Gong is a data-driven, powerful technology that all sales organizations should use.
What do you like best about the product?
Gong has so many incredible tools in the toolkit, i.e. the insights tool, predictive tool, etc to help sales people get back to selling and spending more time on the phone.
I like the user-friendly interface. It is definitely a product-driven company.
What I am especially excited about is the future of Gong. Personally, I think SFDC is a bit clunky from the rep side of things and enabling sales reps to sell more instead of manually updating a CRM is the future of sales.
Gong has a wonderful team, product and community and am super grateful for the tool.

It is certainly premiumly priced.
You can do the same things without Gong, i.e. listen to your calls but it is much tougher to look for trackers with other technologies.
I would say improving the "Deals" beta to be more comprehensive -- it is still rudimentary and needs more features (not fully baked).

We are solving our deal reviews and knowing the health of each of our businesses.
One of the best Call Log systems!
What do you like best about the product?
Very intuitive, detailed, and user-friendly system.

The scripted conversation should have been more accurate.

Gong always makes me realize and remember what happened and what could have been done on the conversation with our clients.

I would suggest gathering the necessary info to help to do comparative research through Gong.
Outstanding communication product
What do you like best about the product?
Everything in this platform is making my experience more interesting each passing day because I can easily keep an eye on all my projects through its pretty large view that effectively maintains my productivity of work. Moreover, team collaboration can be maintained through its immense useful features that allow me to make team conversations even better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Gong is providing wonderful services. I have not encountered any kind of issue in this application. There is nothing that I would have to dislike in Gong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can share the entire project's information with the people even outside the organization even with the consultants, contractors, and partners and much more by this single platform. Apart from this the setup of this product is intuitive and incredibly easy to use with even less knowledge and no specific training. Specifically this platform makes my communication even better even by not using the email services and also the IM channels that are not required in this application.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I can even use this application to form various schedules, meetings, file conversations, discussion topics and also much more things that can effectively help me in doing tough tasks with a simpler input. It is the most suitable platform for better communication. From my personal experience this particular product has so many things to look after within the organization or even outside.
Great app that greatly improves coaching
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to scroll through the calls and find relevant sections quickly. Its great for self-improvement as well as coaching. Its really helping us have a consistent approach in lots of situations with all kinds of clients. Highly recommend to anyone trying to do the same

It could be a little faster to get things uploaded, but its really not a big deal at all

I am solving how I approach certain situations with clients. Gong makes it a lot easier to maintain a consistent approach and therefore get much more value out of analysis

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about gong is I can self-improve and not rely on others when it comes to improving. Gong has best practices built in and I can see my stats after every call and take action to be better. I can listen to all my teams calls vey easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have thought hard about any negatives and I can’t think of one. It has always performed and worked well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramping up and training as an AE is so much easier with gong. Improving and implementing new techniques is easier and quicker.

The sooner you can add gong the better if you are looking to scale a team.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong has the ability to make my communication and collaboration effective enough that completely helps me all my business workflow. Moreover, every type of organization can work effectively through this single platform; it can be an educational organization, non- profit organization and also marketing or a real state agency. It has made our communication more easier and advanced.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me every feature in this specific product is quite of importance and also a beneficial way to communicate with my co-workers and teammates as well. Apart from this I cannot think of anything bad in it due to its extremely useful features that help me in order to drive my projects in forward direction without any specific training.

It has the ability to encourage individuals of my organization to work in a collaborative way that completely satisfies the needs and demands. Moving ahead this particular application helps different teams by keeping a pertinent record that can be easily use by other teams as well so they can effectively help each other in this regard.

This tool has provided me with a seamless mobile application that can easily do all my required tasks even by sitting at my home sofa without anything to worry about. Moreover, the suitability of this product favors each and every kind of organization and also helps in the revolving of data from one point to another in a steady flow.

I like reviewing the stats on my calls so I understand what I'm doing well, how I stack up against my peers, and the areas I need to improve upon.

Gong has been somewhat unreliable in that it will sometimes not join our calls or show up late.

We are using it to track our sales calls, and use the data to analyze trends among top performers, enabling us to coach each other toward continual improvement.

if you are a growing sales team with new reps this is a no brainer. have your top reps record demos.
Fantastic enablement and management tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Can I list everything? My two most used features are probably trackers (the ability to search and pinpoint words and phrases your reps or clients say) and score cards (the ability to create call rubrics, and grade rep calls against that). Both have been infinitely useful in calibrating a rep's performance on calls.
Every week we review "game tape". The person who went last week selects the next person to share a call they need help with. We listen, all of my reps score the call and then we "take it up" together. This allows my reps to calibrate their own coaching ability, as well as provide valuable coaching to the rep who presented their call.
We even have a KPI on call scorecarding baked into our quarterly KPI's.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I need help with is being able to search for calls based on call outcome. You CAN do it, but for whatever reason the way our environment is set up, it doesn't let me change it. A lot of their call searching is based on stage movement, which makes a ton of sense for AE's/ISRS/etc but for BDRS/SDRS it makes it tough to find calls sometimes.
I'll be honest though, I'm really grasping at straws here. The tool is fantastic and I would highly encourage you to try it out.

Big problems were:
1. Having a copy of a recording for reps to go back and listen to in order to take better notes
2. The ability for management to identify themes in our most successful calls, so we can use that information to better formulate scripting
3. To provide "just in time" coaching for my team who works across multiple locations.
Gong has helped my reps be more proactive with their performance. If they feel like they messed up a call, they can send it to me almost immediately and we can take some time together to work through it. I personally have seen two of my reps go from ~50% meeting book rate to almost a 65% meeting book rate (a 15% gain) after using the tool for a quarter.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it transcribes the calls, which truly allows me to be in the moment with prospects instead of having to juggle the conversation and take notes simultaneously. It's also a great tool for new hires, which eliminates the need to shadow a colleague. But instead, go through the database of calls and intentionally listen to calls on a particular topic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Accuracy of the transcription - it's not always 100% accurate. Which is expected, but tightening the gap of that would be ideal. Also, the delay between when the call takes place and uploads is cumbersome, in terms of crafting a follow-up and next steps.

It's a great tool to help cultivate a database of best practices on calls. Use this to listen to top performers' calls to get ideas on how to elevate your cold call game. In addition, I encourage using it to onboard new hires for training as it's a valuable resource to help with ramping up.
