes me more aware of areas for improving.

An easy way to review and share calls

What do you like best about the product?
Gong makes it easy to review calls and share parts of it with others in the company. I like the automated stats that show which participant talked more and it's impressive how you can set specific filters and searches for key terms for your business.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's happened where Gong came into the call a few minutes late, but that hasn't happened much and not for a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Zoom for our calls, and once Gong is set up, everything is automated. Whenever I set up a call Gong will be there. Not having to worry about hitting record in a call is great.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its' a great service to keep track of your calls and look for trends on what is discussed and how concerns are resolved.

Huge help in active listening

What do you like best about the product?
Gong has been an immense help in my day to day workflow - I am able to really actively listen to my customers without having to write down everything they say, and everything I need to follow up with. I also love that my managers can listen to my calls at their leisure and give me feedback on improvements I can make.

Gong has also helped with my communication skills - letting me know my delay in response time, how long I talk vs. how long my customers talk. It's been such a great help!
What do you dislike about the product?
It's possible to cut a snippet of my conversation to share with management or customers, but it's not very straightforward on how to do that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong really helps me with active listening and the ability to properly follow up. It's been a gamechanger for me - I can't recommend it enough!

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to quickly read call transcripts has completely alleviated my need to take notes during a call. I can spend my time actively listening rather than scribbling phrases down that may not even make sense later, never mind make it into the CRM. I have used call recording software before, but the transcript is a game changer. Occasionally it makes errors in which words it thinks are being said, but it's always readable and sometimes hilarious, like a tame game of MadLibs.

The interface is very intuitive. I don't think I ever attended a training for it and I feel extremely comfortable using it.The SSO with Salesforce is helpful. As for value, I'm not sure what the pricing is, as I am a user, not a decision maker.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I really don't like is that when you start the call, due to our privacy regulations, the audio of "This call may be recorded for learning purposes" always interrupts my prospects when they sign on. I understand the need for it but wish there was a way to not start the call on such an awkward note.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As stated, I no longer have to transcribe scribbles while my customer/prospect is talking. Instead, I can reread the transcript, copy and paste snippets into SFDC for notes, and quickly reference past calls in preparation for the next call to see where I left off. I have a terrible memory for detail which is a horrible quality for a rep who works Mid Market and therefore has a very high velocity of meetings thanks to our own platform. Without Gong I would be in trouble remember which problems I'm trying to solve at which accounts.

Use the call recordings to learn from your team!

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is helpful when it comes to learnings about my own calls. I am able to listen back and learn from where I may have gone wrong or where the call went well,
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have cons about Gong at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It also helps solve the problem of "he said, she said". With call recording, you able to go back and listen to a call to verify what was said.

What do you like best about the product?
It removes the concern about getting all of the important details down during a call--I know that I can go back and fill in the gaps later. This allows me to focus on having impactful conversations with my clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, I feel like I get emailed too many updates. "Your call is coming up," "Your call has been recorded," "Your call has been analyzed"
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to have better conversations with clients and gives me the ability to fill in gaps I may have missed during a call. I also love that I can go back and listen to calls that a salesperson previously had with a customer to ensure we're aligned on objectives. It's also helpful to get feedback from my manager to improve my conversations.
I can see where it would also be helpful for training purposes. As new members join the team, they can go back and listen to customer calls to understand how we frame conversations.
