Improving myself
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to review my calls and colleagues. An old trick in sales is to shadow the top player and learn. I get to do that everyday if I want to.
Sales Enablement is the key to growth and by reviewing I can enable myself rather than rely just on one or two people.
I login everyday and use it for pipeline, learning, and AI before my next call.

What do you dislike about the product?
not really a dislike, more of a feature request. the ability to add format to the AI email writer. I find myself rarely using it because the format screams AI to me. I more use it just to get ideas from.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NoteTaking is the biggest. The ability to go back and take notes after the call and use AI to find certain areas. Gives me the ability to be fully present in my call.

What do you like best about the product?
I can focus on the conversation at hand without needing to worry about taking notes or involving other people. Also the AI functionality is a life saver for getting summaries of the convo and writing follow-ups

The voice in the beginning of the call can be a bit unnerving, but you can use it as an ice breaker with prospects

Gong is more than call recordings
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to score calls among peers or have feedback given is such a helpful way to level up and this is done so easily in Gong. The UI is easy enough follow and the searching is fluid. It integrate easily to our tools and has been a very complete call library.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it does take awhile for calls to show up in Gong. I assume this is due to the thoroughness of the analyzations but still, if this process was sped up it would be a bit more helpful. At times it also appears to lag a bit. Sometimes slow to launch or load certain parts of the application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is helping our sales reps level up our conversations by identifying all aspects of a call and evaluating what is working. We can also very easily leave helpful feedback and share alternative conversation ideas so we can all learn together. Gong also helps to provide an accurate transcript of our calls which allows us to follow up with our customers using the most important points. The AI analysis of this is quite impressive. A final benefit would be having a near perfect library of calls and demonstrations going back years we can always reference when needed.
Great tool if used correctly
What do you like best about the product?
The capabilities of Gong in helping leadership understand the reality of a deal, whether that be through the heartbeat of the account (how much contact there is between them and us), the use of trackers to identify trends and build enablement from as well as the coaching using Scorecards to be able to demonstrate ROI on coaching activity. Personally, I wouldn't work at a company that didn't have Gong or something similar again.

What do you dislike about the product?
The integration between Gong and Microsoft Dynamics leaves something to be desired. Aware that they are working on that now though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to Gong, we had no real way of capturing conversations bar recording using native tools. Gong has revolutionised how we record meetings as well as the ability to coach, share best practice and enable our people to learn from each other efficiently.

Managing my CS team has been revolutionized by Gong. Its delivery of relevant and actionable insights empowers me to quickly understand team dynamics, identify training opportunities, and conduct effective assessments.

Furthermore, the essential auto-translate feature facilitates seamless communication across my multilingual team, while the powerful reporting provides access to detailed and impactful data.

AI-Driven and Intuitive Business Insights for Sales Coaching
What do you like best about the product?
I am an SDR manager and Gong has been a game changer for me. The AI-driven insights are spot on and the summary write-ups are especially useful because they save me time while ensuring I stay on top of our pipeline deals. I also like that I can pick different speakers and listen to them only. This is a great feature because sometimes I want to know only what the prospect said.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Gong is a powerful and intuitive tool, I have ethical concerns about the company's affiliations and stance on geopolitical issues, which impact my willingness to continue using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Super intuitive and smart platform. I can easily give feedback to my team and it helps them improve their approach and I get clear, actionable data to coach effectively.
I also don't have the time to watch 10-15 meeting records per week, which is why I like the AI-summary I receive after a call. Usually that gives me a good idea, on what was said in the call. If something is unclear or I am managing a new joiner, I'll go to the recording.

Game changer for a seller
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I directly get a summary of my meeting and I am also able to select a snippet of the meeting to then send it internally or directly to my buyer
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the AI summary functionality or search is missing the power that I would get from other AI tools
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don’t need to write follow up emails anymore, gong summarizes my meetings right after they are finished

Call summary and the transcript of the call, I think it works really well with Zoom.

It can take a while to load the recordings and also sourcing through calls is not super intuitive

Sometimes you dont have the ability to listen and write everything and Gong fills those gaps, also it gives a really cool summary that can be used for follow up notes

I like that Gong shares my follow-up actions, a summary of the notes for the call & that at any point I can go back to the recording and use the AI feature to find certain parts of the conversation that I need access to.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's not 100% accurate on the notes & it can also duplicate some points
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It means I no longer have to take notes for my calls, as it's all recorded on Gong which saves me time & makes me more present when talking to customers.
