What do you like best about the product?
It is super easy to use, my team is more relaxed on call because they are not rushing to take notes, we as a team are getting better, it makes my job as VP of Sales easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, it works perfect, great support, great sales experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to coach my team as I can listen to calls from home or while driving.
We are improving our closing ratios.

What do you like best about the product?
Prior to gong, I would have to rush to take notes and sometimes ask clients to hold for a few seconds while I took a note. Now with Gong, I can actively participate in the call to keep the natural flow of the conversation going ,and then rely on the call recording afterwards to document my notes and followup items. It's really improved the experience of calls for both me and my clients!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's times where the recording doesn't track if I don't accept it to the room before it locks, but i've learned to make sure that's done right. So now I have no complaints!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Call recordings help with training and feedback opportunities, but honestly the ability to go back to the call recording and transcript to capture information we may have forgotten or needed to note is the best!

Sales Will Never Be the Same. In the best way!

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to get onboarded by listening to actual calls (plus seeing their breakdown) has allow me to learn what I need to do to be successful once in the role. When starting ramp, I was able to still go back and listen to what I was doing and focus on best practices. It also helped position me as a leader on the team and lift up the reps I was working with.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcripts can be a little hard to follow since they are pulled from the recording, but that's really minor compared to that AMAZING insight you are able to gather with this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to drive successful deals and figure out what our customers are saying to us.

We want to get responses to questions like: What features do they want? What do they like about our product? How effectively are we solving for pain-points? The next step is then figuring out what and (more importantly) how reps are navigating this customer feedback.

Gong gives you all of this in a way that the whole team can access it. We love this because it gives visibility into all conversations and provides managers the information they need to best support the team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You really won't regret this buying decision because the growth follows. You will have visibility into that part of your business that was traditionally difficult to access: direct customer conversations. Now you have an opportunity to build a library of them, understanding customers at a deeper level, and make pivots when necessary to best support your hard-working reps!!

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to revisit calls and jump to the parts I want to revisit and take notes on. I also like being able to search the call for specific words and jump to those parts as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the notetaker does not appear in my calls because of scheduling issues. I have had a few times where my call happens earlier scheduled, a customer hops on a Zoom and the notetaker does not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to listen more actively in my phone calls in the moment because I know I can go back and revisit the call later.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how it analyzes all Communications and nothing falls through the cracks. Their new "Deals" section is an absolute game changer as it provides me with the e-mail and phone communications for my teams active opps and I can filter and sort to create a dashboard that's relative to my goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Gong recorder some times shows up late to a meeting with it's prompt which can be disruptive but our sales reps have used it to their benefit. Other than that, the sky is really the limit with the tool as the data it's capturing is like no other.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a large team of young sale professionals and a highly transnational type of business. To be able to analyze and coach such a large as being the biggest benefits of the tool. Having a real time visibility in our top deals has been a game changer. Since using Gong, we've been able to increase our pipeline and revenue generation as we have been able to coach better especially around handling objections and competitive situations. Our marketing team has also been able to use the real conversations captured by Gong to create more relevant content for better lead generation. Our Customer Success team is using this to also capture relative customer conversation to be able to provide better programs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start with a pilot if you can as you will see the benefits quickly. The tool really becomes super charged when you integrate it with your CRM like salesForce

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Gong allows me to see other rep's calls so I can get better. I also like that I can go back and recall something that was said in my own meetings. These features are invaluable.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no downsides of using Gong, that I know of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For instance, maybe I didn't write down something important that was said on my meeting (like how many users, or a boss's name) I can now go back and make sure I get it right.

Additionally, as a new rep, I have used Gong extensively to view other rep's demonstrations. This guides my own demonstrations and I have seen my skills increase exponentially.

What do you like best about the product?
Allows our team to hear different approaches to aligning and selling our solutions. Provides and easy format to highlight key points and learning opportunities using Snippets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Search navigation within the Gong database can be a bit challenging at times, especially for potential clients you've had multiple calls with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Addressing the challenge of consistent messaging throughout the buyer Journey is allowing us to align better solutions for clients.

What do you like best about the product?
As a CSM, Gong has made my life so much easier. No more panicking to get all of my notes and "next steps" written down because gong records it, and transcribes the call for me. I also LOVE the metrics - being able to compare my "patience" to the rest of my team!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Gong doesn't automatically join my customer calls, but I'm not sure if that's on Gong's end or mine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Auto recording calls, being able to share calls with customers, metrics around call length, finding out what my "next steps" were on a call, "longest customer story", etc.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the call stats, and the call transcripts. Being able to see talk percentage all the way down to avg. pause length, and word choice is a very powerful tool. It is very easy to read through a past call when I am currently on the phone. Also very easy to search for past calls. A huge database that populates instantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcripts are not perfect at word detection but that is expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Without Gong my follow ups would be completely different. It would be way too tedious to write out a long detailed note for every call. With Gong all I is the name and I can find the full transcript instantly of any call. My follow ups on prospects is always timely and informative thanks to Gong.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look at the stats, read the transcripts. Listen to your calls as well when you have time. It is a tool in your shed, you should use it.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that calls are recorded and available to all members of the team. This gives everyone insight into the process of each sale account's process. The analytics for every section and topic of each call are also very helpful. I like the timeline feature, which chronologically details each part of the sales process, you can very easily dive into the process and see how things are going for the account.
What do you dislike about the product?
Gong has an intense brand. While I personally understand that this is their culture, I can see how it might be difficult for some teams and industries to take the platform seriously. Structurally, I don't have any dislikes about the platform itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong solved schedule conflicts by making call recordings available to all members of our sales team. We're also given really in-depth feedback on all calls without managers having to be on each call.
